My family and I celebrated a birthday there at dinner time last Thursday. It was a pretty busy night, but we got seated right away with a reservation. The restaurant is big, very spacious and has casual yet pretty elegant look to it. They've been there before, and it was my first time I liked the ambiance and appreciated the friendly and attentive staff. We aimed for mostly the seafood, fresh poke/sushi, and hot Chinese dishes. They were delicious. I saw the grilled satay, short ribs, and mackerel, but I didn't try because they looked dry sitting on the hot tray for a while maybe those need to be made to order. The large beef rib was tender and delicious and tasted similar to nilaga or lauya (Filipino style beef soup). I was surprised to see character baon there--so cute that I had to take a pic! How much they charge is worth all that. The staff does bring out their tambourines and sing happy birthday when requested. They'll also store cake in the fridge for you. Great for parties. Great for a large group of friends wanting to eat together and can't decide on what to eat. Four seasons is great when you want to each pay your own way, but want to hang out with friends. Very easy here as you usually pay first but you can ask to be seated together. Reasonably priced as weekend all day price for adults is $29.99, seniors $26.99 and beverages are $2.99. The food is good, hot and fresh depending on if you are at the buffet line at the right moment as they replenish the food items. The bbq grilled items like Korean short ribs, squid, chicken skewers and sardines are ones you have to time just right as they place it on to the hot plates from the grill because they get swooped up quickly. The teppan grill also just depends on how many are ahead of you. I'm not one to choose buffets as my go to, but if the whole gang is going, I don't want to miss out on the fellowship. read more

They have a teppenyaki station where you can have made to order dish. They limit the steak to 2 pieces but there was only 1 piece left when I was there. They have clams, mussels, octopus and calamari but no salt and pepper shrimp which I was craving for. The quality of food is better than most buffets. Their clams soup base was tasty but not their clam chowder which was pasty. They have huge beef rib bones perfect to bring home to your dogs. Their ice cream selection was varied. I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed a weekday lunch at Four Seasons buffet. Lots of food options. It's a good place to have family gatherings. There is a senior discount if you're 65 plus. Also available: fried chicken wings, pizza. Dessert choices: generous selection of fresh fruit, chocolate cake, petite egg custard tartlets, donuts, tempura won ton skins, and ice cream. one of us was celebrating a birthday, so i mentioned it to the front staff when we arrived. there wasn't a birthday discount or complimentary dessert, which we didn't mind at all. i was told the staff could sing happy birthday, and i said that would be great. well, it never happened. if it's not something the restaurant actually does, that's completely fine, but don't offer it and then forget about it. i also noticed one of the sushi chefs repeatedly slamming serving tongs onto the trays during the dinner rush while guests were standing in line. i understand being frustrated when people leave utensils in the wrong places, but it wasn't a great look. that said, i still enjoy coming here. our group of 6 was seated immediately on a busy friday night, and the salad and sushi bar remain my favorite parts of the buffet. i also have to give a shoutout to the fries, which remind me of kfc fries. the restaurant was clean, the plates were heated, and sanitizer and gloves were available at the start of the buffet line. the food and cleanliness keep me coming back, but this visit had a couple of service lapses. read more

