Food was great, but I witnessed something that didn't sit right with me. The waiter in his 30s with the arm tattoos snapped at a table of young girls next to us. He did not give them silverware, so they flagged him down for silverware. When he returned, the young lady asked for a drink, and the waiter snapped, "I can't keep getting things for you every time you see me!" The young girl looked upset, and just said "nevermind." I'm not sure if they asked for a new server, but they got one (as they should). The ladies were respectful, used their manners, and the waiter got rude with them. This didn't sit right with me as a mom, because the waiter was helping tables of adults, and could have easily snapped at anyone, yet chose the easiest target (a table of young girls). We won't be coming back. Hopefully they won't be either. Waiters have every right to be stressed out, but do not take it out on a group of young girls infront of tables of adults. read more

We have went twice in the last month. The all you can eat is great. Staff Cole by often and food doesn't sit long before coming to the table. I have seen some of the complaints about how often servers come to the table for new orders, but I think that's more a function of how busy they are and not them being inattentive to patrons. read more

Nice decor inside but the sushi was terrible. For 30 dollars a person for AYCE I would never recommend this to anyone. The eel roll was 97% cucumber and 3% eel. The "snow crab" that they advertised on the menu that is supposedly in the roll was 100% crab stick. It's basically all California rolls with tuna or salmon thrown on top of it with eel sauce and spicy mayo sauce. Service wasn't bad but the food for the price was a major disappointment. However, the reason I'm giving this a 3 star rating is the fact that I had ordered 5 different sushi rolls not knowing that they refuse to let u take ur leftovers home with you, thus unintentionally wasting good food. The hibachi food was great! The chef put on a great show. The black angel roll was REALLY good! For the food, I highly recommend the place. However the "service", and I use that term very loosely, was BEYOND horrible. We ordered the roll as an appetizer, but we never got it until almost the end of our meal. The two other couples at our table had worse service issues. One never got her kitchen order until we were all but finished with our Hibachi dinners. The other never got her 2nd protein for her combination hibachi, and they tried to give her the missing protein after we were done eating, that was prepared in the kitchen. Neither couple ever got their sushi apps that they ordered. None of us ever got refills on our drinks, we had to go to the bar ourselves for every single refill. In fact, we NEVER saw our waitress again after she took our orders. No joke, she completely disappeared!! We were ghosted, by a waitress!! And this was on a Saturday afternoon at 430, before it was even busy! All three couples spoke to the "manager", another term I'll use loosely. We weren't given any sort of discount off our meal, any offer for a 2nd meal, no offer to try to make things right. We did get lots of laughs and smiles when we gave constructive feedback about our server. We seriously did not bash her, just wanted to provide customer insight to a serious issue. We were told it was our server's 2nd night and she was overwhelmed...not even an apology. I found this insulting. Our dinner check wasn't a $20 bill from Denny's for a couple of grand slams. These were meals that had filet mignon, lobster, shrimp and crab. Also with saki and imported specialty beer.We spent $100 for the 2 of us, so I feel some sort of compensation was definitely warranted. In fact, this is the first time in my life I've never tipped a server, or been at a table where no one tipped the server. Everything we tried we enjoyed very much. The only thing they could use is a veggie option or 2. The only way to get a decent amount of veggie seemed like chicken/beef and broccoli which i dont particularly care for or edamame which, is not for me. Other than that, all good. Our server was fast and attentive. The place wasnt very busy at the time but it was like noon on a Tuesday. Its weird to find if you've never been there as its on the far side of a hotel. Can't be beat for the price! There are 2 main options when you go to Hana's - hibachi side or sit down all you can eat. We tried the hibachi only one time. It was good but not impressive compared to other hibachi I've had in the past. What I truly love about this place is their all you can eat lunch. It is so much better than a buffet because everything is made fresh and brought to your table. No worrying about how long it has sat out or watching others handle the food. You can order multiple items at once. The quality is much better than what you would find on a typical buffet but not as good as you would find if you ordered items individually at a restaurant. However for $12 I have no complaints! We have gone numerous times and never had a bad experience, when busy it can take a while to get your next plate but the servers do their best to get it out to you. read more

