About to start Lasik! (Contoura Vision Lasik)
    Jean Y.

My husband and I both got lasik done back in Sept 2019. We upgraded to the Contoura which is 20/15 vision, newer machine and has more lasers! A lot of my friends has gone to Dr. Tooma before and also my sister got it done the year before we did. Husband had to come back for his right eye touch up because he was so right eye dominant. That was not an extra charge. All the staff members and doctors were friendly and great! I would definitely recommend this place for lasik! And lasik was one of our best decisions! You won't regret it!

Would have never been able to be a pilot without PRK!

From the moment I met him during my consultation, I felt confident that I was in excellent hands. He took the time to answer my questions and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Everyone in the office was incredibly helpful, supportive, and attentive, guiding me through both the preparation and post-operative stages. The day of surgery was very well organized, making the experience smooth and stress-free. My recovery was surprisingly quick and virtually painless. Most importantly, I am very happy with my results. I am grateful to Dr. Joseph and his team for their professionalism, care, and outstanding work.

I cannot recommend Dr. Jeffrey Joseph highly enough…read more I first came to Dr. Joseph a few years ago because I was unhappy with the appearance of my under-eye area. Before finding him, I had been told by other providers that filler was the answer for the unevenness under my eyes. Unfortunately, it only made things worse. After consulting with Dr. Joseph, I finally understood that what I actually needed was a lower blepharoplasty--not filler. That surgery completely refreshed my appearance while still looking incredibly natural. Friends would tell me I looked well-rested, and I honestly felt like I looked 10 years younger. As I approached 43, I noticed my upper eyelids had begun resting on my lash line. My eyes constantly looked tired, and my makeup routine had gone from about 7 minutes to nearly 30 because I was trying so hard to make my eyes look more open and awake. I knew it was time to go back to Dr. Joseph for an upper blepharoplasty. Just like my first experience, everything was exceptional. His office is one of the most organized and caring medical practices I've ever worked with. The communication before, during, and after surgery was incredibly thorough, and they made me feel supported every step of the way. They even surprised me by sending a beautiful bouquet of flowers to my home after surgery--a thoughtful gesture that perfectly reflects the kind of practice they run. The surgery itself was far easier than I had imagined. I was much more nervous than I needed to be. I never even needed Tylenol afterward, and my recovery was remarkably quick. By day eight, I looked almost completely normal. I'm now seven weeks post-op, and people constantly ask me if I've done something different because I look younger. I always happily tell them about Dr. Joseph. One thing I've realized is how many women in their 40s don't even know what blepharoplasty can do. The funny thing about your 40s is that you still feel like you're in your early 30s, but sometimes the mirror doesn't reflect how youthful you actually feel. I work hard to take care of myself through diet, exercise, and a healthy lifestyle, and Dr. Joseph's work helped my outside finally match how I feel inside. I don't look "done"--I simply look like the best version of myself. Beyond his incredible surgical skill, Dr. Joseph has one of the best bedside manners of any physician I've ever met. He immediately puts you at ease and has such a warm, approachable, caring personality that it feels like you've known him for years. While many plastic surgeons perform eyelid surgery, Dr. Joseph has dedicated his career exclusively to oculoplastic surgery. That level of specialization matters. The eyes are the focal point of your face, and achieving a natural result requires tremendous expertise. I've personally seen blepharoplasty results from surgeons who don't specialize in eyelids, and the difference is obvious. Dr. Joseph's results are elegant, balanced, and beautifully natural. Finally, I have to recognize his incredible staff. From the front desk girls, to Jennie (his right-hand gal), to his wonderful surgery coordinator, every single person is kind, welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making your experience a positive one. If you're considering eyelid surgery, I truly cannot recommend Dr. Jeffrey Joseph and his team enough. It was one of the best investments I've ever made in myself, and I would choose him again without hesitation.

