Figure I'd do an update since it's been a while since my last review. I don't really get out to breweries as much as I use to but when I do; this is usually at the top of the list and it's not so much because of the beer but really because their food is a great lunch option. I think they gotta put their best foot forward being that Stasios is just next door. I love their meal deal where you get a sandwich, chips and a pint of one of three beers to choose from. I get their regular house lager which is light and refreshing on a hot day. I had family visiting, and we came out for luch. My brother had the pulled pork sandwich, and mom and I shared the turkey and pesto sandwich. This was such a simple sandwich but so good!! They really know how to make a good sandwich. Also, large enough for both of us to share and be satisfied. Of course; no trip to Sideward brewing is complete without an order of their boiled peanuts. A lot of people order them, and for good reason. I really like the korean spiced flavor, even comes with a sprig of cilantro as a garnish. Every time I come it's a relaxing, laid-back experience with really tasty, but simple food. I Love it, will definitely be back. read more

Food is always great. I never come here without ordering the chicken Caesar wrap. It is truly the best chicken Caesar wrap in all of Orlando. You order at the bar and then you grab a number, the they bring it to your table. If you go on the weekends expect longer wait times, but the vibe is usually pretty casual and easy-going and you can enjoy a few beers while you wait. Word of caution if you go in the later afternoon on the weekends, call them before you go just to make sure they still have the Caesar wraps in stock. I've heard so many things about the caesar wrap at this restaurant that I had to go see for myself what the hype was about. I came on a Tuesday and this place was very busy so I knew it must be for good reason. They had seating outside which is really nice if the weather is nice and you want to meet with friends. I ordered the wrap and got some pints. Everything was fantastic! They have a really nice and unique selection of beers and ales. I'm not much of a beer person but i enjoyed everything I tried. As for the wrap, it definitely lived up to the hype! I would only wish they had a fried option, however, for it being grilled I thought it was fantastic. read more

I came to sideward brewing a while ago to try their ceasar salad wrap. While I wasn't a huge fan of it i loved the vibe of the restaurant so i decided to come back and try some other things and I am so glad I did! I split the pimento grilled cheese, cucumber salad, and French onion dip with my friend! the French onion dip was good and I loved the side of cucumbers and peppers that came with it. The pimento grilled cheese was unreal! Cucumber salad was good but I would definitely try another side. Service was great and they were very helpful in picking out what beer to get. Parking was super easy but can get packed as they share a lot with a few other restaurants. The outdoor seating is super cool. They also host run clubs and have other specials during the week. Amazing place for a good bite and good vibes. You go inside to order and they have a bunch of beer on tap! After ordering you can pick a place inside or outside to sit. Sideward was super chill vibes. They have both inside and outside seating. Seasonal beer and the food was great. Everything was reasonably priced my sandwich with chips was $14. The beer is seasonal so if you love one make sure they have it before you go back or great opportunity to try something new! They also had some beer canned in a fridge so you can buy and take home. I've had the pleasure of visiting Sideward Brewing Co twice. Both times were positive experiences and honestly I think I will be back just based on the homemade root beer alone. I also heavily enjoy their mead, which is extremely smooth and sweet. Perfect to sip on while lounging on their patio. They have a robust food menu, although I have unfortunately not tried any food yet. Main issue to be aware of is that just like all of the businesses in the milk district, parking is tight. Sideward Brewing was our last stop on a brewery tour around the Orlando area, and it was such a great way to wrap up the day. It's a cute little spot just off the main drag. Parking is a bit tight, but absolutely worth the stop. We grabbed a couple of beers and headed out to their spacious outdoor seating area, which was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the weather. We also ordered the Hummus as a snack, and it was fantastic. You could tell it was freshly made--creamy, flavorful, and served with a generous drizzle of olive oil. Parking is super easy with plenty of space, but indoor seating is limited--maybe enough for two parties of five max. Luckily, there's plenty of outdoor seating with a covered patio and ceiling fans, so you can enjoy the Florida sunshine comfortably. This is an order-at-the-bar type of spot--they give you a number, and the food is brought out to you. So don't expect full table service (no waiters or waitresses). The service is quick and everything is made fresh to order, which I appreciated. Bonus: It's pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friends along. Now to the food--I ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap with a side of cucumber and feta salad. * The wrap was so good! Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. They lightly press the tortilla to give it some warmth without making the salad inside soggy. Loved the crunch from the croutons inside the wrap--it's a nice touch, but just a heads up: this could be a choking hazard for small kids or tough for anyone with dental issues. * The grated Parmesan on top was fresh and delicious, but I would've loved more cheese inside the wrap too. (Cheese lovers, speak up when ordering!) * The side salad was disappointing. It was dry and bland--no dressing unless you ask. They only offer Caesar or balsamic on the side, and the balsamic was super watery, not what I expected. The Caesar, however, was solid and definitely tasted house-made. Overall, I'd 100% go back for the wrap but probably skip the cucumber and feta salad next time. Came for lunch on a Thursday around 1PM and it was quite busy, that says a lot for a brewery! Tried the chicken Caesar wrap which has a stellar reputation and it definitely lived up to the hype. Delicious! They offer a $15 meal deal with an entree, side and a pint of beer which I think in this economy is a great deal. Super satisfied. Definitely recommend and will be back! The fact that I have not written a review for this place until now is appalling. Sideward is one of my favorite breweries in Orlando, between the amazing IPAs, food, and close location to home...it's a win for me. Let's talk about the food. I legitimately get a craving almost once a week for the chicken caesar wrap. If you go on any of the Facebook foodie groups, you'll see that's it's being coined as one of, if not THE best chicken caesar wrap in all of Orlando and I will absolutely agree with that. The caesar dressing is delicious in and of itself, but we can't sleep on the fact that there's little baby croutons in there to give it a little extra crunch, as well as the finely shaved parmesan cheese covering the tops of the halves. It's amazing! My second favorite food item to get there is the turkey & pesto sandwich. The sourdough is perfectly toasted for that crunch with heaps of turkey, pesto, arugula, roasted red pepper and mozzarella inside. My friend also loves both of these food items, so if she's with me we will order both the wrap and the sandwich and give each other half. It's a win win! Sideward for me, brews some of the best IPAs in Orlando. I'm a huge hazy fan and right now, the Citra-Anchovy and Yacht Money are hitting for me. You really can't go wrong with any style beer that you choose here. They also have cans of beer to take home if you don't want the party to end after leaving. There are some tables inside, but most of the seating is either outdoors on their patio at 4-tops or larger bench table seating in the parking lot area. It's not the most ideal in the really hot summer months, but they do sometimes put up tents to help shade the tables in the parking lot. read more

