Unfortunately, Webster Bank requires in-person branch visits to close the account, which would require a 10-hour round-trip drive for me. I requested alternatives, such as a notarized closure request or, at a minimum, a temporary service-fee waiver, until I can visit within 30-60 days. The customer service manager was unable to provide any solution or fee protection. While security procedures are understandable, a complete refusal to offer reasonable alternatives for long-term customers creates unnecessary hardship. I am extremely disappointed in how difficult it has been to close an account after nearly two decades of banking with Webster. This keeps credibility while still communicating dissatisfaction.

By the grace of God, my dad decided to drive by to check on my car and saw it before anyone else tried to tamper with it or take it. This was beyond careless and I feel very upset that my car was handled in this way. If I could leave 0 stars I would.