My boyfriend and I decided to eat a late lunch at Hana around 3pm on a Sunday afternoon. Because my friends have raved about it for weeks, we were really quite excited. We both ordered the Chicken Teriyaki with fried rice (an upcharge we figured was worth it) which came with soup and salad. The soup ended up being a Beef broth, which was alright, but nothing wonderful. The salad was pre-prepped and still had condensation from the fridge. It was also saturated in dressing (so much so that even the outside of the bowl was covered). As far as our entrees, the chicken teriyaki was precooked and dry, served on a mound of sliced onions with frozen broccoli on the side (still cold and bright green from the bag). Sadly my fried rice featured the same frozen veggies (also cold) and was incredibly greasy. For an extra three dollars, I was sad. Now, a few hours later, we both feel physically ill. I ordered for takeout the Steak and Chicken Hibachi. This meal also came with 3 shrimp, vegetables, noodles, rice, soup and salad. I always order without the rice and a double order of vegables. This meal was Absolutely Delicious! The chicken and steak was so tender, the vegetables were cooked perfectly. The entire meal was seasoned and cooked to perfection. They give you a real nice portion size. It is a little pricey at $24.99 but was excellent! Their dining room isn't open so you have to do takeout. I was stopping here every 3 months, when I was in town for work. Now that I live 40 minutes away, it's every 6wks. The food is great, they aren't unpacking sushi from Weis in the back clearly. The service is dodgy but I've worked out that if you order 5-6 from their menu by number, at once and order 5-6 more when the waitress comes back to refill drinks; you have a steady flow of fantastic food for $25. I've eaten similar food in other cities and towns and paid $90 for it; I'm a buffet buster which usually means a lot bland food for a fixed price. For the money, this place can't be beat. All you can eat sushi and it is made to order. The rolls are good. We used to come here for the hibachi, but now that we understand the deal, go for it! Soft shell crab roll, sashimi, and other specialty rolls on the dinner menu. Normal rolls and no sashimi on the lunch menu. The price does reflect this change. If you eat one order of sashimi, it makes almost makes up the price immediately. The fish is fresh and cut well. Never stringy. The service is average. We have come for the all-you-can-eat at least a dozen times and there has really only been one server who seemed to enjoy what he was doing and made the experience more pleasant this way. Make sure you order 3 or 4 things every time the server comes around. Otherwise, you tend to be waiting a fair amount of time. Also, order well in advance when you have food on your table so that way it will be there when you've finished your current dish. Hot sake is a plus, too. Very good! We will be back. Oh yes. $20 All You Can Eat. Not just sushi, anything from the menu! I have been to a few places like this before, but the food is never as high quality as it was here! Their sushi and sashimi was absolutely delicious and very fresh. We sampled a variety of salads, soups and appetizers as well. The seaweed salad might have been my favorite. Our server seemed very young and very new, but he was trying! We were there on a Saturday, but they also have a lot of specials each day posted on the wall when you go in. I'm normally a fan of Hana. The food is usually good and the entertainment is fun, and you can't beat the combo special. However, the last couple of times I have been have been less than stellar. Saturday night was pretty bad. We had a group of 6, were seated pretty quick (had a reservation) but it then took almost 20 minutes to get drinks (friends who arrived early said the bar was a hot mess). The waitress didn't come back to see if we needed anything else until we were all but finished eating. The hibachi itself must have been too hot, because everything that was put on it almost burned immediately. The chef did next to no entertaining. Everything but my steak was overcooked. Hana is still currently under a take-out only model due to the pandemic and their food was terrible. Our whole family of 5 was not happy with the meal. My sushi roll's rice was hard on the outside like it was made much earlier in the day and it sat poorly covered. Another sushi we had ordered was the same way. It seems the more common rolls are not made to order. My meal the "seafood nest" had absolutely ZERO seasoning. It was just soggy seafood and vegetables in a pool of butter/water. There was no "nest" just plain unseasoned noodles that were half chewy from an attempt at frying them. I received numerous complaints from the rest of my family about lack of flavor and poor execution. No one was able to eat more than a few bites and most of the food ended up in the trash. Absolutely embarrassing at their prices. You are better off at one one of the numerous other Asian restaurants Williamsport has to offer. If you are going to only do takeout at least put effort into doing it right and don't cut corners. I will no longer patronize them even once they decide to check in with reality and open back up for dine-in as every other establishment in the area has managed to safely do. read more

Weate there last night. I'm not sure if it was the waiter or the kitchen but it was not the best experience. He took our drink order then disappeared for a while. When he brought the drinks my wife's was wrong and the ice in mine was mostly melted. My wife got soup and salad that came out in time. My appetizer took a long time. Her entree came out with my appetizer but mine didn't come out until 20 minutes later. She tried to get his attention a few times until I called him loudly and asked if he had put my order in. He brought it out soon but part of it was cold. We noticed that at least 2 of his other tables were having the same problem. We like their food and have been there many times before but this shouldn't happen. Well gave them another chance tonight. Same thing happened with my sushi appetizer. The food tasted wrong and the shrimp in mine was smaller and less of them. We usually get the same thing and tonight didn't come close to before. They must have gotten a new supplier and chefs. The best place to get all you can eat sushi and Chinese food. Place is always clean. Food has that fresh taste and you don't have that sick feeling after eating like you do with other Chinese places. They should either just have a full all you can eat menu or give the customer the option for an up charge. Service is pretty good whenever we have been. It is very understandable that it gets busy and it may take a little longer so I never complain about that. I can not speak on the habachi side because we never have the time to go. The service and entertainment for the hibachi the first time I came was amazing. He was very interactive, humorous, and engaging. My last visit consisted of the chef cooking the food and leaving.
