I personally won't go here again, as I love sushi too much, where I don't want to be forced to eat the rice or else I would be charged a 5 -10 dollar fee. This remains a very economical place to grab lunch. The buffet offers a wide variety of food. I do wish that the sushi bar would properly label their food as either raw or cooked. Otherwise, there's always a language barrier asking the preppers what's cooked. My waitress really was attentive, and kept my green tea full. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed. They put use in a cramp area so no one had any room to move around each other. most of the food tastes awful especially the sushi and I'm a big sushi eater. Went today, Memorial Day, for lunch. Got there at opening. Buffet was well stocked and the food was great. The service, however, needs work. Every time we go, the waitresses hover over you and try to rush you out if it even appears you may be finished eating. While I understand the need to turnover tables when it's busy, they have not been full with a wait anytime we've gone for lunch. As soon as you sign the credit card receipt, the waitress is coming back and grabbing the receipt book, taking 1 step back from the table, and checking her tip. At least walk away while checking your tip amount. 1 in our party wasn't satisfied with the service, so a tip wasn't left by this individual. The waitress took the receipt out, crumbled it up, threw the receipt book back on the table(while mumbling something in another language), and took the receipt to throw away. I reviewed this location for my visit on Super Bowl Sunday, and it fell short. I gave it three stars at that time. To be fair, I didn't try the hot food bar at that time. The crab was disappointing... I went back on a Monday evening four weeks later, and I was pleasantly surprised. I went ahead with 5 stars due to the price. The sushi was freshly made. The hot bar was delicious. I ate 5 raw oysters, and I'm just fine the next day. I still compare it to the location I'm familiar with in Rogers, but this location is right up there on a Monday night! So after battling kids at the Museum of Discovery all morning, we decided to try out a place I had heard about having a good sushi buffet... So how good can the food be for 13.95 buffet (lunch)? Well we had a party of 9 and got a seat immediately (5 adults and 4 kids.) 17 plates of food later we had conquered the buffet! All the food was well prepared and tasted great, fresh food was continuously being brought out. Gyoza was plentiful and tasted good, shrimp tempura was amazing, noodles and rice were both good, teriyaki chicken was good. Then I made it to the sushi! 12-15 types of rolls and nigiri were available. I tried at least 2 pieces of every roll and nigiri. I have to say for buffet sushi this sets the bar high and blows every other place out of the water. Our family is ready talking about the next trip!! This buffet is one of the best I've ever had. Well worth the cost. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. Sushi rolls were excellent.

We always come to Tokyo House when in Arkansas. The sushi is really good and for the price, really amazing. There is a lot of variety. There are tons of other seafood, beef, and chicken options. It's like an American Chinese food portion and a Japanese sushi portion of the restaurant. We usually just go for the sushi. Overall, a great price for what it is and staff is super friendly. After finding this place several years ago, this is still my go-to choice for eating while passing through Little Rock. It is truly a unique option for just about anywhere in the US, let alone one I happened upon in a place I've never been in for more than a night. It's...a buffet right? And yet it can cost over $20 per person? Yes, but while I tend to give a lot of leeway for quality buffets, this one is feels extremely unique. It's a true cross between the convenience of a buffet and the quality you'd get from a typical sushi restaurant. It feels like an endless sushi-experience where they would normally prep it for you fresh, but with the option to pick and choose individual pieces instead of a roll at a time. While conveyer belt sushi can be a fun experience, you can't beat the ability to just walk around and select from even more varieties than you'd find at one of those. The variety is definitely one of the best things. With so many types of rolls, sashimi and sushi, there's endless options. And all of them have a remarkable level of quality put into them. And that's just the sushi! You also have an assortment of other options you'd expect at a Japanese restaurant, salad bar areas, appetizers, soups, rice options, cooked seafood dishes, and desert options. It's all around a very well balanced place that should satisfy even the sushi-suspicious downers in your family. Very very good food with the absolute best selection of food I've seen second only to Golden Corral. Crab legs, shrimp, oysters, an incredible sushi bar teri chicken and steak. I cannot list it all but I can say you will not be disappointed. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented. It is a bit pricy with a drink and tip you are $30 per person but when you think about then amount and quality of the food you are eating it is fair. Everything from seaweed salad and Miso soup to tamago sushi and at least 10 differing rolls, there will be plenty to choose from. If you don't find what you want on the buffet, they have a menu to order from. There is a lower level that is full of Asian hot dishes. They have potstickers, spring rolls, and lovely Thai dishes. There are whole cooked fish that they can't keep on the platter on Sunday! There is always a fried rice dish and a Lo mein or soba noodle dish. When we first went in it looked small for a buffet. Nothing fancy but the quality of the food compensates! First there is a sushi bar with excellent sushi. Not a fan of tempura sushi usually but theirs is awesome. The sashimi was fresh and tasty. All the sushi was excellent including several unique flavors. The sea weed salad and the eel salad were both well done. The regular buffet selections were very good. Many different shrimp dishes, all well done. We enjoyed everything and we have had Japanese/ Chinese dishes across the country, Canada and Europe. Now one (Major) CON were the oysters on the shell! They looked shriveled and murky. My husband took one to test and they were turned and quickly spit out! We notified waitress and front desk only to be told ok! We watched and they remained on buffet and customers took? Upon leaving we told them again but no response? The other con was a sign saying you would be charged extra for any rice left on plate from sushi! Ok understood that people waste too much and that is a crime. The real crime though was the waitresses walking constantly from table to table and standing near tables and looking at people's plates. It made us real uncomfortable even though we do not waste and do not allow our children to! At $25 plus a plate it should be comfortable and enjoyable. read more
