JJ and associate came out quickly and made me feel really comfortable. There was no weird upselling (I wanted something really plain) and no fear mongering. I could tell immediately that we were going to go with Rock N Block so I cancelled my other appointment with a different company and put my deposit down right away. Within hours, JJ had the plans to me and I got the HOA paperwork started. Once that was done, I was scheduled immediately to have my yard worked on. The day of, the workers came, did a final measurement and got to work. It took 3 days but it came out exactly like I was promised and had envisioned myself. The workers were extremely friendly and self contained. They were responsible and trustworthy. They were also very concerned with my happiness. They asked me if things were looking good quite a few times. They literally made my yard perfect. I'm still looking for imperfections and cannot find them. If there were any complaints, the communication could be more but to be honest, they give information and don't feel the need to consistently remind you, which is also good. We did have a small hiccup where the workers didn't know they had to install a few other things but JJ made it right immediately and I can only be happy about that. I'd rather have the problem be solved immediately then get a phone call being told it would be done, although I can see how some people would want both. Pricing was fair in my opinion. NX Level helped me get my HOA paperwork together and did some mock ups to supply. They also photocopied brochures and information on colors/styles so the HOA wouldn't come back to me with more questions. The day before the job Craig and I picked up all the plants from the nursery so those could be set where I wanted them. The team thorough with measuring, spray painting locations and details so location was important for my vision. The team worked very hard on my project, and paid attention to detail on my pavers. They were able to lay 2 types (front and back yard) and 2 colors in the backyard (Holland style). They planted many trees and shrubs, and set up the irrigation on multiple valves to ensure even watering and hopefully a long life for my plants! They laid turf, which is perfectly flat and stretched. They built a step up patio, and included under step lighting, tree lighting and walkway lighting. The vision was simple; I needed a retaining wall to manage the slope. Instead of settling for a plain wall and planter, I wanted to actually use the space. When I brought up the idea of adding some type of seating, Craig immediately expanded upon the vision with his professional expertise, and executed brilliantly. The result turned out looking better than I had imagined; more thoughtful and visually dynamic than what other landscapers proposed. Some companies said they wanted to leave out the inclusion of plants because of the desert climate and offered to install them at a later month. With NX Level, the task was no issue. Craig procured a variety of decorative plants that complemented the plants that I chose at the nursery. He even added extra! Originally, I chose grey pavers with a charcoal border. Craig's team made a decision to leave out the charcoal pavers because this specific batch wasn't dark enough, which was a smart call to keep the design cohesive. The turf looks incredibly real, and the colours of the pavers and patio cover came together perfectly. Trusted the process, and the end result was still amazing. You can tell that Craig and his team, shoutout Armando, take pride in their craft. We added a mesh to our gate and I noticed my tiny Yorkie can still slip through. Craig offered to install something to cover that space of the gate opening to keep the dog from going out, truly going above and beyond.
