I found Adrian because I was living in Tarrytown at the time and he was very close. I read the reviews on his website and I thought I'd see if they were legit. He is by far the best instructor anyone could ask for. He is very patient, honest, friendly, tolerant and always with a very calm demeanor. He really wants to see you succeed and become a good driver. I think there are a lot of jerks on the road because they were not taught by Adrian. I have had lessons with him where I think any other instructor would have yelled at me. Not Adrian, even when he sees you being hard on yourself, he will reassure you that you're not doing so bad. And if you are, he'll find a way to say it where it doesn't sound so bad. :) I could not have passed my road test (on the first try) without Adrian's help. I highly recommend him to everyone!

Driving has been my biggest challenge and I'm glad I signed up for the 6-7 lessons package. Although I'm still a new driver I feel so much more confident. Andy helped me work on problem areas such as my left/right turns, steering the wheel correctly and merging. Andy was straightforward and didn't make me feel overwhelmed. So be prepared to pay Fresh Green Light for a re-test ($199) or go to the DMV. Fresh Green Light charges $159 for the re-take -- a 10 minute test that a DMV agent gives. Re-testing creates a nice revenue stream for them.

There are so many ways to fail a driving test even if you know how to drive. Luis knew exactly what I needed to do, and he also has a great vibe and teaching style which made me feel much more relaxed before the test. (He even knows the tendencies of the inspectors who administer the test, so he can point out what to watch out for when he sees which inspector you get on test day.) I would recommend Mercuri to anyone, and I absolutely would not have passed without his help.

The suggested solution was to cancel the road test, DMV doesn't cancel appointments the day of, do they even know how DMV works with those?? How can you do this to students ?!
