I don't usually leave reviews but this place is incredible. I have definitely become a weekly regular patron. They have the best customer service and the food is next level. I get the shrimp fried rice every time because it's such a good amount of food for the price. And I eat A LOT. The best part is the service. Everyone inside is so hospitable and warm. I've seen this spot many times, and my sister was looking for a place to take my mom and decided to go here. Since I do like Hibachi, it sounded like a good spot to go. Inside is a decent size, and we waited about 30 mins to get seated. I went early to put us on the list and by the time the rest of my family came we were being seated. The menu had the food to cook on the grill and sushi. We all got the the rib eye steak hibachi. As most they have a little performance, and this spot I really appreciate, because they don't do the flying shrimp thing. Now I know many love it, but I personally hate it, because if I get chosen...then I miss catching the shrimp (which I will), then they'll keep doing it at most places till I catch it. I hate being put on the spot to do it. I'm going to be a prude and even say they can be liable if someone chokes! Anyways I personally hate it, and they didn't do it. So I'm actually glad they didn't. I enjoyed the little show, which honestly is the same in most places. The steak was tender, rice is really good. I loved the sauce with it. Came last Sunday with the whole family, including my mom. She was sitting at the part of the table that has an open portion underneath where the chef Jesus stands and puts his cart. The chef wasn't careful, and one of the plastic trays from the cart fell on top of my mom's big toe. She was wearing sandals, so it started getting red and swelling. The manager Juan came by the table and suggested that my mom go to the urgent care across the street. However, it was the weekend, and it was already closed by then. They gave us a bag of ice, and my mom kept that on her toe the entire meal. I was hoping they would offer us free dessert or a discount or something for the bad experience and for hurting my mother's toe. They didn't give us anything - no comped food, no discount, nothing. I don't normally seek out free food, but they needed to do more to make up for the fact that their employee physically injured one of their customers. We will see if the injury gets worse and will file a lawsuit if needed. As far as food, the hibachi is nothing special and is overpriced. One of the most basic hibachi shows I've ever seen. Basic spatula twirling, no magic tricks, not that entertaining. Never going back here again, and I would never recommend this place. read more

Inconsistent. We came here last week Tuesday and everything was perfect, food was amazing, company was delightful, just a perfect dinner. Today, Thursday, we got a first time cook and it showed. Food was overspiced, too much pepper. He got the orders wrong, he tried to toss an egg in his hat and missed and he made a mess on floor... oh well, what can you do? Ironically, this is my first time writing them a review. Shame on me. My favorite place to go at least 4 times a month with my family. We alway seat at the sushi bar. Got treated by my dad for my recent engagement and this spot was pretty good! Parking lot has plenty of space and I would've never found this spot unless my dad showed me. They give GREAT portions here, such as the chicken fried rice! The actual hibachi shrimp I ordered was AMAZING! Lots of good flavor and they aren't any to use a fair amount of seasoning. There isn't tons of seating here so it is a bit cramped, but it makes it feel like home. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area and craving some hibachi! read more

Honestly this is a hit and miss with service. Today I made a reservation for 7:30pm I arrived at 7:15pm and upon check in they told us it would be a 35-40min wait!!! I don't understand the point of making a reservation if you're going to tell the person behind me with no reservation the same wait time??? Food has always been delicious and the cooks are super friendly therefore I still recommend it. Not sure what it was but definitely not a Philly roll but we ate it and didn't say anything. The rice was probably the best I've had at a hibachi place. Love coming here for hibachi. The service has always been wonderful. I've come with a reservation and walk in and each time we were helped and seated in a timely manner. The food is delicious and flavorful. The items don't come with fried rice so you have to make sure you add that if you're trying to have some tasty hibachi friend rice. I love this place. Food: What's in their fried rice? It's so good.. I like the Ribeyes Medium and Chicken Combo and Scallops Appetizer added. It's way better than Benihana. You get their onion soup comes with fried onions, green onions, and mushrooms, like a beef broth, then a house salad with some special sauce. Chefs come out makes you the fried rice for upgrade $5 its the bomb. . Also you get vegetables zucchini, mushrooms, bean sprouts and onions. They have a brown and orange sauce. I like the brown sauce ginger. And they have some kind of special sriracha sauce made on grill with garlic. Also the chili paste I love it. It's worth it. Sushi and of course Jose he's the best. Small menu on sushi but he pretty much can make you anything. I like the avocado wrapped with spicy tuna, baked salmon rolls, eel roll. He makes this special sauce idk but it's so yummy. We used to come here once in a while but haven't been in the area. Well we were in the area so we came for dinner. We got lucky and were seated quickly with another family that waited 1.5 hours. I guess everyone waiting had left so we got their spots. The inside was ok, nothing special but it looked clean. Since the last time we were here, they raised their prices quite a bit. Given our experiences before at their old location, we were okay with it. We ordered the Rib Eye Steaks and avocado wrapped tuna roll. We haven't been to Hibachi for a while and didn't realize the fried rice is an additional cost, so we ordered fried rice. The waitress had just asked if we wanted steamed or fried so from the way we were asked, we expected that it came with the meal. I think this should be made more clear when our orders were taken, especially if we're being charged $5 for it. Maybe asking if we still want wanted the steamed rice that was included? Now comes our meal. The avocado wrapped tuna roll came our quickly and was very delicious. Good for the price of $20. Moving on to the meal, the 3 shrimp appetizer is literally just 3 shrimps cooked. No garnish or anything, just 3 shrimps. They did taste good so I can't complain about that. The onion soup, salad, side vegetables were also decent. As for the Rib Eye priced at $35, you get a 1/4 inch thick steak which looks about 1/2 as thick as a normal steak. This was definitely very thin compared to some other places I've been. In addition, I ordered rare. Given that it's difficult to cook a steak this thin rare, not sure why that's an option because ours were not rare. The steak pieces didn't have a good sear on outside and weren't rare on the inside. So you don't get the hibachi seared flavor much at all. The steaks were more of a med/med well. Other hibachi places were able to serve a good rib eye rare and were more competitive on pricing. Overall, this place is just okay and service good. Sad that it wasn't as good as it used to be. Given the fact that the price of our meal including tip was $200 for 3 Rib Eye meals, fried rice, avocado wrapped tuna roll, 2 sodas and green tea, plus the fact that the serving size and preparation were mediocre, we won't be coming back anytime soon. read more

This is my first opportunity to come to the new location as I used to frequent the Lakewood restaurant several times a week prior to work relocation and Covid. It was so nice to see George the owner, and Juan who greeted us and sat us. Now let's get to the food! We sat at the teppan tables, but I was able to order some of my sushi favorites, one of which the waitress had no idea what it was, but the sushi chef did! I enjoyed the butterfish fillet, which was fantastic, Picture included, and the number 45, Picture included, which absolutely rocked! I think the server is going to try that the minute I leave the restaurant! The chicken was fantastic, the fillet mignon absolutely rocked! You still end up waiting for a huge table where you are jammed in with 17 other people. The table is only supposed to fit 14 and there is no such thing as elbow room or personal space. It's like eating at a trough. __The management only show concerns for numbers of customers. The place has 3 big tables and 2 small tables. When you are at a big table, you have to wait for the cook to finish with the other tables because they don't have enough cooks.
