Best place ever. The views of the beach & ocean don't get any better. Place is very well maintained. We would definitely come here again!

Resort Rentals - View from our 3rd floor balcony

This property is nothing short of phenomenal -- truly a million-dollar experience every time. We especially love staying in an inlet unit. While the Gulf views are absolutely gorgeous, there's something magical about the inlet in the early mornings. Watching the marine life and birds start their day while sipping coffee on the balcony is such a peaceful and unique experience that we look forward to year after year. Over the years, we've had a few very minor hiccups (as you'd expect with any long stay), but the Resort Rentals staff has always been kind, professional, and quick to take care of us. Their attentiveness and friendliness really set them apart. Traveling all the way from upstate NY, we wouldn't keep coming back for a decade if this wasn't truly worth it. Lands End is a slice of paradise, and Resort Rentals makes it easy to enjoy every moment. We couldn't recommend them more highly! PS: Travel tip - wake up with the sunrise for a good chance to see dolphins, manatees and cool birds in the inlet!

I've been to the Caprice several times and will not return until pool rules are somewhat enforced. Please know, I enjoy families with children, just not families that are inconsiderate and management that looks the other way. It was at a point that myself and others did not use the pool. On the other hand, my unit was fantastic and the pool person (morning cleanup only) did a great job!

Only room complaint was you can hear the elevator everytime it goes up and down, but if you walk enough miles on the beautiful clean beach your head will hit the pillow and you will be so fast asleep you won't even hear it. You can see a smidgen of the Gulf from the balcony also!!! The pool was sparkly and clean but a tish cool for us. The staff was helpful and nice. The availability of luggage carts, grocery cart for hauling things up was so nice. Within walking distance to all our favorite restaurants...Skidders, Snappers, Baracuda, and Willys. Stay here you won't regret it.

Awesome stay! Highly recommended!…read more We needed a quiet, relaxing vacation where we could bring our dog. Island Paradise delivered. The couple who owns them is super nice and so helpful with our visit. The cottages are nice and you can tell some well-thought effort went into updating them. Everything there was quiet. The pool was nice and the tiki hut made for a nice place to chat with fellow relaxers. The beach is a short five minute walk. With a less-than ten minute walk, you're at John's Pass with shopping, restaurants and bars. We had planned on going to other places while visiting, but we barely left the radius around the cottages.

The villas are perfect for staying for a longer time and everything you could wish for in a kitchen is there. It is extremely clean, very beautifully decorated and just perfect. The hosts (june and Bill) are so friendly and helpful that we felt like family when we left. The other people staying there were also extremely nice and the atmosphere was wonderful. This was supported by the tradition that everybody staying there would gather for a glass of wine or a drink at around 5 in the afternoon in the tiki-hut. Even though we were the only ones with children we felt so welcome. I would love to go there again and I am sure that we would feel just as welcome the next time. We stayed in Villa Paradiso, which was the largest of the villas, but I also saw the inside of some of the other villas and they looked just as nice. The beach was a short 3 min walk from the cottages and John's Pass was around 5-10 minutes away when walking.

I stayed at the Don CeSar for four nights during a work conference, and had a great experience from…read morethe time I arrived and the time I left. The resort is huge but not overwhelming. The views are beautiful, and the location is right on the beach. There are plenty of spaces in the lobby for working, plenty of meeting rooms (or ball rooms if you're there for a formal event), and areas to just relax or work. The resort provides live music various days of the week as well. I will say that I was surprised about the lack of dining options. There is a lobby bar (which doesn't open until 3pm), and just two restaurant options. Maritana is only open a few days a week and not open until 5:30pm, although the lobby bar does serve a few small plates. The Society Table has a bar within their restaurant (Rowe Bar I believe), and I experienced both as they both have different menus. The lobby bar menu is small but great; the Wagyu Sliders and charcuterie board were both delicious. The wine list is fairly extensive as well. I dined at the society table for lunch on the day that I left and I got the Gumbo with jalapeño cornbread. This was very delicious; I do feel there should've been more than a few pieces of chopped up shrimp. My waitress was wonderful though and very kind as well as the hostess. For the days we were provided food by the resort for the work conference, I was very impressed! All of the breakfast, lunch, and dinner options were incredibly extensive, fresh, and delicious. The servers were very attentive and helpful. The room service menu although overpriced and included a $5 "delivery charge," is very extensive and tasty. For example, an omelet with toast (small salad included with the omelette), was almost $60 including tip. That being said, it was the best omelette I've ever had. The guest services for room service and the cleaners were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Evan! Do note that this is a cashless resort. There are a few shops on the first floor for souvenirs, basic necessities for traveling, and then an adorable little shop/café with ice cream, coffee, wine, snacks, and drinks. On to the room! I really enjoyed my room. I feel like for one person or even two, it's a pretty spacious room. The bed was very comfortable as well as pillows. They cleaned my room each day, and provided new towels. The bathroom was clean and a decent size for one person. All of the events that the hotel put on for our conference were outstanding. We had a welcome party and a beach party, and I was incredibly impressed. The food was delicious, the staff incredibly attentive and kind, and the music wonderful! The Don CeSar was the perfect place for our conference and I would highly recommend a company conference there. Between the delicious food, impeccable service, beautiful resort, and location right on the beach, I would recommend this spot for an event, quick getaway, or staycation.
