Toll Road Brewing Company does everything right when it comes to being a local brewery. They have a steady stream of regulars, the beer is top notch, and they are not trying to be pretentious... just good craft beer at great prices. Then venue is intimate on the inside. They have good air which in Florida is a definite plus. And they have an extended outside area which would make this place great for groups. The patrons are friendly and the service is more than inviting. And to be in downtown Ocoee FL, where? If you reproduced this brewery anywhere else in the world, there would be lines wrapped around the block for three or four blocks. Couldn't find a beer I didn't like. Didn't sample them all, but it is clear someone here cares more about the beer they produce than just having taps filled. So very impressed with all of the beer. I had the pleasures of being served by Katie, and she was really the best. She was not over the top, just super mellow and very attentive. I so want to camp out here and spend every weekend with the great beer at Toll Road Brewing Company. The BEER: Sun Ryes rye IPA 7.3% ABV... I can honestly say this is a complex and solid IPA Get off my Lawn Helles Lager 4.7% ABV... this is good, smother once it fully carbonates Liquid Schwartz schwarzbier 5% ABV... I really love this beer, it is everything promised and more Czech's in the Mail pilsner 4.8% ABV... so this is good. Wish they had the long Czech pour, it would elevate. It definitely needs to sit and carbonate, because once that happens, the magic starts. Tripel Lindy Belgian tripel 10.2% ABV... this Belgian is smooth, not boozy and super delicious. One or two only, unless you are having a frat party. To Hefe & Back hefeweizen 5.3% ABV... this is an excellent hefe more citrus in the front, but as it warms it settles down to an almost perfect banana clove experience. This is a great hole-in-the-wall local brew house. They microbrew 14 different beers and also serve wine and cocktails. The bartenders were very knowledgeable and gave us info related to their craft beers. There was a food truck on scene that had a variety of Mediterranean cuisine named Olive and Feta Grill. Their grape leaves were delicious and we also ordered their homemade hummus with pita bread slices. Definitely worth the trip to check this brewing company out! read more

Great spot to hang and enjoy a nice refreshing drink! One nice surprise about this small brewery is that they also make their own alcoholic seltzer! They have a ton of flavors too!! I ordered the Gold Medal Winner Sun Ryes because when you're in the presence of a great beer, you need to indulge! I heard from the bartender that during COVID, the brewers started to get creative and used rye to make the beer. The place itself is really nice with indoor seating, outdoor covered & uncovered seating. Plenty of local beers to try and the staff is great of explaining and/or making a recommendation. It's always great to get local beers! This brewery is located in downtown Ocoee and is definitely a place to go. They brew theirs beers right on site so there usually is something new to try. Every beer we have had so far has been great! There is a wide selection of IPA's, light, dark and so on. The bartenders are fun and awesome and remember their customers by name. They definitely are us want to come back over and over. They have different specials or events throughout the week including unlimited mimosas on Sunday's! Wednesday night is our favorite because it's trivia night. Even though it's so hard to go out during the work week if there is a good trivia we are there! They partner with a local trivia guy and you can win gift cards to the brewery. All in all if you are looking for some local, unique, good craft beer this is a must stop for you! Stop in grab a cold one and chat with the employees. If beer is not your favorite they do have wine as well. I didn't expect much from this brewery when passing by, but I have to admit I was really impressed after stopping in. The place is very small and very much the definition of a hole-in-the-wall. However, I really liked how quaint and low key it was. Not overly noisy or crowded. Very casual and a great place to just relax and have a beer while sitting outside and e joying the beautiful weather. The beer definitely speaks for itself. The two red ales (one was an Irish red with a bit more of a malty finish) were both delicious that I had a hard time choosing which one to try. My fiancé chose a Hefeweizen, and while I'm not usually a fan, I have to admit this is one I would actually order and drink myself. It was refreshing and surprisingly very tasty. Even the blueberry stout was surprising for a stout. It had so much flavor and wasn't overly heavy or thick. I'd love to go back and check out one of their trivia nights. We went to Toll Road Brewing in Ocoee for their trivia night hosted by Tasty Trivia. Downtown Ocoee seems a little sketchy, but the brewery is nice. It was slightly crowded, but we were able to walk right up to the bar where we were wonderfully greeted by the two bartenders. Both were at our service, providing samples of beers as we asked for them. They were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I ended up ordering a blueberry-flavored beer that tasted light and refreshing. Then another, then another. LOL They have a great variety of beers, but I do enjoy the fruity ones. There's no food served, but there was a food truck parked out front the night we were there, so we could easily order from there and bring it to our table to go along with our beer. read more

We stopped in the night the food truck was there which made it easy to have a few glasses and have dinner without making multiple stops. Great partnership. It was just my husband and I there and we tried all but one of the Toll Road brews. All had a great flavor and some uniqueness. There were other brews there from other locations, but it was our first time in and we wanted to keep it to the local beers. We were very pleasantly surprise with the selection and flavors. Stopped in here with my husband on a Sunday afternoon to hear one of our favorite local singers play. One of the owners or brewers was bartending and enthusiastically letting us try all the different beers. We tried a few house specialties - the cream ale being the hands down favorite - and some guest beers. They have a drink called the strudel, which is the cider mixed with the cream ale, and it's exactly as amazing as it sounds. I'm really glad to have found such a cool, small, chill local spot to drink at. It's a really refreshing break from the larger area breweries with kids crawling all over the place and families hogging tables for hours serving the same six beers. I actually saw the beers change at Toll Road twice while we were there. Toll Road is a no frills joint to grab a good beer, listen to some music, eat some tasty food truck food and make friends with a funny bartender. Very friendly staff, great beer, good vibes! My boyfriend and I went to Toll Road Brewing last night and we had two flights. We were a bit disappointed that they did not have a lot of their own beers on tap, but this was due to having a very busy two months and are in the process of replenishing their beer. The three beers that we had from Toll Road were The Crowd Pleaser Kölsch, Le Petomane Pale Ale, and Sun Ryes Rye Beer. The other beers that we sampled were from other breweries and honestly, are not even worth mentioning as we were not impressed. We met the owner Dwayne, and he couldn't have been nicer! He let us sample two beers that he ran out of, but had a few pours available. We absolutely LOVED the Senior Helmet Porter. I am NOT a porter fan by any means, but I was BLOWN AWAY with the taste! I could honestly drink this beer with breakfast in the morning. It tasted like coffee, chocolate, and heaven. We also sampled their Blood Orange which was DELICIOUS! It had a bold citrusy flavor that was very refreshing. The only reason for 4 stars was that they didn't have more of THEIR beer on tap. We will definitely be back, and I will revise my review once I've sampled more of their delicious concoctions. Cheers! read more
