Dr. Kline is a ROCK STAR. He is good at what he does and is highly regarded in his field. He shows compassion to his patients, listening to their needs and concerns. On top of that, he checks in with them to see how they are feeling and where their headspace is. For me, on top of the given skills and experience, a doctor who makes time to connect with patients stands out in my book. I have dealt with poor eyesight my entire life, so there is essentially no room to mess with. Previously left a one star review then deleted it, and after giving this office a second chance. I'm sorry to give another one star review. You can't get an appointment here unless you call at minimum a month in advance. I mentioned I would be a potential new patient, for a pretty significant stye/Chalazion on my right eyelid. I was told that I couldn't get an appointment until mid August. When I asked if there was any availability for patients with on-going significant issues, again I was told a month. I expressed how disappointed I was, and the phone operator didn't really show much sympathy. The whole experience just rubbed me the wrong way. My cataract surgery in both eye's went so smoothly within a two week period that I could hardly believe it. I came to Dr. Kline, as a 2nd opinion, because i was told I have Anatomical Narrow Angles by one other Opthamologist. I went to two more Opthamologists who both told me that Dr. Kline was incorrect, and I do have that condition in which I needed an LPI procedure immediately. So, in the end, three Opthamologists told me that I indeed have Anatomical Narrow Angles, while Dr. Kline told me the complete opposite and was told not to worry about that. I think I trust the three other Board Certified Opthamologists who gave me this unfortunate diagnosis. I certainly do not recommend Dr. Kline. Dr. Kline is a great ophthalmologist. He is very caring, expert and thorough. I had a bad experience with a botched cataract surgery at another practice and went to him looking for help. Dr. Kline diagnosed the problem and for the first time I understood what was wrong. He then referred me to a great specialist who repaired my eye. I have been seeing Dr. Kline ever since. He inserted punctal plugs in my eyes and has greatly alleviated my discomfort from dry eyes. I'm just sorry I didn't know to go to him for my cataract surgery in the first place. I met Dr. Kline 5 yrs ago when he started his care of my husband who still sees Dr. Kline as my husband has a more complicated eye issue. I was so impressed with him then that I decided when the time came he would be the one to take care of my cataracts. Doctor Kline is a wonderful ophthalmologist. He is honest, thorough, and gets straight to the point when discussing eye related issues. My mother has been seeing him for years (reasons unknown), and kvells over how wonderful he is, so I decided to make an appointment to see him. I had to make an appointment months in advance to see him, and it was well worth the wait. His service staff from front desk to his technicians are very friendly and kind. They are also great at following up with you in a timely fashion (if you have questions or concerns.) When you're in doctor Kline's exam room, he makes you feel at ease and informs you of everything that he's doing. He is also very qualified and will take great care of you. I recently left negative feedback on Dr. Kline. I was having problems with both my eyes. I called up to make an appointment to see Dr Kline and the receptionist said she would check with Dr. Kline. She came back and said Dr. Kline was too busy to see me and would I see another doctor in their office. I said no, I was not interested in another doctor. As it turned out Dr. Kline never got the message. He recently called to apologize to me and told me if ever I have any problems in the future to ask to speak to him personally. I am a 76 year old retired physician with type 2 diabetes and polyneuropathy. I was going blind from my over mature cataracts that many ophthalmologists were too afraid to remove because they considered me to be an extreme risk for the surgical procedure. At this point, my vision was progressively worsening where even the strongest glasses were of no value. Fortunately,I was able to to see the finest and most thorough ophthalmologist in Dr. Daniel Kline. After his very thorough and comprehensive evaluation he was able to schedule the surgery to remove my cataracts and implant a intra ocular prosthetic lens. His office, the surgical center and all employees were so thorough, empathetic, and genuinely concerned for my well being and surgical success. I now can see better and clearer than my childhood years. I can't say enough to about Dr. Kline's overall superiority, medical excellence, and overall care he delivered. He is a doctor's doctor and ophthalmologist's ophthalmologist !! He is, by far, the finest, if not the best ophthalmologist in our country. I had an appointment to have glasses fitted. I was called and had Diana go with me to see Skye, the girl that fits glasses. I tried several pairs of glasses & chose a steel-rimmed glasses frame. Then I also wanted a pair of prescription sunglasses. Skye mentioned to us that if I didn't like the glasses to bring them back within a month. So Diana paid $933 for both pairs. Thank you Diana! Two weeks after I picked up the glasses my pair of regular glasses broke. Diana called Skye to tell her my glasses broke and that I was not happy with the glasses. I told Skye that I wanted Diana's money back. She said that she would have to ask Dr. Kline if I could get Diana's money back. The answer was no, but that they would fix them if I returned them. I said that I would not return them to have them fixed. My insurance investigated the situation and they got a different story. So I'm looking for another eye specialist. End of story. Always feel rushed and frustrated. Medical office way to large for personal attention...... especially for eye surgery.

