So glad I found this pizzeria. Absolutely the best Italian restaurant in Rincon. This is a classic New York style pizzeria with Sicilian style dishes. Authentic cuisine that is made with fresh ingredients from the sauce to the cheese to the dough. Handcrafted hot oven fired pizza pies made to order in the open kitchen. It's a counter service eatery that's very small and quaint inside. Even pasta dishes are available for pickup, delivery or dine in. Ordered the large pizza and it was served hot plus delicious. I could tell how the ingredients were of excellent quality especially the cheese. The service was very welcoming and knowledgeable about their menu offerings. Past couple of pizzas didn't taste as fresh as they once did, which doesn't reflect the price per pie. We ordered a few when we had some friends from Boston visit, and the quality was less than good. Not a bad option, but not our first choice when looking for pizza in Effingham. read more

Just ordered pizza for the second time from them. Pizza wasn't as good as it was the first time we go it and we also got a Greek salad which had no pepperoncini's on it which was disappointing because it clearly says it comes with them and I love them so I was sad about that. Also the oil & vinegar dressing was just flat out oil no trace of vinegar. The pizza crust was tough and seemed over cooked. Would still try and order again but if it's off a second time I wouldn't order again sadly. read more

I did have my order delivered, and have never been to Tommy's so I cannot speak on the ambiance. I can say the angry grandma pizza was pure heaven! Perfect amount of sweet and spicy! The wings were not such a hit, there seemed to be no flavor. It is a Saturday night, and I am sure they are slammed, so that one little issue is not a deal breaker. I will be having Tommy's again! Delivery was less than an hour, and I ordered at 18:25, during peak dinner rush time. I'm glad to support local within our community! Keep up the good work Tommy and crew! read more

Give this place a try! The cheese pizza was a 5 out of 5. The meatlovers pizza was a 4 out of 5, we thought the ham / ham flavor overpowered it in a bad way. The customer service face to face was good, they were quick to take my order and it only took 30 mins for pizza to be ready and that's exactly what they estimated. I tried to call in advance to place an order and could not get anyone on the phone so I was forced to sit and wait. It's a new store and it was extremely hot in the building, typical of a good pizza place, but too hot to eat there in my opinion even though people were eating here. I'm new to the area and tried the spaghetti and meat sauce and they gave me a slice of Roma pizza with it. First the spaghetti and meat sauce was excellent, second the Roma slice was better than excellent. So next visit ordered two pies, one with extra cheese and one Roma. We ordered a variety of things to try and ordered them for pickup. We got the eggplant Parmesan pizza, meat lovers pizza, chicken bacon ranch pizza, garlic knots, and lamb gyro. The order was ready on time, and everything was absolutely delicious. The whole family loved it. I used to live on the NE coast so it was nice to get those flavors again. Tommy even worked with me on the timing of my order when I submitted it too early. The restaurant doesn't have much seating so I'd recommend take out or delivery.
