Egg white veggie omelette - made fluffy. The best!
Gabi M.

In town to visit my mom, we stopped by Leeza's Cafe for a late breakfast on a Thursday. It was my first time here but will not be my last... As others have said, Leeza's is perfect if you're looking for great diner food, flowing coffee, and affordable prices. I absolutely love all of the omelette options and the fact that you can request them to be made fluffy! For some reason, I can only find this in Michigan! I went with a fluffy egg white veggie omelette with caramelized onions, sliced tomatoes and an english muffin. I had all of the coffee and water I needed along with it. My mom had the Greek omelette with caramelized onions and no olives. She had a side of carrots. We both left satisfied... Already wanting to go back!

They have an extensive menu and variety of food options, so many omelet choices. The chicken sausage or turkey bacon scramble sounds good, so does their blackened chicken or turkey Rueben sandwiches. Their cinnamon raisin toasts looks really good, so many raisins. Hard to pick one thing from their menu... 14 tables and 4 counter seats. 1st come, 1st served. The hash brown is definitely well done. The top reminds me of that canister of fries my mother would use for whatever growing u Jen is waiting on us. She and the entire crew are super attentive and so warm. We ordered black coffee, green tea, crab omelet, added onions, avocado and lobster meat and added green peppers and onions to my well done hash brown, a turkey sausage scramble, our two cinnamon raisin toast with cream cheese. They have delight brand creamers here. My husband's favorite flavored creamers. The cinnamon raisin toast was rather tasteless and bland, good thing we had cream cheese to get it down. The raisin toast was okay, sparse as far as raisins, they are from Gordon. Oh. The crab, lobster omelet was jam packed and quite good. I definitely liked the added avocado, onion and green peppers. Would get it again! My well done hash brown was not as I expected, as the top and bottom of it was like the canned crispy fries my mom used to get when I was a kid. The turkey sausage scramble was really yummy! We both really liked it. It was so good. Coffee and tea are okay. Fresh squeezed OJ was good. The turkey bacon was fine, it was as expected. Pay at the register. Service here was great, all staffers work together here to make your experience the best it can be.

Great staff and service - wonderful breakfast! Health and tasty...I had the Breakfast Bowl special . Enjoy!!!

Starting off, this place was cute- Saw a lot of senior citizens sitting here and was greeted by a woman who later introduced herself as the owner. I saw some good things on the menu so it was hard to decide - I got the crab omelette because I haven't seen that at other places. The crab meat was slightly sweet and tasted delicious with the cheese and everything else. The only thing I will say is I asked the waitress if I could substitute the hashbrowns with something else and she said no substitutions can be done. She Didn't even say "yes, but it will be an Upcharge" so It felt like I had no choice almost. So if it's like that, please change it because that's kind of weird. But The young lady that was pouring the coffee was very sweet asking frequently if we needed a refill and later leeza came over and introduced herself as the owner asking if we're doing okay which is very nice of her. The restroom was clean. Took off one star for the substitution situation but everything else was good

We moved to this side of town about two years ago and have been checking out new places to shop and eat. We spotted Leeza's a while ago and today we finally tried it out. We already had a very light breakfast before a doctor appointment and after we made a spontaneous decision to go for a second breakfast and picked Leeza's. As this was our second breakfast for today, we weren't too hungry. So my wife ordered Raisin Toast and Fresh Squeezed Grapefruit Juice and I decided on a BLT on Rye and we both had coffee. I prefer my coffee black unless it needed some help to make it tolerable; this was good by Itself and didn't need any help. My wife said the raisin toast was generous with the raisins and she really liked the Fresh-Squeezed Juice. My BLT had a good amount of B and nice balance of L and T. Service was excellent and we never ran out of drinks. Based on the high rating and many good reviews, our high expectations were fulfilled. The only thing negative was that the restroom was a bit small.

I came here looking for some comfort food and a relaxing environment during my lunch break. Looks like most other Coney Islands and diners I've ever been to. The menu has your standard breakfast and lunch staples, especially sandwiches and burgers. I went with a classic Reuben and did curly fries for my side. A good meal overall, although nothing about it really stood out above similar places. I was a bit disappointed they didn't have pies as I was craving one after, but I have noticed many diners don't offer pies anymore which puzzles me. Despite being busy service was spot on as well.

Blackened chicken sandwich. It was awful

Terrible food, I don't understand how they have such favorable reviews. I ordered the blackened chicken sandwich and there was no spice on it, overcooked and rubbery and the avocados on it were cooked hot. Who cooks avocado?! The oatmeal was overcooked and mushy. The potato Benedict and the sauce was gross.

Best breakfast in town - Friendly service - Hall in the wall - Best kept secret - I'm typically not a breakfast eater but after this Oceana omelet with lobster and shrimp in hollandaise sauce, its my favorite breakfast place. Staff is super friendly and quick. Food is VERY GOOD. It's a fairly small place but it's also the best kept secret around. Definitely a hall in the wall with superb breakfast dishes and freshed squizzed OJ. Yumm

Found this little gem by accident. They make great fluffy omelets. And Leeza couldn't have been nicer. Not fancy, just comfortable.

Our office moved to a new location back in June, so I've been on the hunt for new lunch spots in…read morethe area. I tend to eat out quite a bit, so one day I jumped on Google and searched for diners near me. Sunrise Café popped up with tons of great reviews, and many people mentioned how attentive the owner is and how great the food is. After finally stopping in, I can say those reviews were absolutely right. The food here is fantastic. I ordered the Big Sunrise, which comes with three eggs (I got mine over medium), a big slice of ham, two pieces of bacon, and two sausage patties. For my sides I went with white toast and grits. I have to say, grits are definitely an acquired taste, but lately I've been loving them and these were really good. The waitress was also spot on--super attentive and friendly. Overall the service was excellent and the food was even better. My only small "complaint," and it's really no fault of theirs, is that inside the restaurant my cell phone had almost no signal. It was basically a dead zone, so I had to actually sit there and live in the moment instead of scrolling the internet on my phone. Kind of funny because the second I walked outside to my car, I had a full signal again. Not sure what's going on there, but honestly it just gave me more time to enjoy the food. Great place, great service, and great food. I'll definitely be back

Today the stars aligned and I was able to come here to try my first Turkish coffee. I must have looked like a deer in headlights because the owner asked if I ever drank one. When I said no, he further explained how he would prepare it and how to enjoy it. (Coffee grounds are boiled and not filtered so it settles to the bottom of your glass as you finish) I didn't realize I would get a Turkish coffee 101 but I really appreciated it! I'm that yelp nerd after all. I love to learn about culture and I loved my experience here. I had asked why he opened so late 10am/close at 5pm (the desperate mom in me needs coffee earlier and later lol) and he said he also has little ones to drop off to school. So everything makes perfect sense. The cafe is clean and the prices for everything is very very fair. In addition to coffee you could order other things like a scoop of ice cream with espresso, turkey panini for $5.99, boreks (which have spinach, feta and potato) There's also kid juice boxes and snacks like Doritos and Cheetos ($1.50 each) if you decide to come here for a mom and baby date. It's very peaceful and there's even wooden backgammon and chess :) the coffee was very flavorful, powerful, almost like a sweet drip coffee pour without the sour aftertaste like the ones at regular coffee shops. I love mom and pop shops like this. They make me reminisce of my restaurant back when my parents were still working. I will come back again and probably ask for an extra Turkish delight with my coffee :) I hope this review inspires you to visit and support a working dad. I'll accommodate to their business hours. This was a great place to get a strong cup of coffee. I highly recommend it. :)
