A great little place. My bento box was packed with salad, rice, salmon teriyaki, 4 California rolls, and about 8 pieces of vegetable tempura (which seafood-allergic people should know also included 2 large tempura shrimp). The price is reasonable for the amount of food, though considerably higher than some of the older menu pictures posted here - be sure you're looking at a recent one. I took away 1 star because the tempura wasn't fully crispy (though still good) and the restroom is really dated and dingy - it needs a refresh to measure up to the rest of the facility. But still a worthwhile place. I'll be back and bring the husband if he can live without a beer with his dinner, or we'll do takeout - they don't serve it. I'm glad to find a new local option for us. read more

Love this place! This is a great place to have a quick lunch. They are fast and friendly, and the food is yummy!! This is my go-to for a quick snack and to satisfy my sushi cravings. The chicken teriyaki bento box and geisha roll are my favorites here. The bento box is pretty filling and at a great price too! Clean restaurant and it's always so peaceful when walking in. Here's the breakdown Beef bowl - beef texture is hard. Not tender. - we would describe it more like a liver taste. - rice in the bowl was good. It seems to me it got better the the chicken curry bowl was tasty with the right amount of curry to rice ratio with lots of chicken but not much carrots. We tried this place after reading positive reviews...Nice clean restaurant. They don't seem to have menus to read while you wait in line to order! Kind of slows things up. I ordered the teriyaki chicken/spring roll combo. It comes with a "salad" which consists of iceberg lettuce an cucumber. Not bad, not great. The chicken itself was a solid C. Just lacking flavor that I have become accustomed to in Seattle where there is a teriyaki restaurant on every block. The spring roll was not very good. The worst part was, they charge 50 cents for a little cup of extra teriyaki sauce that sort of ruined the overall experience. I just don't get why the owners of places like this are so sort sighted by charging for teriyaki sauce as it it a teriyaki restaurant and most teriyaki restaurants I have eaten at have a bottle of teriyaki sauce on the table. But it seems like their most popular meals are the bentos with tempura and the teriyaki bowls. My review is solely based on the teriyaki meal, my fiancé and I, ordered. We really enjoyed the dressing on the salad, it added a really nice flavor to an otherwise plain side. The teriyaki is decent. As in, what you would come to expect from teriyaki, no more no less. I would rate 6.5/10. The food is made to order so you can customize how you want it made. We didn't change anything from either of our meals but appreciated having the option to do so. My fiance being the teriyaki chicken lover that he is said to me, "The chicken is okay but nothing special." Being that there are so many other options for teriyaki chicken in Visalia; we both ended up comparing it to the other places we've tried and decided it just wasn't up to par. I personally wouldn't stop by again because it's about a 35 minute drive to Visalia and I wouldn't chose this place over my other favorites nearby. Located by the Walmart on Mooney, this spot is snuggled between 2 stores, so you might miss it thankfully.
