Wonderful food! Great prices! Wonderful flavors. I wish I lived closer to this restaurant because of how amazing the food was. I absolutely recommend stopping in and getting dinner here.

We have eaten here several times since my first review and every time the food and service has been spot on! Tonight's visit included a variety beautifully prepared and presented rolls, including an eel and avocado hand roll. Every item was fresh and very flavorful. The service was very attentive, keeping our hot tea and waters filled throughout the meal. Due to the consistent quality of food and service I added the 5th star and highly recommend visiting.

I was in town visiting family, and decided to eat here based on the reviews. They have an extensive menu- easily over a hundred options. Prices are also very affordable, and you get a good amount of food. I started with the Crab Rangoons, which came with duck sauce. There were about ten Rangoons in the order, which was impressive. However, the ratio of wonton wrapper to filling was way off. There was a thick dry wonton border around the center, and there was little filling inside the Rangoons. For my main I ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce combo plate. It came with fried rice and a spring roll. The fried rice was good, albeit somewhat bland, and the spring roll was also good. The lobster sauce contained ground beef "meatballs", which I thought was unusual, and somewhat off-putting. My grandmother got the Shrimp Chow Mei Fun. This was loaded with shrimp and had a delicious taste, and was finished with scrambled eggs. This was definitely the best dish of the evening. Overall, it was a great value for the price, but I was disappointed in the Crab Rangoons and the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce.

Tokyo is one of our favorite go-to family restaurants. Huge menu ranging from freshly made sushi, hibachi, Chinese dishes, Japanese noodle options and much more. The cream cheese wontons are a must try! Service is always great!

I ended up here by mere casualty. I went for a vaccine next door, and found this restaurant in yelp reviews. My favorite part is the son of the owner or the manager, I am unsure who she was. However, the kid made my day. a 4 year old boy taking like a 40 year old, asking me how was my dish, and what did I like the most, etc. If you look at the pictures, the food looks very provocative; in fact it was. I ordered a black angel sushi and beef lo mein. I really liked the presentation of the sushi and the sauce on top of it. The beef lo mein was really good and the beef was super soft. Nice meal. I would love if the can offer the same entrees in smaller presentations. Like a "kid menu" but for adults.

Mango roll & Crunchy salmon roll, with beautiful art!!

Wow. Staying in the area for a few nights for an event and randomly ended up at this restaurant. Some of the best sushi I have ever tried, and such beautiful art on the plate. Presentation + taste + service was awesome. Such a kind staff, and definitely a diamond in the rough type of restaurant!! You HAVE to give this a try if you are a sushi lover.

The sushi was not bad, but not the best. Good service, but very pricey. I was surprised it cost as much as it did.

Total came out to approximately $43 (not including tip). What's hot - Menu. Pretty good. There's something for everyone, possibly even vegans. I'm uncertain whether they have vegetable broth, but they have options that are vegetarian. There's pho, ramen, rice, curry, meats, and tofu. - Quality. Pretty good. The chicken karage was not overly breaded, crispy, had a nice flavor. Lt was not overly salty and served warm. My tofu miso ramen was not overly seasoned, which I appreciate. One of my pet peeves is when noodle soups are too salty, because it detracts from what the natural flavor should be. My miso ramen had a nice seasoning. My husband really enjoyed his red curry. He said it had a slight kick of spiciness with a slight taste of sweetness from the coconut milk. - Portions. Pretty decent size portions to get you full, not stuffed. Good value for money. - Location. Centrally located in downtown around other shops and restaurants. What's not - Service. Among the 4 in our group, 3 of us had something wrong with our orders. My ramen arrived with no tofu. When our friends received their orders, it was completely wrong (I.e., they were given someone else's order). There were also mistakes in the dishes they actually ordered. Given all the errors, everything was delayed and took longer, which was frustrating. - Payment. You're expected to pay your tab before actual service, which includes tips, as well. Hubby and I aren't fans of that, especially given all the mistakes that our group encountered. - Parking. Since it's downtown, it's mostly timed and metered parking in the area. - Time. They close at 8pm. Our group was the last ones in the restaurant, which surprised us. As such, I asked their staff what time they close. When they responded 8pm, I asked them if our group should leave. The staffers told me that my group was ok, which we appreciated. However, we didn't stick around. Just be prepared that this is not a place you can continue to hang out in. Final answer Willing to return, but not a first choice.

Lemont is a cozy and quaint town at the base of Mount Nittany. Kamrai sits in the middle of the "business" area in Lemont. It's located in an old victorian style home with an enclosed porch. There's plenty of parking in and around town with sidewalks to access the restaurant. They offer thai & sushi as menu options. By luck we stumbled across Kamrai on this evening as we were in the area around dinner time. We got porch seating, which is great, and opted for some thai and sushi offerings. It's an old establishment but it has it's own charm. Service was good and the food came quickly. I got Spicy Udon with pork and it was delicous. I also tried their shrimp tempura. We all did not arrive at the same time but within 5 minutes of each other and the policy is not to sit at hibachi table until everyone in party is there. I knew this from before but had momentarily forgotten. The lack of waiting area is also a problem and they direct you to area with non hibachi's tables. I immediately explained that my son is not going to do well moving from waiting table to hibachi table without issues. The response was "well that is our policy". He is non verbal, has autism and fragile x, he doesn't understand policy or why we'd be put at one table area to wait and then move to another table. When the rest of our party arrived and he had to move, he got loud as I predicted. Two other people in our party also had autism. I sensed immediate annoyance from the management. We have no complaints about our server or our hibachi chef as they were more than kind and nice but we feel management instructed them to move us out fast. It was the fastest hibachi cooking I ever had there. We were never asked if we needed more drinks or dessert. It was a birthday celebration. Then suddenly they were there singing with a gong but obviously knew we had autistic people in the party. It caused reaction from my son and his cousin. They never asked us prior if it was okay or told us what they planned. We could have prepared the boys for noise. And then next thing we knew our check and to go boxes were presented basically saying get out! It was my worst experience ever at Ichiban or any other place I have taken my son in all of Pennsylvania or Texas where our permanent home is now. I did not punish the waitress and gave a very generous tip. I truly think she was told to move us fast. It wasn't even overly busy as we went before 5 pm. There were open hibachi tables. Overall I think the management needs training in people with autism and other sensitivity issues. This is super disappointing from a restaurant we typically love.