The interior of Four Seasons is really impressive. It's bright and spacious - a stark contrast with the usual Chinese food buffet get up. For lunch, it's $19.99 for adults. Pretty reasonable considering that's the going rate for an entree these days. Unfortunately, the food was mid. Mid. Very mid. I usually look forward to the American Chinese food offerings: orange chicken, honey chicken, General Tao's chicken - whatever chicken, but there was something slightly off with the flavors. They tasted familiar, but needed more salt or seasoning to come correct. Was definitely not giving Americanized Chinese food. Black bean clams and salt & pepper shrimp are my jam at the buffet. Both were absent from the lunch scene at Four Seasons. What a tease and disappointment actually. The best thing about Four Seasons is their sushi island. They offer fresh nigiri - salmon, tuna, etc. And the California roll is reincarnated six million ways which I thought was fun. Eating at Four Seasons satiated my curiosity. Quality meets quantity in this very above-average "Las Vegas" style buffet in Cerritos. I was in town for business purposes. Knowing how I am, I put it on my myself to do some research the night before for some unexplored dining opportunities. Having read reviews / seen pictures, Yelp & fellow Yelpers deliver yet again. The one thing that SoCal is never short of is buffets, especially Asian / Seafood style buffets. But there are so many variables at play: quality, cost, selection, busyness, etc. I'm happy to report that Four Seasons buffet is a solid & reliable option. At just under $20 (before tax, tip, & drinks), I'd be hard-pressed if you could find a more competitive value. That said, the quality of the food is pretty great for what you pay for. Whether it's the fresh salmon for nigiri, slices of steak & chicken cooked right in front of you at the Teppanyaki-style grill, or the various Asian-inspired. American, & Asian-American fare along with some surprising offerings like frilled octopus & white meat chicken skerwers. You're bound to find something or many things that you'll enjoy. Parking is aplenty in this rather large shopping/dining district. For a Monday afternoon, I was pleasantly surprised how busy this place was. It's a good sign if people obviously like the place. But there is that careful balance that things are not too chaotic where you can't get around or fear that your preferred options run out before you can come back. Also, bonus points for a rather larger offering of ice cream options (not every buffet wants to offer cookies 'n cream for some reason). Finally, huge, huge shoutout to Maya at the Front Desk for being so incredibly welcoming & accommodating. four seasons is pretty tasty, but a lot of the things i was excited to try was unfortunately dry and not fresh the bbq looked most enticing, but for the hour that we were there, they didnt restock the kalbi or the fish. i tried them all and they were all incredibly dry, but seasoned pretty well. the mongolian bbq was yummy with great selection and the rolls were decent, very american style but pretty good. fish of course not the best quality but tasty nonetheless. overall, the food quality is okay and it shouldve been restocked much more. especially for a sunday evening. selection makes up for it though. read more

Came on a Sunday. Place opened at 11am but the line formed around 10:30am. Prices vary depending on the day you go and ages of the people in your group. Pay before being seated. Water is free. But all other drinks you have to pay for. You can request additional drinks once seated but you will be asked to pay additional. Food was as expected. They didn't have crab legs on Sunday when we went. Not sure if that's just because it was the weekend or if they don't have crab legs at all. The oysters were huge hit but took a while to replenish. Marinated short ribs had me emotionally unwell in the best way. And giant squid?!?!?! This isn't your average buffet, this was Poseidon's backyard BBQ!! Desserts: Legit. One early Sunday afternoon, my family and I were driving around trying to find something good to eat (since the restaurant associated with our hotel didn't have good food). I consulted Yelp and found a restaurant we would enjoy; however, once we were arrived, they were extremely busy with a line of people waiting to dine there. Disappointed, we decided to drive around the area when we saw the Four Seasons Buffet. We decided to take a gamble and give them a try, hoping our little picky eater would be eat something. Upon entering, there was a relatively short wait to pay for our food and be seated at a table. They were quite busy and the restaurant was quite full. Despite the busyness, all of the staff that we interacted with were quite nice and helpful. The food was actually quite good. Whenever I go to buffets, I normally expect average tasting food, but a lot of their dishes were well seasoned and cooked. I was surprised that their LA galbi was tender and flavorful! There were dishes that my daughter enjoyed as well (thank God). We were all thoroughly stuffed once we finished dining here. Luckily we walked it all off at Disneyland! 4 out of 5 stars! read more