From my initial consultation through surgery and every follow up visit, the entire experience was exceptional. Everything was organized, efficient, and professional. Dr. Feinerman and his staff treated me with kindness, respect, and genuine care, and I always felt well informed and completely at ease. Looking back after 10 years of excellent vision, I knew I wanted the same level of expertise and care when it was time for my next procedure. When I recently learned that I needed refractive lens exchange (RLE) surgery, I never considered going anywhere else. Returning to Dr. Feinerman after 10 years was an easy decision because of the confidence and trust he earned during my first experience with him. My preoperative appointment was incredibly thorough. Dr. Feinerman performed a comprehensive examination, carefully reviewed my results, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. He made sure I knew exactly what to expect, and his knowledge, experience, and attention to detail immediately put me at ease and reinforced that I had made the right decision. I had my first RLE surgery yesterday, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Seeing Dr. Feinerman before and after the procedure was incredibly reassuring, and my postoperative appointment today confirmed that everything is progressing as expected. Because my experience has been so positive, I have already scheduled surgery for my other eye. What truly sets Dr. Feinerman apart is not only his exceptional surgical skill but also the confidence he inspires in his patients. He never rushes through appointments and takes the time to answer every question thoroughly, ensuring you feel comfortable every step of the way. His professionalism, meticulous approach, and commitment to achieving the best possible outcome are evident in every interaction. His office staff deserves recognition as well. They are welcoming, organized, efficient, and always willing to help. Every interaction has been very pleasant, and every appointment has been handled professionally and efficiently. Your vision is priceless, and choosing the right surgeon is one of the most important healthcare decisions you'll ever make. Dr. Feinerman combines exceptional surgical expertise with integrity, precision, experience, and genuine compassion. He is the kind of surgeon who makes you feel confident from your very first consultation and continues to earn your trust every step of the way. After trusting him with my eyes twice over the past 10 years, I can say without hesitation that I would recommend him to my own family and closest friends. If you're looking for an experienced, skilled, and compassionate eye surgeon, you can feel confident knowing you're in the hands of someone who is dedicated to excellence and committed to providing outstanding care from your first consultation through your final follow up. I'll be back to update this review after my second surgery and let everyone know how everything turned out. Based on my experience so far, I couldn't be happier with my decision to trust Dr. Feinerman with my vision.

He also had very limited appts since he is the OG in eye procedures! My patient Liason was Jennfier, who is a total sweetheart. Dr. Tooma was awesome in explaining why he recommended EVO ICL over lasix. He was also one of the original surgeons who brought all this technology to California. Now I can see why my ophthalmologist wanted me to specifically see him. I decided to go with his recommendation since he is the expert. Pre-op procedures were very extensive, which I don't mind at all. I opted to purchase the medicated eyedrops through them. The procedure itself was at a different location nearby. One saved my life. Another relieved years of chronic pain and gave me back a quality of life I had almost forgotten was possible. Dr. Lang now joins that very small and distinguished group. Not because my cataract surgery was life-saving or dramatic, but because he and his team delivered something equally meaningful: exceptional skill combined with kindness, professionalism, and an ability to make a potentially frightening experience feel comfortable and even enjoyable. From the moment I entered the surgical suite, I felt completely at ease. The procedure was entirely painless, and I was amazed at how calm and relaxed I remained throughout. I never imagined I would describe eye surgery as enjoyable, yet that is exactly how I felt. Dr. Lang and his assistants treated me with genuine warmth and respect. Their confidence inspired trust, and their compassion made all the difference. I will always be grateful to the surgeons who changed my life in profound ways. I am equally grateful that, when it came time for my cataract surgery, I was fortunate enough to be in the care of Dr. Lang and his remarkable team. Like many people, I was nervous beforehand. Having surgery on my eye sounded intimidating, and despite being assured that the procedure would be painless, I still had my doubts. Dr. Lang and his assistants immediately put me at ease with their calm professionalism, confidence, and genuine concern for my comfort. The procedure itself was completely painless... that is something that still amazes me. I was relaxed throughout and even found the experience enjoyable. I remember seeing beautiful hues of the colors blue, yellow, magenta, and brilliant white... all of which made the surgery feel almost surreal in the best possible way. What stands out most to me is how well coordinated and caring the entire team was. Every assistant was friendly, reassuring, and highly skilled. I always felt safe and well cared for. Dr. Lang combines exceptional surgical expertise with a bedside manner that inspires confidence and trust. I could not have asked for a better experience, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Lang and his team to anyone considering cataract surgery. Thank you, Dr. Lang and everyone who assisted in my care. You transformed what I feared would be an ordeal into an experience I will remember fondly.

