His crew did an exceptional job at a very reasonable price and better than any Tree Service that I've ever had in the nine years I've been doing this. Called Tom out to remove tree roots from 4 neighbors trees that grew into my yard. Cost was $500 and seemed reasonable. Crew came out and removed the roots from two of the trees and left without a word. Called Tom Day and asked if the other roots could be removed. He came out a week later and dug out several roots himself from remaining trees. He then left with out a word. Considering the size of the Roots removed (I'm certain there are more left) and the fact I had to clean up after after them, and there was also no communication to us as to if the job was complete or not. I do not consider the job to be complete. I would not recommend Tom Day for this type of work. read more

This guy came over and gave me an estimate of $400 to remove a fallen tree with stump. Although he could see clearly that the stump was out of the ground, he included removal of the stump in the estimate. I went with another service for half that. Tom Day said it would take a week to remove the tree. The other company did it in an hour for $200 bucks. read more

I have used Tom Day Tree Service for the past 19 years. His price is always fair and his crew leaves the place better then they found it. He has removed trees and has planted trees for me. His crew came today to trim a huge Chinese Flaming Elm tree in my back yard and some removal of small shrubs and tree trimming and root cutting. The crew is polite and efficient. Some of the branches fell into the neighbor's yard and they cleaned that up too. Other tree crews have come by soliciting business and have referenced "we have trimmed your trees in the past" to which I quickly reply, "No you haven't as I only use Tom Day Tree Service. read more

These guys are top notch. Quick, and efficient. Tom, the owner has outstanding communication. My job was put off a few weeks for some issues on my end and Tom was more than understanding with my issue. He communicated very well throughout letting me know of his availability. Once the guys got here I showed them what needed to get done and they were done within 2 hours. They ground all my stumps, and trimmed my tree. The tree looks fantastic and they paid attention to the fine details. Cleaned up after themselves and even had me to a final "walk through" to make sure everything was taken care of. In March 2018 Tom's crew trimmed more fronds off my palm tree than what Tom and I discussed. (Tom did not come out with the crew that day and I neglected to watch as they trimmed.) When I complained, he told me the crew mistakenly gave my tree a "commercial" trim (which lasts longer,) but he offered to trim my tree this year for free. I called this month and Tom was good to his word. His crew came out lickety-split and did a great job. No charge, as promised. read more

This is the second time I have used Tom Day Tree Service for tree removal and trimming at our industrial buildings. Yes, you may find someone cheaper, but you need a crew that knows how to properly trim trees properly, so they don't kill them. (We used a budget service at home many years ago that "topped" a tree and killed it - cost me more to remove it than it would have been using a knowledgeable crew.) Communication was straightforward and professional. They performed the work as promised and left the job site clean and tidy. Our yard is looking better than ever. They bring their own removal equipment so there are no messy tree trimmings leftover. I called Tom Day about three months ago to plant three shade trees in my backyard and two plum trees on the side of the house. he came out personally and gave me a very reasonable estimate. His crew came out and were very courteous and professional. They did everything exactly the way I wanted! Tom Day himself called me The next day to ask me if I liked the work. Tom day tree service is the best out there. We had a 60 foot pine tree about 60 or 70 years old. They removed it and did the best job ever. The workers never stopped and we're so experienced that we just watch them all day. Not only did they do a great job but they cleaned up afterwards and left the property looking wonderful. We had a 50 foot palm tree trimmed that hadn't been done in years. I called around for estimates and Tom Day's price was very reasonable. He was prompt with his estimate and scheduling the service.
