Leeza's is yet another standout in the robust Farmington brunch scene which includes FH Brunch House and Sunrise Cafe. For some reason, this area is just packed with unique brunch style restaurants and Leeza's is apart of it. Absolutely incredible menu. I love seafood brunch, and this is one of the few places that has shrimp, crab, lobster and salmon available in a variety of dishes. Another item that was unique and incredible was the Potato Pancake Benedict. As someone who is a previous Eggs Benedict addict, but who tries to avoid bread, the Potato Pancake Benedict is one of the best brunch innovations I've seen in the last 3 years. They let you use the modification with any of their Benedict offerings, so I choose to use it on the Crab Cake Benedict. I absolutely loved it. The Crab Cake didn't overdo it on the Cake, and was properly filled with crab (as it should be). The Hollandaise had a great (but not overpowering) flavor and had a nice, thick texture. The dish was an awesome revelation, and I'll be coming back because I don't know anyone else who has it Because I had the Potato Pancakes, I decided to go with the grits as my side and, again, they were unique and high quality. I got the butter and cheese grits and they were incredibly creamy with great, fresh cheese flavor. You also got a great portion, which was much appreciated. The waitress we had was awesome and my coffee was hot, high quality, and filled multiple times. The place has a ton of booths and parking is fine for the most part. The service was generally great, although we had to wave down a server to get a coffee refill. Food was average at best. I had a veggie breakfast pita and added eggs. I couldn't eat the eggs. They were dry and overcooked. Actually the whole meal was dry. Definitely not worth the $ when I would have gotten more food for less cost if I had ordered the veggie omelette. I do not recommend this dish. My husband had a corned beef omelette. He said it was fine but not fabulous. His hash browns needed to be cooked longer. He did enjoy the cinnamon raisin toast. As others have said, Leeza's is perfect if you're looking for great diner food, flowing coffee, and affordable prices. I absolutely love all of the omelette options and the fact that you can request them to be made fluffy! For some reason, I can only find this in Michigan! I went with a fluffy egg white veggie omelette with caramelized onions, sliced tomatoes and an english muffin. I had all of the coffee and water I needed along with it. They have delight brand creamers here. My husband's favorite flavored creamers. The cinnamon raisin toast was rather tasteless and bland, good thing we had cream cheese to get it down. The raisin toast was okay, sparse as far as raisins, they are from Gordon. Oh. The crab, lobster omelet was jam packed and quite good. I definitely liked the added avocado, onion and green peppers. Would get it again! My well done hash brown was not as I expected, as the top and bottom of it was like the canned crispy fries my mom used to get when I was a kid. The turkey sausage scramble was really yummy! We both really liked it. It was so good. Coffee and tea are okay. Fresh squeezed OJ was good. The turkey bacon was fine, it was as expected. Quick service, friendly. The parking lot isn't great but that's neither here nor there. Pretty robust menu. It's kind of like a better coney-type spot, lots to choose from; breakfast, salads, burgers, sandwiches.. I've only gotten the western and Mexican omelettes so far but they didn't disappoint. We moved to this side of town about two years ago and have been checking out new places to shop and eat. We spotted Leeza's a while ago and today we finally tried it out. We already had a very light breakfast before a doctor appointment and after we made a spontaneous decision to go for a second breakfast and picked Leeza's. As this was our second breakfast for today, we weren't too hungry. So my wife ordered Raisin Toast and Fresh Squeezed Grapefruit Juice and I decided on a BLT on Rye and we both had coffee. I prefer my coffee black unless it needed some help to make it tolerable; this was good by Itself and didn't need any help. My wife said the raisin toast was generous with the raisins and she really liked the Fresh-Squeezed Juice. My BLT had a good amount of B and nice balance of L and T. Service was excellent and we never ran out of drinks. Based on the high rating and many good reviews, our high expectations were fulfilled. Starting off, this place was cute- Saw a lot of senior citizens sitting here and was greeted by a woman who later introduced herself as the owner. I saw some good things on the menu so it was hard to decide - I got the crab omelette because I haven't seen that at other places. The crab meat was slightly sweet and tasted delicious with the cheese and everything else. The only thing I will say is I asked the waitress if I could substitute the hashbrowns with something else and she said no substitutions can be done. She Didn't even say "yes, but it will be an Upcharge" so It felt like I had no choice almost. So if it's like that, please change it because that's kind of weird. But The young lady that was pouring the coffee was very sweet asking frequently if we needed a refill and later leeza came over and introduced herself as the owner asking if we're doing okay which is very nice of her. I came here looking for some comfort food and a relaxing environment during my lunch break. Looks like most other Coney Islands and diners I've ever been to. The menu has your standard breakfast and lunch staples, especially sandwiches and burgers. I went with a classic Reuben and did curly fries for my side. A good meal overall, although nothing about it really stood out above similar places. I was a bit disappointed they didn't have pies as I was craving one after, but I have noticed many diners don't offer pies anymore which puzzles me. Great stop on the way home from Detroit. It's a small place located in a strip mall. We showed up at 11:30am with 4 people and had a little wait. Their menu is large with many breakfast and lunch options. The staff and the owner were so friendly and fast. The owner was making the rounds refilling drinks and getting additional items for everyone. You really feel like you are walking into a place where everyone knows each other and everyone is so friendly. Their food was great. Most impressive was that the coffee was actually quite good. They serve quality coffee, something diners rarely do. Huge menu. I had the gyro omelet. Omelets come 2 ways: fluffy eggs or flat eggs. Leeza was behind the counter speaking to a customer. She assumed I was a pickup/carryout. I asked if i could dine in and she apologized & said i could sit anywhere. She's very sweet. Everyone is baby, honey, sweetie. I was going to a 2 seater & she said i could sit at the booth (4 seater) I overheard her speaking to the older couple who came in & sat in the booth in front of me that everyone is vaccinated, boostered, & usually wears a mask. What a great diner! If I could give ten stars I certainly would. We walked in and the owner immediately greeted us. She was so accommodating, so welcoming, and so kind. She treated us like royalty. Even after living in the Suburbs of Southeast Michigan for years, I had never actually heard of Leeza's Café until a friend suggested that it might be a neat place to try. Tucked into a small strip mall in Farmington Hills, it's easy to see how the average passerby can very easily pass it by (see what I did there?). Though this may seem detrimental to the restaurant's future, I think the real interesting thing is that there seems to be a die-hard group of regular customers keeping the restaurant alive and dare I say, even thriving? My friend and I stopped by on a Sunday morning around brunch time, and looking from the outside of the restaurant, I was thinking that perhaps we'd thought too much of the hype online and made a mistake. However, once I entered the establishment, I saw the real hustle and bustle of a jam-packed room of happy customers. Luckily my friend had arrived before I had and grabbed a small table, otherwise we may have been out of luck in finding seats for some time. The loyal regulars seem to have an established routine of making a stop at Leeza's on their way to live the rest of their busy days, and many have gotten to the stage of the waitresses knowing their full orders by heart. The waitstaff is friendly and always attentive, making the small restaurant seem as busy as a Labor and Delivery ward in the early 1950s (quite possibly when a large chunk of Leeza's standard clientele was born). The menu has tons of interesting options, but definitely check out the specials menu as well, there are some heavy hitters on there! Keto/ Low Carb folks: I usually stick to breakfast foods in restaurants like Leeza's and didn't stray from that strategy for this visit. There's plenty more in the menu to explore if you're interested, but even the selection of omelets could keep you occupied for many visits. Overall, I'd say Leeza's is a nice, welcoming, and neat little restaurant in Farmington Hills, MI.
