The store had a culture change about 18 months ago which I enjoyed. Prior to that time, the sales…read morestaff was condescending, one even stated a couple of years ago that I didn't look like I was in the right store (jeans day, I went back in my suit and they fell all all over me.) But then something changed, and suddenly they were nice, didn't talk down to me, and overall I brought quite a few things there that I didn't find elsewhere. I did note that they discontinued the lifestyle products last year in the store, eliminated fragrances as the company shifted out of certain products, and prioritized to more mass market items instead of specialty fabrics, fits, styles, and items that had made them unique. Then after the '21 holiday, another change in attitude. Larger and petite sizes were only available online, and staff wasn't friendly and seemed to be highly stressed. Not a shopping experience to be enjoyed. Sad, I used to love their clothes, particularly ones that were dressy that I could wear for nice evening out and their holiday styles, but no longer. You need to be skinny, "upscale," and part of the social scene once again to be welcome.

A shopper left a single item in the fitting room while rushing because her mom was calling her to hurry. Instead of simply collecting it, an employee stopped her and questioned whether she was taking it, then made her go back. It felt unnecessary and a bit uncomfortable to watch. Aside from that, the store itself was great. It was clean, well staffed, and full of genuinely good finds. Overall, I would call it a four out of five experience. I would absolutely come back and shop here again, even though I am not usually an H&M person.

J&M leathers are beautiful-- of impressive quality. My dad wore J&M in the 70's along with Foreshiem Imperials! I would watch my dad polish and shine his shoes monthly....and my fashion forward hubby takes the exact same care of his footwear. I've known for years these are quality leather goods. If I'm not mistaken the salesman George shared that J&M began custom leather wares in the late 1860's! That's why this company gets it right.

We understand that these shoes are almost a year old, but even though this is Dallas, sandals are not worn all year long. Our understanding when buying these were that they were quality shoes that would last for a few years. I am sure that is what you would have said when selling the shoes to us right? Funny we come in and you tell us that because we got almost a year out of the shoes, nothing could be done but a "Wear Credit". So you are basically saying your shoes do not hold up a year? I guess my Louis Vuitton purse is over a year old and I should be luck it is in tact huh? You also told us that if we sent these in to corporate, we would not get a response, so corporate does not respond to their customers? You did make sure to THREATEN to call security on us if we wanted to show customers in the store these shows for their opinion. Are you going to call security on me for posting this review and I will be posting pictures....are you telling me I have no freedom of speech in this country? My $1 Old Navy Flip flops have held up better than these shoes did and I wear them everyday inside the house and often outside the house. We lucked up on a good sale too and able to get men polo shirts and khaki shorts for a steal. There's a beauty section, which I had no clue Old Navy had lotion and body wash line. I was able to get a free full size lotion based on my purchase total. The cashier helped facilitate using the discount on the spot and transaction total reward.

She came back saying there were no sizes left but when I left (after trying all my items), I found the entire rack with plenty sizes left and came back. She looked astonished and pissed off. I am so happy to finally wear a bra that fits and is comfortable. I can't thank her enough. The other staff were also very friendly. They had most of my sizes in the colors I wanted and if they didn't, we were able to order them and I'll get free shipping to my home. The store was clean. the dressing room was clean but it was a little hot. Unfortunately you can't call the store and find out when they're open but I think they open by 10 AM.
