I noticed my truck was damaged by the car wash when I got home. I didn't go anywhere else and parked in my driveway so I'm confident it was done at the car wash. I went in the next day to report it. They said someone would get back to me 24-48 hours later. I called, emailed and stopped in several times over the next couple weeks. Finally an employee gave me the number to the manager and I quote them "you will probably need to spam his phone to get a response." I called several times and finally got a response via email that stated the tapes were reviewed and no damage was done. I was not satisfied with that answer so I continued to call and email with no response. I wanted to see these tapes myself but never heard back from them. I would NOT recommend this car wash. I then contacted the corporate level of Tommy's and they won't do anything. They responded that all the locations are privately owned and operated. read more

All forms of payments should be authorized. This place does not take cash. The serviceperson was very nice but I literally had to drive over a sidewalk and look like a fool to exit the long line. Bad move. I'll be using other places from now on. read more

quality of the wash.... not impressed. upon leaving there was still dirty areas on vehicle. and the water they use actually left spots. theoretically they open at 7am. in 1 month free trial. car wash was closed due to maintenance issues 4 times only tried to go 5 times. staff seems moderately knowledgeable and really didnt want to be there, in the few time I did need to interact with them. benefit they do have? quite a few of them around. but they are more expensive than other washes with worse wash quality. not impressed. read more

I recently visited Tommy's Car Wash at the Plainfield location in Grand Rapids, MI, and was extremely disappointed. After getting my wife's vehicle washed, I later discovered that a large section of the back end had been completely untouched. When I returned a few days later to address the issue, I expected the company to stand behind their service. Instead, I was told I would have to pay for another wash because I hadn't come back the same day--despite the fact that an employee admitted there had been a malfunction with their equipment, which had since been fixed. Rather than making things right, Tommy's chose to enforce a rigid policy that ignores customer satisfaction. Instead of wasting more time and money, I went home and cleaned the car myself--something their wash should have done in the first place. With plenty of other car wash options available, I won't be returning to Tommy's. A business that refuses to take responsibility for its mistakes doesn't deserve my loyalty. read more

Your employees are not doing their jobs! When I asked a question they were dismissive and rude. Leaving teenagers to ruin your business is not a good business model. Your equipment malfunctioned and they laughed. Fix the gate so it doesn't BANG down on the top of vehicles, when they cannot move forward. Apparently it malfunctions at all of your locations! If I could rate a zero I would. Damages caused to my car at the Plainfield location were ignored then denied. It took over 3 weeks to get a response to my claim, then to have it denied. They have an F rating with the BBB for a good reason. read more

Tommy's will damage your car and won't do anything about it! The 44th St location broke off the shark fin on my Acadia, it was 2 days before I noticed it missing. Went there immediately, they took my info and they had my part in their office. Looked like it could be put back on, but their employee and I couldn't figure out how. It was a few weeks before getting an answer from dealership, which blew me away when quoting $1,000‐ $1,200 because clips were broke off and whole thing had to be replaced and painted. Went back to Tommy's and was told sorry we're not taking care of it because their employee never saved the video. Max refuses to give me his managers contact info, upper management has not contacted me in the 2 weeks waiting, no one will reply to my emails and my complaint to corporate office a week ago has gone unanswered. Terrible customer service!!! Take care of the damage your car wash did....it's that simple!!! read more

LOVE this place! I have a monthly pass for both our vehicles and it's been wonderful! I have the APP and have my vehicles registered so it's a very smooth process to get my weekly car wash! I've never had any issues and never had to wait more than two vehicles. I highly recommend! read more

Staff is horrible and rude..... of course I'm mad because they denied my claim of damage to my brand new vehicle. They have it on their own video of it happening, but say it was a car defect..... the car has less than 8000 miles on it and was purchased new. It's always the same with you guys.... over a week to get back with us, calling my wife When I specifically gave my phone number to to call me because she was busy busy with 4 grandchildren. Easton was very rude with her on the phone and then hung up on her but all she was trying to do was get answers ... my wife is the nicest, kindest person. Easton was specifically told to call me and he chose not to. He also avoided three of my phone calls ....We'll figure this out somehow ! Yeah oh, and by the way, the language was very appropriate for the managerial skill level of your staff...! read more

The spinners don't always work. The mirror is always dirty, so you can't see your car on the way out. The wipers don't always work. There are always leaves and dirt inside. The wipers are ripped and torn. The wheel shiners either don't work or are missing. I love our Tommy's membership and frequent all the local Tommy's. This is unfortunately the worst one in the area. read more

I went through the car wash and when finished, I had an oily substance all over my windows and finish. I told the attendant and they let me go through again. The second wash only increased the smearing. I left and drove home with a totally filthy car. I will never recommend Tommys car wash to anyone and will never use Tommys car wash again. Always does a good job, except lately, everytime I go through I get a new scuff mark and scratches. They'll probably buff out, but I was just a little upset that I have to remove these scratches when they should've never got there in the first place. read more

Car was pretty wet after the wash. The end spinners were not spinning. After traveling for work in different parts of the country, I find that this car was is lacking. We pay the same price for a wash in Utah and Texas but they offer free wipes for the inside of vehicle, air hoses (to blow dust or water off) at the vacuum site. One of the places even has two people at the end of the wash to dry excess water off vehicle and this is all for the same price. read more

FREE Vacuums!!!!!! This place is grand spanning new and so nice. It's at a great location and I'm thinking this will be my new spot for washing my suv. The free vacuums are a nice touch. Terrible customer service. I had 4 cars on this plan. I cancelled two because of selling the cars. One on January 12. They had already billed me and I called to have them refund the difference they said you can still use this for the month. I told them I sold the car that said they can't refund the difference. Really? So I said ok just give me a wash credit for one of my other cars. They said we don't give people incentives for canceling. Again really? So basically if you sign up for this know that once they have your money there's no getting it back, even if it's the 12th of the month and you don't own the car anymore.