The 'Vegas' style buffets in our area seem to be closing since Covid, so was happy Four Seasons Buffet is still open. We knew with experience that parking around the Cerritos Center is a bear, so we went for the earliest lunch possible to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday. It was good. Pricing was $31.99 per adult (over 10, with no senior discount). The opening time listed was 11, but they started seating people at 10:30 (maybe because it was Father's Day). By 11, the place was fully packed, and by the time we were leaving at 11:30, there was already a long wait. Food highlights (I always skip the chinese food section at a buffet): -- large sushi section: numerous maki choices with many using avocado and krab/mayo filling (which I really like). Also choice of sashimi: ahi tuna, amberjack, and salmon (if chosen carefully visually, some of them were quite good). Comparable to lower end, AYCE (or conveyor belt) sushi places...which is great for a buffet. -- different types of clams and mussels dishes. They use the large New Zealand green-lipped, in either the cheesy mayo mussels or in a black bean sauce. Both were good, not quite lip-smacking. -- Many shrimp dishes, using large shrimp. Could just pig out on shrimp, if that's your fancy. -- mongolian grill area: shrimp, chicken, beef steak. Four simple sauces (ask for all of them). Can get quite busy in that area. Don't forget to tip. -- the only crab dish was salt and pepper blue crab. Impossible to peel, meant to be eaten shell and all. The body is what you would eat, one bite per half crab. It was solid. -- A different grill area where the 3 raw proteins (beef short ribs LA style, gutted pike mackerel, large cleaned squid) were displayed right in front of you. If you move further down the line, it is being cooked in front of you, and then put in a different container for you to grab. I've never seen it done like this. I did end up picking up the grilled mackerel (kkongchi in Korean which I adore, but very bad to cook at home because of the smell) and sliced calamari... no kalbi since it didn't look very good. It's a cool concept, but the end result wasn't that great, saury to say. One thing I wish this buffet had is a noodle bar, serving asian style noodle soup dishes like Pho. Some of my best memories are eating Pho, sushi, and steamed crab legs, all at the same time. Probably need to go back to Vegas if I want that. read more

Since this restaurant is always very busy, the turnover is fast, which means the sushi is always fresh -- which is very important. There are also quite a few selections, and I particularly like the tuna. I also appreciate the fact that their sushi comes with a reasonably generous cut of fish accompanied by only a small piece of rice. Service is good and dishes at our table are always cleared promptly; drinks are also refilled in a timely manner. The place has a casual atmosphere, and the noise level is quite high especially when it is packed -- which is most of the time. But I guess few people come here for the ambiance. When I first got there, we were #92 and they were calling out #75. So we waited about an hour, but honestly it went by fairly quick and the food and price was well worth it. On weekends, the buffet price for adults is $28.99 which is definitely a great deal considering all the food and high quality options. There was a bit of everything from Japanese sushi to Chinese dishes and dim sum, and American food like fried chicken, garlic bread and French fries. My favorites were the fried shrimp and mussels - loved how huge the fried shrimp were! The dessert was also pretty good - went back for seconds to get the banana pudding and enjoyed how jthere was a chocolate fountain for dipping fruits and marshmallows. This has been my favorite Buffet now for a few years. They are always busy on the weekends. Food is good. I always eat the coconut shrimp and the short ribs. Sushi is good too! They cater to the Pacific Islander population by serving taro with coconut milk! Service is always great here! They are very friendly and unlike other buffets do not get an attitude. We had a gathering there on a Tuesday afternoon/evening after a funeral at Rose Hills. As far as buffets go, this place is above average in terms of food quality, selection, taste, & cleanliness. We had many senior citizens in our group and they all commented the food was good. Many people particularly enjoyed the grilled whole mackerel - I enjoyed the grilled sliced squid. They have sushi rolls, Chinese dishes, fried items, soups, salads, desserts, & more. Everyone was satisfied with the food. The wait staff were attentive enough despite being busy & us being a large party (about 70 people in total). They were good about separating out the lunch arrivals (before 3:30 pm) and senior citizens (65+) for the bill. Parking is usually difficult as it's in a busy shopping mall.
