Another amazing carry out! How can pepperoni be so simple and yet taste so good?! We also tried two salads that were wonderful!

Top to bottom: Margherita pizza, Veggie pizza.

First time coming in, was blown away by the smell from the kitchen. Open concept so you can definitely tell when your pizza is almost ready. Topping ingredients were fresh and the crust was done perfectly. Amazing crunch and flavor. Service was great and fast with our arancini appetizer. Amazing spot if you're looking for a local pizza joint.

The service was great and pretty efficient! We ordered take out so I'm not sure how the ambiance was. Overall the food was tasty, however, it should be noted that most of the food was missing something. The elote pizza was delicious, but there wasn't something about the pizza that was missing, maybe just some sort of acidity. The risotto balls were delicious, but outside of just the fried and cheese it just seemed to fall flat. The last pizza was a good standalone, but I think it needed much more balsamic glaze for more differentiating taste within the pizza. Again, not bad overall, I'd give it a try.

MiYork has fresh subs that are prepared to perfection. I got the Primo and it was delicious. The bread was fresh, lettuce was green and lush, not wilted, and the onions were crisp. There was a substantial amount of meat on the sub. I also got the garlic knots which were hot, soft, and tasty. Comes with marinara. The man working there couldn't have been nicer and brought our food out to us.

Garlic knots. Looks like Pillsbury crescent dough with some additives. Lacking flavor. Disappointing.

So, we've lived in this area for years. This location has changed many different times, and MiYork is the newest to take it's place. Another pizza place. This isn't intended to be a bad thing, I love my pizza! The good; 1) The pizza taste is excellent. The ingredients do indeed taste on the fresher side. 2) Short wait time. I ordered Friday dinner time and it was ready within 30 minutes 3) Friendly workers! 4) Good Sauce - This is so hard to find these days. The bad; 1) The pictures posted a while ago are no longer comparable to what you get NOW. More on this later. 2) The price is a tad bit on the premium side. But I can forgive this MOSTLY. 3) Appearance. You know the saying you eat with your eyes first. This holds true here. Everything LOOKED the same. Nothing stellar making it stand out. (partially my fault, but it still stands) Now the order; 1) Margherita pizza - The wife LOVES her Margherita pizza and it takes a decent amount to disappoint her. However, the pizza left her wanting. There was little basil, no additional mozzarella (the old pictures show lots of FRESH basil and mozzarella rounds browned under the over) and just tasted "bland" to her. Picture attached to show what we received. Easy to see the massive difference. 2) Six Cheese Pizza - This is why I said it was partially my fault everything looked the same,... it's a cheese pizza. If you added some flecks of basil these pizza's would look nearly identical. The pizza itself had a nice taste and a good blend of cheeses. It is my personal fault I didn't realize it had Blue Cheese, but it honestly could barely be tasted. 3) Garlic Knots - These were actually disappointing. They held the appearance of Pillsbury's crescent rolls with some flakes of garlic and red chili flakes. Not much flavor here AT ALL. 4) Five Cheese Stuffed Bread - The star of the show in our opinion. To call it stuffed bread is a bit weird when it's appearance STARTED as that of just a calzone with extra cuts. But whatever, it tasted great Now for the difficult part. Was it worth the $50 (pick up, "support local fee" which wtf, and no tip obviously). Yes and no. I don't think I'll order the knots or the Margherita again. But we might try their other items. Especially since it's just across the street. Weirdly,... It just tastes like a new "chain" that arrived and is trying to fill a hole that wasn't empty.

They offer plenty of fresh and tasty choices for a quick meal or takeout. The pizza was amazing--thin, flavorful, and made with fresh ingredients. The place was clean and had seating available. And those truffle fries? Delicious! Awesome service too!

Really good pizza, but expensive. Medium pepperoni pizza was $33. Similar Dominoe's was $22. Quality was better but maybe not $11 worth.

Had reservations but you can still walk in most evenings. Nice size table with plenty of room for food but small enough for everyone to talk to others. Quiet enough to hear even with an filled dining room. More fancy than other national Italian restaurants. I ordered my normal which is a pizza, pineapple and ham with extra sauce. I talked the pizza up and the person next to me decided to try one and was very happy she did. The rest ordered a mix of pasta dishes, salmon and a pasta salad. Of course we enjoyed their famous bread that had to be refilled. The major problem was the service. What started as a little slow went to not checking after the meals was brought out by 2 other servers. One person didn't get his pasta salad until I flagged down another server and explained what happened. The missing salad was quickly brought out and our drinks refilled by that kind server. Our normal server quickly showed up when she saw what was happening. Even with the problem with our service most of us look forward to coming back.

A friend was babysitting for us tonight and we finally got to try it ... it definitely lived up to my expectations! We started off with the smoked Old Fashioned for my husband - $45 so a bit pricey, but the presentation was super nice - and a cocktail for me. We got the tableside Caesar salad - again pricey, $20 per person and if it's for two people you can get it tableside (which was REALLY cool btw) but if for 3+ people I don't think you can. They literally roll out this huge cart to make it though and it was pretty neat. I had the mushroom pasta with filet mignon tips and it was great; my husband had the sausage pasta which I also liked. We weren't planning on getting dessert (I think, haha - I was pretty full, at least), but we got the tiramisu and the tiramisu drink for my husband (I was driving). Both were very good - the tiramisu isn't large by any means but is enough for 1-2 people. The drink comes with a huge ladyfinger on top. Overall I was very impressed by the food, atmosphere, and waitstaff here - it's not an inexpensive place ($40 for two salads is a bit pricey!) but everything was fabulous, and I definitely want to return at some point. There's also a wine bar next door, I believe, and I didn't know that Prime 29, Nara, and a few other local restaurants are all in the same restaurant group/ownership as Aurora.

Luckily it lived up to the hype and my expectations! It's a carryout place, FYI, with a few chairs for waiting if you walk in and order which is what I did. They do have online orders, which I tried to do ahead of time, but my card was being dumb so I decided to just swing by and order IRL. That gave me ample time to check everything out, too! Upon walking in I was charmed by the staff who were VERY nice (and offered me lots of gelato to sample as I waited for my order!). The second thing I noticed were the delicious looking baked goods and desserts behind the counter. Breads, cookies, cannoli, tiramisu, cheesecakes, etc. I grabbed a chocolate chunk cookie to nibble on during the drive home plus a strawberry cheesecake and tiramisu for dessert. All were outstanding! For our entrees I ordered a couple of things for my husband and I to split--the chicken parm sandwich and a margarita calzone with added Italian sausage. LOVED both but my favorite was definitely the calzone. If you're a fan of a gooey, cheese situation you're gonna love it too. Also the portions are HUGE! I got both for us but we could have split one of them. Each was double what I expected and we had leftovers for days! The gelato was also excellent. They offer several sizes, including pints, perfect for taking home and stocking the freezer. They didn't have the flavor I wanted pre-scooped in the cooler (the cherry stracciatella) but they kindly hooked me up. So good!! Speaking of coolers, they also have another cooler stocked with a ton of beverages, including some fancy imported Italian sodas (many I had to look up while I waited since I didn't recognize them). They also have a few dry goods. Not a ton but a few some bonus goodies like pasta sauces, olive oil, jarred preserves, etc, to pick up when you stop in to grab dinner or dessert. I wish I lived a bit closer but they're not TOO far and I'd absolutely go out of my way to get everything again. Especially because the portions which would feed us for a few days!
