Now, I understand that they can't just waste their time chasing codes for free, but yes that was a little steep. I paid it because I needed my car repaired, and I really do like them. That being said, they now charge $253 to diagnose a check engine light. I just cannot afford to pay $250 simply to walk in the door before the repair pricing even begins, so I have had no choice but to take my car repair business elsewhere. They do a fantastic job, the techs are wonderful, the repairs have been good, but they have priced me out of being able to take my car to them. I do recommend them if you can afford them because they do good work. Just be prepared for the price.

After emailing me 3000 times after booking the appointment, I never received a receipt explaining the extra charge. When I got home I noticed my center caps were all bent in the same place. I called. The guy was rude and insulting. I brought the truck back, he took pictures, and said someone would be in touch. That never happened. I had to replace not only the center caps, but all my lugs because they used an impact (with no extension hence the dents) and rounded several of them off. A bear to remove.