We sat outside at one of the 7 or 8 tables next to the entry with more seating available on the level below. I ordered the veggie wrap. It was served warm with roasted carrots, cauliflower, hummus and feta. Very good wrap! I opted for the slaw upgrade and was very happy I did. It was composed of shaved red and green peppers, red cabbage and carrots with a light vinaigrette, slightly sweet and not overly dressed. I'm visiting from California, and honestly, Sideward Brewing might be the best discovery of my entire trip. I'm almost annoyed by how good it is because now I have to go home and live without it. The drink selection is top-tier,super creative and well-balanced,but the food is what really blew me away. I had the Banh Mi, and it was easily the highlight of my week. Usually, when the beer is this good, the food is an afterthought, but they're clearly firing on all cylinders here. Plus, the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality you're getting. I'm seriously wishing they'd open a location out west so I could be a regular. If they don't, I might actually have to consider moving to Florida just to stay within striking distance of that menu. I went to try the chicken Caesar salad wrap. They told me they don't have the Parmesan garnish which was disappointing but I still went through with my order because they assured me the Caesar dressing was house made and I'm a huge fan of "real" Caesar dressing. I also got a side of cucumber salad and a pineapple upside down beer. The wrap was bland and the dressing didn't taste house made at all. The cucumber salad was good and it had feta which I loved. This is probably my favorite brewery in the Orlando area. My husband and I first were brought to this place by a friend over a year ago. Since then, we have been back a handful of times for both beers and food. When you think of a brewery, you think classic but unique beer flavors. You don't necessarily think about their food menu. I'm not the biggest drinker, so let me tell you - I think about their food menu. Since coming here, we'd had the pleasure of having a pretzel, the charcuterie, the Mac & cheese, the Rachel, the cesear wrap, and the BLT. & never has it been a disappointment. If I had to choose, though, I truly believe their BLT is one of the best I have ever had in my life. It is crispy, thick bacon, fresh arugula, and a garlic mayo. I typically get mine without tomatoes, but I've seen how big the tomato slices are on others. It's also on this freshly cut sourdough bread that ties into the sandwich flavors so well. As for beer options, I got the substation- which was alright to me but again I'm not a huge drinker anymore. My husband really loved the space wizard. They have a great outdoor seating area and it has a really cool vibe of just laid back people. I like that if there's no seats, people often who don't even know each other share tables. Every brewery needs that type of option. It's dog friendly, which is great because it's a place we can just hang out and bring our pets too. The only downfall is the parking. There aren't very many spaces, but it has never shyed us away from coming because all of the positives outweigh that simple negative. read more

The bartenders were both very nice and informative which helped my group make decisions quickly. I've been here a couple of times for a craft beer off to pick up a four pack. This was my first time getting a full meal. We were exploring the pop up market and realized we needed to find something for lunch. We got the cheese board and French onion dip for the table. I got the vegetarian wrap and my guest got the breakfast burrito. The cheese board was more involved and had more options than we expected. The dip was lovely and came with delicious fresh vegetables. My wrap was excellent! I loved the roasted veggies inside! My guest loved her massive breakfast burrito. The waiter was very kind in explaining the cheeses on the board and giving a little backstory about the brewery. The dining space is pretty good size for the location.