Deciding to change my optometrist to save money, I found this place on Google Maps and was pleased…read moreto see that there was an optometrist close to my work. Intending to get a contact lens exam with glasses (if automatically included), I decided to call Dr. Tran's cell phone number. The next day, I got a text back from him, and we texted back and forth to set up an appointment the day after. For my appointment on 02/06/2025, I came into Dr. Tran's office after work around 6:30 p.m. We agreed that I would try CooperVision contact lenses, which I have never tried before, since I have been a loyal Alcon (and Bausch + Lomb) customer since I started wearing contact lenses. He was very quick and efficient with administering the vision exam. Although I felt like it was a rush, I was not too concerned about the accuracy since I felt that my prescription had little to no change. Thankfully, there was no change to my prescription. I ordered the contact lenses to be delivered to his office and paid $470 for them plus the exam with a credit card, and I was given an invoice, receipt and $200 rebate voucher. On 02/24, I wondered if my contact lenses came yet and thought that perhaps the doctor forgot about them, so I decided to text him to see if they were delivered yet. He told me that he would let me know, so I waited until 03/03 to ask him again. He replied that he would check by going to his office. A few days later, I started to get worried and asked him again if he saw my contacts, and he replied the next day saying that he was trying to figure out what happened to them, and since the rebate was supposed to be submitted no more than 60 days after the purchase date, he would make up the rebate date. I reluctantly acknowledged his response, but I was still worried. It was extremely stupid and irresponsible of me, since I did not notify him that I would do such a thing for fear of making him upset, but I called my bank on 03/07 and disputed the payment I made on the day of my appointment. I did not want him to find out, but I felt that he eventually would and hoped that it would be after I would get my contacts, and then I would try to cancel the dispute, so we would pretend that this never happened. About a week after opening the dispute, I saw that my transaction was reversed to my relief but felt bad that I did such a wicked thing without telling Dr. Tran, but I just wanted to make sure that I would get what I paid for. Then, I honestly made an appointment with another optometrist that was close to my home with the intention of getting a contact lens prescription and year's supply of contacts. By chance, Dr. Tran texted me on 04/04, which was very thankfully before my appointment, to tell me that my contacts came. I replied to him that I would pick them up, and we agreed that I would come the next day. (I also asked him if I could get a copy of my prescription since I was not sure if he wrote me one the day of my appointment or if I misplaced it.) When I went there, he had 7 of the 8 boxes, and he explained why it took so long, and I believe he told me that he was trying to find the boxes that matched my prescription in his inventory. He told me that he owed me the last box, which he would order. Unexpectedly, he requested that I pay the amount that I originally paid, and I realized I got caught and played dumb, asking him if I did not pay him that amount already since I did. He asked me if I called my bank, and I was a bit shocked and dismayed, at a loss of words. I admitted to him that I did since I got worried that I would not get my contacts, feeling extremely bad for deceiving him and ashamed of myself. He told me that my bank called him to ask him if it was OK to reverse the payment I originally made, and he agreed with the intention that once I received my contacts, I would make the payment again. He knew the whole time what I was up to without letting me know. I paid the same amount again and was given another invoice and receipt with the same rebate voucher as well as the prescription, and I apologized to him multiple times. Later over text, I told him that I intended to un-reverse my payment when I get my contacts and hoped that he would not know what happened but expected that he would. (If he would find out, I still hoped he would after my payment would be un-reversed.) Finally, on 04/15, Dr. Tran told me that my last box of contacts came, and I picked them up. He handed it to me just when I came in, and I left without so much as more than a goodbye, justifiably so since I pulled the rug under him without warning. From this whole experience, I learned to be patient and communicative, especially when it comes to essential matters such as this. It is always best to communicate your intentions before doing them especially in business. Because of my actions, I felt like I lost his trust of me. I hoped that I really learned my lesson and can apply it to the rest of my life.