I had one consultation with Dr. Kline, and had to wait a significant amount of time in the waiting room despite having an appointment. I believe this is due to the fact that Dr. Kline is "double booked," as told to me by the office staff. During this consultation for cataract surgery, I was informed that I should receive the procedure soon (at least on my left eye) as my sight has been heavily affected and cataracts only get worse over time. However, I've experienced twice already my appointments being cancelled with very short notice, with the reason being that "Dr. Kline won't be in the office." When I call to reschedule, there are so few availabilities, which is frustrating because there are multiple steps to have this procedure completed (consultation - measurements - surgery date for one eye). When I rescheduled my appointment for eye measurements, I was informed that there probably wouldn't be any surgery dates available for the next month, and because of the time gap in between the initial consultation and surgery, I would have to get my eyes dilated and checked again, which would require me to ask someone to take time off work again to drive me back from the appointment. I think it is a given that the lack availability indicates that Dr. Kline is in high demand, and truly must be an excellent health provider. The interaction I had with him was quaint and informative, and I don't doubt his expertise at all. However, I am tired of waiting for months for this procedure due to HIS appointment cancellations. Additionally, they will not provide any cost breakdowns for the procedure until eye measurements are completed, which I find very unhelpful to patients who are trying to seek out the best yet most affordable care for their eyes. What if I waited all this time and got my measurements completed, only to find out I can't afford the surgery? There are many competent cataract surgeons in the area who use the latest technology and are fully transparent of their costs from the get go. read more

I arrived at the doctor's office about half an hour ahead of my appointment time with all documentations filled out and ready to go. The staff promptly took me to the back for an initial exam and review of medical history. Being to many doctor's office lately, I have to say Dr. Kline and his staff truly uses their time well. At any given moment all of the exam rooms are occupied with a patient and the staff. Dr. Kline thoroughly gives verbal directions for the staff to work on with the patient while he addresses another. The office is nice and clean and the staff is very polite and helpful. Given this is my first visit at an ophthalmologist, I have to say Dr. Kline ran at least 15 different types of tests before coming to a conclusion and made very usely suggestions! I love Dr Klein and his staff, especially Skye who works in the optical shop. Recently my mother's glasses were lost at her board and care. it's very difficult to get her to the doctors office. Granted the glasses were not our preferred style, but we were desperate and I did not want to spend a lot of money. WOW! I was in a car accident as a passenger and the Air Bag went off and I have irritation and blurry vision in one eye. I just called this doctors office. Believe it or not this doctors policy is that he will not take patients in a car accident claim. Hard to believe. I asked is it just the doesn't want to get involved with injuries from a car accident and the lady who answered the phone said, 'Yes". She made other hard to follow comments about not wanting to get involved in litigation and would not communicate with an insurance company and would not provide a medical report. She did mention that he does perform the role of expert witness in other cases when he is hired by an attorney. I was just trying to get my eye and vision checked out. So I can't tell you if he is good or not but if you are in a car accident and your eyes are affected, this doctor is not the one to call. read more
