I recently tried Toms, to order a fish sandwich. I was already disappointed with their burgers, but I thought what can you do a fish sandwich? Wrong. To start with, it was the size of a postage stamp. It was unbelievably thin and had been way overcooked. It was tough and tasted awful. I recently stopped at the drive though in little chute thinking that I didn't want the corporate legacy food and that a small owned business would offer superior food. Let down! I drove past the chain stores (McDonalds and Burger King) because I thought I would get a "real" shake at a local drive in restaurant. No luck! same crap that is pre-made and comes out of a shake machine. In fact I think Micky D's may be better and definitely cheaper! I was also thought the place was a little dirty and the staff seemed the same. Too many tattoos and weird earrings for me! I mean it is Tom's and a classic in the area. We were served a warm thrown together burger (mine was randomly missing a chunk out of it) and a boat load of fries. I liked the char on the burger and the bun over all but the fries were for sure a little under done for me but that is personal preference. Love they had diet Dr. Pepper on tap. I used the toilet and it was not attached to the wall well which was terrifying. I would not go out of my way to go here it was just meh. read more

We were driving around on New Year's Day getting hangry trying to find someplace to eat lunch and found Tom's. We didn't check Yelp until we ordered and sat down. The dining room was really spartan with lots of open floor space, some missing floor tiles, stained ceiling tiles and no pictures on the walls. Even the plastic dining chairs looked institutional, like you would see in a nursing home or hospital. Really depressing. The clerk was friendly. I ordered a cheeseburger with pickles and mustard and got a small oval patty that didn't quite fit the bun, but it tasted as good as a chain fast food restaurant, as did the fries. I also had iced tea, which was an individual bottle. After eating we ordered a malt, which they forgot to make. My summary? Atmosphere: 1 star Food: 3 stars Service: 2.5 stars Price: 2.5 stars If visiting Tom's Drive-In, which the place really even isn't, you might want to stick to the drive thru. read more

I was very disappointed in my meal tonight. It started when we got to the drive through speaker. The person taking our order, my kitchen ticket says Monica, was very snappy and rude. Then we get to the window and everything came out quite fast. We get home and every one of our 3 shakes is sour, I'm assuming the ice cream is spoiled, I'm missing tarter from the bag, everything was sloppily put together, the lettuce and tomato on everything tasted like it was sitting out the entire day, and it just didn't taste good at all. This is "by far" the best fast food place in Little Chute. The food is always hot and tasty. The fries are off the hook with an extremely large order. I love the fried cheese curds and the onion rings. If you stop there the "Double Cheese, Double Burger" is the bomb. Classic fast food in the fox valley area. Never disappoints. I have always been a fan of the classic works sauce.

I hate it when you order food and they forget to put stuff in the bag....so you pay for it....they don't give it to you....you're home and then all of a sudden I'm supposed to pack up my kids again and drive back there because they can't manage to pick up food and place it in a bag. I mean how hard is that. Happened more than once.....I actually asked if all food was in the single bag they gave me (for an entire family of 5 for food) and they assured me it was....so we get home and I have to tell one of my kids sorry they didn't give me your food?!?!?! So I tried calling the phone number listed to at least get my money back and I called it 10+ times and it just kept ringing and ringing no answer. What kind of business is this?!?! So they charge me, don't give me food and then make sure not to pick up the phone and have to answer to the angry customers they're screwing over. Never again. read more

How many people remember Tom's in the 80's/90's the day after a Packer win? Hamburgers were cheap. I don't recall if it was the total between the two teams or just what the Packers scored either way it was dirt cheep, or maybe it was just $0.29. Either way fantastic for high school boys piling into a car for lunch. Food is always hot and fresh. A wide variety of options. You really can't go wrong with supporting a small local fast food place to the Fox Valley over a national chain like Burger King or even a Regional chain like Culvers. read more

Not impressed whatsoever. I've tried this place a few times and my mind hasn't been changed. I really don't like mc ds or bk much but I would rather go to either one of those then toms in little chute.
