It was sub-par service, not very enjoyable, barely said a few words. then we get onto the wrap. I tried it from when it was made not even an hour before i got mine, and there was enough amount of sauce. then i go to get mine, and i thought i was gonna enjoy it. not only, did they wrap it more than they usually do, but i had so much sauce it was pooling on the wrapping and my hand, and dripping down the wrap from one-two bites. The food was more sub-par than normal. (I order the bacon double and cheese curds every time) I asked for everything on the burger and looked like I was missing a few ingredients. And also, I don't know if they are using old oil or an old fryer but the cheese curds were a mess. (Which is a huge disappointment because I consider myself the Curd connoisseur) AND that's not even the worst part of my experience there this morning. I understand that the standards for Fast Food is getting lower every year but to serve people's food without gloves on?! That's a little senile to me. I've known about Tom's for years but I don't live near any of the locations, so I don't get many opportunities to try it out. I finally did, and luckily my stomach reminded me it was lunch time. Tom's is a local fast food restaurant. To me it has a Culver's feel with the food from A&W. What impressed me was their menu...so many options!! Almost intimidating. The problem is it's hard to read the menu unless you're right up to the counter. They have lots of burger selections but also several fish sandwich options, and a popcorn machine. I ordered a BBQ Bacon Deluxe burger and cheese. I did enjoy my burger, was pretty similar to other fast food burgers. I was not a fan of the cheese curds. They were either cooked to long or been sitting out for a while. The service was prompt, and the restaurant was clean. It's obvious this is a local favorites. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but if I had to eat fast food, I would put them over the major chains because of their extensive menu. read more

Stopped for a treat. Ordered two flavors of shakes. Where was the flavor? They were fairly good vanilla, but the added flavor was just not enough to taste. I would just get vanilla next time. I am now afraid that the rest of their food will be as tasteless. read more

Fast food, yet higher quality than most. They use local suppliers for their rolls, brats, etc. many different combinations of burgers and chicken sandwiches/ wraps. The kids love the choice of applesauce as a side as well as the cookie dessert. The prices on their comes and sundaes are pretty great. My husband and I stumbled upon this place by accident. It was late at night and we were starving. The restaurant was quiet and clean and the staff was friendly. My husband ordered the Big Tom cheeseburger and I ordered the regular cheeseburger. Both came with a healthy amount of fries. The burgers were large and filling. The fries were nothing to write home about, but they were good. All around I would say it is worth a visit. It's standard fast food but a little better then the typical McDonald's fare. read more

I was excited to try a non chain burger place, but I understand why this place isn't chain; it sucks. I had the fireworks burger, it was awful. I didn't bother eating more than half of it. The sauce on it really ruined it. I will not get that again. And the burger looked pretty looking too. Nothing like the picture and quite greasey. I can't comment on the other buyers, I'm sure they are fine. The fries sucked. Really dry and hard. Possible fried twice or overcooked. My family has visited this store maybe once a month since moving to this side of town a year ago. Perhaps we have bad timing, because regardless how many employees are working or customers are waiting, we always end up waiting for a while for our order. Tonight was not too bad, five or so minutes for food is not horrible, and the food was hot and seemed rather fresh which is a first for my experience with this store. After my two children and I ate our burgers and fries we went back up to order ice cream. There were two orders a head of us and one behind us, plus a busy drive-thru so I knew it would take a bit to get our three ice cream cones. I was not expecting it to take over 10 minutes to get three cones, or for the male employee (tall, skinny, glasses, needs to shave) to touch the ice cream with his bare hands when the box of gloves was right in front of him. I did not expect him to be rude to myself or my children when he messed up the cones, or to call me a b*tch when I said, "you seem to be having a rough day, so I will take the cone, but it was supposed to be a twist cone." The little girl waiting next to us was offered a M&M arctic blast when she ordered peanut butter cup (and the screen said peanut butter), she waited almost as long as I did, the difference was that her food was sitting at the table with her parents getting cold while she waited for the Tom's Employee(s) to get their act together. I am disappointed with the service we have received from this store and will take our business else where, I hope others do the same also.
