    Ramen

Good ramen. I think the broth needed a little more time but still had good flavor. Noodles were good and buttery. Very small but quaint restaurant. They offer table and bar style seating. I also tried the chicken bao appetizers...they were delicious. I honestly think I enjoyed them more than the ramen. Service was good as well. Ample free parking since it's located in a strip mall. Good go to on a cold day.

Tofu Steamed Buns / Pork Dumplings

Their steamed buns are some of my all time favorites. I also have enjoyed both their broth and brothless ramen too. I greatly appreciate them having vegetarian options. I can't tell you the number of times my husband and I try to go venture out but then end up going straight to Aji knowing that it won't disappoint!

Food is okay. I wish it was spicier!!! Still traumatized from when we found a piece of rope in our ramen... Service was bad and food isn't that good overall.

You really need their food in your life, LOL! Customer service was great as well! This is a quaint spot so if you're going for dinner/weekend, it might be a wait. But, trust me it's well worth the wait! I ordered the Takoyaki (octopus balls) and the Shoyo Ramen (with chicken and fried shrimp). I do wish the octopus was a little less gummy but the sauce on top of them were awesome! The ramen was the star of the show for me!! It was everything I needed and more, fulfilling and flavorsome! I ate EVERY last drop. Oh, and add some garlic oil for an additional layer of yumminess!

So glad we finally tried this restaurant. So many appetizers. Even octopus balls!! We had the dumplings, karaage, and spring rolls. For the main course we had vegetable ramen, tonkotsu ramen, and miso ramen. You choose which protein you want in it. The vegetable ramen comes with tofu. All very tasty. They have an assortment of beers and sake. Along with a couple of wines. Small place so it gets filled up quick. We didn't have to wait long. They moved people through quickly. Plenty of parking. It is located in a strip mall.

We stopped for lunch during our trip and were happy to have found authentic ramen! It was a cold and rainy day, so it was just perfect. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted and sat. We ordered the gyoza to start, and they came out really fast! They tasted great and were pan-seared perfectly. We then ordered the Tonkotsu ramen, and it also came out fairly quickly. The ramen was delicious, full of flavor, and loaded with condiments. They also offer you a side of chili oil in case you want to add some spice. The service was also good! I would recommend this spot for some good ramen.

    Vegetable Ramen

Awesome ramen and service. I usually get the vegetable ramen and add extra chili paste on the side for some heat. Sometimes I add extra tofu, roasted seaweed or soft boiled eggs. This is a very busy place during typical lunch hours. I try to go between 1 and 5 for a quieter atmosphere with less people. They also have sake and Asian beer. I wish they'd add more non flavored, non nigori, dry sakes. Great spot!

A small ramen spot laid out in a narrow way. They have a handful of tables (maybe about six) to seat four people along the walls and then bar seating basically along the other wall. A bit warm on the inside, but not so much that it was miserable or even that distracting. The menu is pretty small, but they did have an extra paper with some new menu items... though even with some more options I'd still say the menu was pretty small. I went with the chicken ramen. It came in pork broth (which I thought was interesting since it was chicken ramen, but that's probably pretty common and I just never noticed before). I thought it was good but pretty simple. I would have liked the flavor overall, and specifically the broth, to be more powerful. I did really enjoy that it came with a soft boiled egg instead of having to order it as an "extra" like some other places. I also liked the chili hair since I've never tried it before and it looked cool. It added a tiny bit of spice. The noodles were thinner than I've had with this kind of ramen, it was more similar to the thickness of packaged ramen. They gave a good amount of chicken and the chunks were pretty big. To me it had a soy sauce flavor, like the chicken was cooked in it or something. I didn't eat any of the seaweed paper but I liked that it was there still because it added a little more flavor to have it kind of continue to soak in the broth. The staff was very nice too!

The best broth for noodles that I have ever tasted. It's made from scratch - not powder like other restaurants.

We started with spicy edamame and calamari, I'd highly recommend both! For sushi, I got the crazy monkey roll (a fan favorite, they light it on fire at your table!) and a spicy tuna roll. We shared a cucumber avocado roll, and the others got dragon rolls, crispy shrimp, and shrimp tempura. We were happy with all of our orders and left stuffed! Would recommend to all sushi lovers.

We sat at the bar (different from the sushi bar, which is also an option) and had a very attentive and knowledgeable bartender. I tried the local filtered sake (who knew that Arkansas produces a large percentage of the country's rice?) and it was very nice. We each got a ramen bowl and a sushi roll. I got the wild salmon roll as I generally prefer simple rolls. The roll was very heavy on the rice, less so on the actual salmon. It was still nicely prepared and tasted good, but maybe not worth the price when you consider how little salmon you're getting out of it. I also got the Tonkotsu Ramen Bowl and added duck to it. The bowl was tasty, but slightly mild/bland -- to be fair, I asked them not to include the jalapeno because I'm terrible at handling any amount of spice. It was a generous serving and I happily took half of it home for lunch the next day. Overall, I enjoyed my meal here and I didn't think the prices were outrageous. It's a nice atmosphere that can lend itself to cozy casual or intimate, and I wouldn't mind coming back here even if it doesn't top my list. Definitely worth a visit to decide for yourself.

During lunch you get to order from a limited menu, and we decided to go with the AYCE Korean BBQ option. After we received the meat, the grill failed to get to a sufficient temperature to cook the meat. We brought this up to the waiters attention, and he immediately tried to fix the solution by moving us to a different table. Because there was a shift change, he transferred us to another waitress which was no issue to us. However, the grill again failed to get hot enough to even put a sear on the meat. I asked the waitress again if this is the hottest temperature that they have, and she said yes. I attached a picture but imagine waiting 10 minutes for the meat to get cooked, only for it to be barely braised at a Korean BBQ restaurant lol. Taste wise, the bulgogi was not marinated in what I would consider a bulgogi marinade and had a strange aftertaste. Not only that, the waitress did not check up on our table for the remainder of the meal so we didn't get a single water refill, and I had to ask another staff member to please bring the check. The restaurant appears to be clean, but to call this Korean bbq would be a joke considering you couldn't even cook the meat properly. I did notice that some of the other tables on the outskirts seemed to be able to pack a little bit more heat so maybe the tables in the center are not as great. Definitely would not be back nor recommend anyone else to come.

Later that evening my stomach started bubbling and I became sick to my stomach. I immediately knew I was sickened by the food from Gokū, as that was the only food I consumed that day. Nothing I did provided me any relief. That sickness remained until 06/04/2026. I know it was food poisoning because I was nauseated, with upset stomach and severe stomach pains. On 06/05/26 I was able to stop by the restaurant and inform them of my situation. Nothing was done as the person I spoke with said the owner wouldn't be there until the next day and I should call back. He told me I would need to call back today, but the owner doesn't speak any English. I called the restaurant phone number that I was given by Chase. Once the phone was answered but no one said anything. Another time I left a message on his vm. After that I decided to post about MY experience with Gokū Ramen Bar.
