Biggest problem: A woman who married an owner--can't remember her name--so is now an owner, herself: called me late in week, saying they would be there Monday. We got everything ready, and waited. Late Monday WE called her! (they didn't show up) She actually said, 'this isn't rocket science, we'll get there sometime'! We asked, "Who exactly are you?". Silence for a couple seconds, then: "I'm one of the owners." "Unbelievable." (was our response to her.) Big problem: They promised stuff to get the sale, and then tell the installer said stuff wasn't included in price. Calling up their office to clear it up, it seemed "Owner Lady" was unhappy that said "stuff" was promised, and then Rich, the salesman, changed his attitude immediately. In fact, he had promised a better exhaust fan, but installer was putting in a weaker fan--so we called Rich up. He told us to buy the better, stronger Promised fan, and he would drop by and repay us. Almost a year later, and several phone calls and promises...we got the picture, Rich! Problem: Installer Dennis--not very good. Sadly, we went with Toledo New Bath--even though they charged us $4000 more than our other bid!! Because we Wanted it done right! The caulk job was horrendous. We examined it and found leakage! Dennis also didn't caulk any of the metal fasteners for the seat and handles--so leaks are occurring there. We have absolutely no Faith in them!! New Bath recently extended into the window business and since there are no reviews, I thought I would document my experience. My review and rating will be updated following the install. I saw New Window Elite's TV commercial and since I was in the market to replace builder grade windows, I gave them a call. New Window Elite was my 3rd quote for 7 standard sized double-hung windows. The window is nice but of my 3 sales pitches, I felt theirs fell in the middle in terms of quality. The salesperson was knowledgeable and answered my questions. Initially, he gave me a quote of $1,100 per window but when I told him I would think about it, he reduced the total cost by $1,000, making it $957.14 per window. As with the quality, the adjusted price fell within the middle of my 3 quotes so I accepted. A contract was signed and I took a picture of all provided documents. Upon further review of the contract, no price was included, meaning we technically don't have a contract. Additionally, articles 1-3 of the contract (out of 7) were not provided. My other 2 quotes were upfront pricing. I wish New Window did the same rather than negotiate. I was told that someone would be out to take exact measurements but as of a week after the contract was signed, nobody has contacted me. My credit card was charged for the agreed upon 50% down. Now, on to my rating. Two stars were removed because I subsequently went to their website and saw that it states that the New Window Elite Price for a double-hung window is $300-$450. The sales pitch stated that installation is included in the price so I have to assume it is on their website as well. If this is the case, their advertising is simply not true. With the exception of 4 mullions (support between the windows), the window sizes are standard and the install will be on a ranch-style home. Nothing unusual. The other 2 companies both quoted me at $50 per mullion so I know they aren't outrageously priced. This review is neither positive nor negative but just a means of sharing my experience to others who are considering using New Window Elite. The order: I had ordered a new walk-in tub to replace the old tub shower, insert window treatment, new flooring, wall treatment, and assistance, putting a new vanity and cabinet in place. The wall treatments were plain paneling, similar to what they used in the shower stall. What I got: What I got was a walk-in tub shower insert with no ceiling, paneling, wall treatments, new flooring, and assistance, putting in the cabinet, vanity and medicine cabinet. We did have a problem with the window treatment as I was in the midst of getting window replacements that was not the installer's fault. First the good: The installer did a very good job with what he had to work with. My only criticism of the installer was that he worked when he wanted to work he would come at all times a day or night. He may start as late as noon and be here as late as 8 PM on more than one day I had to ask him to leave because of how late it was. In the end, I did get a usable bathroom. The Bad: Communication with this company is by far one of the worst I've ever seen. I have gotten better customer service from an airline. There was only one person in the office that had any idea of what was going on and if you did not get her, it would go weeks without hearing from anybody I had to repeatedly call For scheduling issues or to see where the installer might be at if he was running late the communication as I said was just horrible. When I finally got the windows replaced, which occurred last August I had to start calling and I finally got the installer back out here to finish the work that they already been paid for in January of this year. That is how long it took to get the materials and get the installer to my house. Add into that the time it took for communication which meant I never got a return phone call I had to continue calling them just added to that stress. The Ugly: The sales person that came out to do the measurements and talk to us about doing all this work was less than knowledgeable. He had stated that he had been in the business for years and had no problem doing a remodel that we were asking for and gave us a price and wrote everything up What I noted was his chicken, scratch handwriting could hardly be read. The contract was handwriting in the margins, which made it difficult for the installer to read what was going in and what was not the installer had no idea that he was helping us put a cabinet in which meant cutting into a wall The dimensions of the hallway and the bathroom door were wrong so when the installer came to put the tub and they actually had to cut my wall in by 6 inches which was never fixed. It was just covered up with molding. The ceiling panel was never ordered even though that was one of the things we wanted And again the salesman left the installer befuddled by all the work that was being done that the installer had no idea about at least those were the words of the installer. The salesman told us it would be about a three day install and remodel and ended up taking several weeks not to mention. It took over two months just to get the materials which we knew about ahead of time that was no big deal. Overall: as I said, the star did good work and I did get a bathroom. It took a lot longer than I had hoped. I actually cost me another $750 to get the ceiling tile installed. I would use the installer on other projects but I would not order any other projects from this company . read more

First of all this company has been in town for years which should tell most customers that a company does not stay in business in this town if they have not serviced their customers correctly. I know that a company can not survive without good employees. One particular person is Linda Anderson who for years has represented the company with a positive attitude, always willing to help, always receptive to your comments, always very honest, always knowledgeable and most of all extremely pleasant gal to transact business with every time you call or see her at a home show in town or out of town. Terrible service. Promised work to replace shower door to be done in 2 weeks after quote. Actually 6 weeks before fixture was received to be installed. Called multiple times and little to no information ever available by person answering call as to status. Installer finally came to do work and the fixture did not fit. Per installer, person who quoted work did not take all relevant measurements. So, after 6 weeks, still no shower door and was informed that they couldn't even provide the right size at all. Waste of energy. Would not recommend at all. read more
