I love Tokyo steakhouse if you want so good food in Jackson this is where to go it is a little pricey but the amount of food you get for the price is really good and the hibachi is really cool and fun for kids they also have these really cool drinks in a bottle for-any age they have four flavors the service is really good the hibachi people are really friendly they are always trying to start I conversation which is really nice great interaction with everyone the only thing that I don't like is that if you sit in hibachi there is a pretty high chance you will have too sit with someone you don't know so this is what I think about Tokyo steakhouse read more

While Paul and I were driving back from West Virginia via the Appalachian Highway, we found ourselves in Jackson, Ohio, otherwise know as B.F.E., at the dinner hour. To say there are not many dining options in Jackson is a gross understatement. We chose Tokyo Steakhouse based on Yelp reviews and hoped for the best. We were pleasantly surprised by the food. Paul chose the teriyaki steak bento box and I chose the teriyaki chicken bento box. Outside of the obviously store bought teriyaki sauce, the food was good. My chicken was cooked perfectly and served in beautiful thin slices. The California roll and rice were solid, and the shrimp tempura was very good. I really appreciated the variety of vegetables they elected for tempura; the sweet potato was especially nice. The young man who served us did a nice job, and the atmosphere was comfortably casual. This is a great place if you love habachi! The staff there is really nice, and they were really cool with my mom, which was her first time at a habachi place. The food is really nice as well. I had the habachi chicken, and habachi chicken & shrimp and both were very tasty and fresh. The downsides to this place is their sushi wasn't at all impressive. It was just ok. Ive had way better. I got spicy tuna and sweet potato. Its especially not worth it for the price vs. the size of the sushi. The other downside is the space is really small and if the place is busy it can get really uncomfortable. read more

Went in mother's day for the first time ever. We had it reserved for our large group of people. They didn't even have our table ready.They had people seated in our place and made the people move when we showed up. To be honest, they probably should had told us that they didn't have enough room for a party that big. The price is a bit high for the small portions. You get big portions of noodles, rice, and veggies but you get small portions of meat or protein that you order. The cook had forgotten a steak and an order of shrimp. It is a good Japanese place for Jackson. But I think next time I will make the drive to Chillicothe. read more

Sushi in Jackson?!? Combined with a half a** hibachi grill!?! Sure, I'll try it since I'm here. Yea, what I expected. It's OK sushi. If you like grocery store sushi. Not dialed in like a nice sushi restaurant. More like a to go Chinese restaurant. I had to grab my chop sticks from a container on the counter that stocked everything else. Not sure if the hibachi section is designed for people to have a nice night out for dinner or just a quick hibachi meal that is slapped together with quickness. It is what it is, but, a message to the restaurant, do not charge what normal hibachi restaurants or sushi restaurants charge! Your not anywhere near that level and need to price at what it is. Ordered it as take out tonight. Not bad at all. We both ordered hibachi steak and it came with soup, salad with ginger dressing, and we also ordered a side of noodles for my son. I will admit that the ginger dressing was better than most that I've had, wasn't very bitter like most. And the yum yum sauce was delicious. read more

Decent sushi considering the location ... The prices range from $4-$10 for appetizers and $6-$15 for sushi. I would NOT get the crab Rangoon appetizers as the outside wasn't crispy and the inside tasted unappealing . You can get better , somewhere else - not authentic . read more
