Used Yelp's tools to find S&H and sent a text describing our needs about 8:30 PM. Got a preliminary response within minutes and a response from the owner, Dan moments later. He'd already checked with three of his suppliers to no avail, but promised to check an additional source as well as his stock of used tires. Said he'd respond shortly after 7 AM. He did, and we had the used tires installed within an hour before 9AM. Price was fair, service was quick, and we got two name brand tires to tide us over until we can get a full new set (the tires we had we're original equipment run-flats with 44k miles on them. The place doesn't look like much, but they definitely know what they're doing and the responsiveness was stellar.

So my car started making awful grinding noises and I thought to myself hmmm I just had my rear brakes done 3 weeks ago. Surely the brake place would have checked my front as well. Wrong! After I dropped my car off they called and confirmed that I indeed did need rotors and pads on the front. He quoted me about $55 more than I paid at the place up the street. I also expressed my frustration with the other locations lack of oversight in checking the front brakes. He told me over the phone he'd see what he could do to lower the price. About an hour and a half later I get a call saying they're done and he told me the cost which was now $20 cheaper than what I'd paid up the street. Awesome! They even vacuumed (where they could ) and wiped down the dashboard. I wish I had known about how great Buchanan's is sooner!

It would've been an additional 70+ dollars for the air filter and the headlight in addition to the 125 I paid for the oil change. Had I gone to grease monkey not only would I have saved on the oil change, but I would've gotten my headlight done for free. That's what happened today. The headlight itself cost five dollars at Walmart and when I got to grease monkey since I had the part myself, they literally changed my headlight for free. I haven't been able to drive after dark for two weeks, but they have taken a huge relief off my shoulders. Not only that they topped off my fluids and zip tied my bumper which was falling down in one area. Again, all for free. I really really really wish I would've went to them sooner because Alex, who is amazing for an 18-year-old, and Cadence were super friendly and very informative. Actually, everyone was but I wouldn't have been able to remember all of their names lol but I specifically wanted to shout out Alex and Cadence. I was contacted very quickly by Discount Tire corporate customer service. After a brief conversation they have agreed to take care of the repairs on my car. Today my son picked up the car and it runs beautifully. Tommy's tires went above and beyond what I asked them to do! Customer service is important to me and everyone was so nice. I bought 4 new tires and they replaced parts that were going bad without charging me extra and even asked me to return to make sure everything was working properly! I will definitely recommend everyone to Tommy's tires! Not to mention, I can't believe how much better my vehicle drives!! Extremely happy!! read more

Went to Jensen Tire in Elkhorn and they turned me away say they couldn't do anything with a lock nut. I had no clue what a lock but was. They said it was a key for the tire. Said to go to Luke's Tire. I called called Lyle's tire at about 3:15 from Elkhorn and they said to come on in (they close at 4 on Saturday's) so they can look at it. Got there at about 3:40 and Michael came right out and found the nail. He brought it back to see if they could get the lock but off. Once the car was in the back, Mike came to talk with me and explained what a lock nut was and even showed me what a "key" looks like. He was SO patient and willing to teach me why it's not a simple fix. I learned a LOT! Even though they were closing soon, he never rushed anything. Thankfully, they were able to fix the tire without damaging the black rims. Mike was worried that if I got another flat, it may be a worse situation to where I might be stranded. So, he said he would do some research to see if he could replace the remaining three lock nuts with regular black ones. It didn't even take him a week to follow-up. I will never go to another tire place! Truly professionals that know their product and care about their customers safety and budget. Mike was amazing! He took the time to explain the severity of the situation and never rushed anything, ensuring I understood what was going on with my car. Thank you!

I will be a long time customer and will continue using there services. Times are tough and having my car back on the road in a timely manner is a priority for me.
