I did a load of colors and used regular tide detergent. The washing machine bleached all of my dark colored cotton t-shirts and pants. In addition, not sure if they use bleach to clean their seating, but the back side of the pants I was actually wearing were bleached too! Not sure if they have a bleach bandit or if this establishment is just poorly ran, but obviously beyond disappointed! read more

the lady who works there is VERY VERY VERY RUDE. bertha is her name i believe. our house is being remodeled and we are out of a washer and dryer. We had my two year old son with us and had 5 washers being occupied. we did a huge load of white towels and had 5 dryers full. spent A LOT of money washing and drying. we had confused a dryer that we were continuously adding money on to be our white clothes, and the rude lady who worked there approached us very rudely and said "why are you touching my towels, those are my towels, don't touch my towels". very hostile and absolutely uncalled for the way she approached us. this is our second time washing since being without a washer and dryer and we will no longer be going back. do not have people who are that rude working in a place that serves the public. read more

We have lived in Antioch for almost 5 years now, and I've driven by this place many times, but never had to go since we have our own washer. Well, our washer is currently not working, and we all know laundry waits for no one, so I had to make the trip here. First impression: they have a lot of washers, which looks good at first, but there are definitely limitations to them. This place takes quarters (which is probably your best bet) and they also have these cards that you can load money onto, then swipe through their machine. Not all the machines will take this card though, so you have to look out for the little taped signs they put up letting you know if the machine only takes quarters, or if it only takes the card. I went on a Tuesday morning, which I would think wouldn't be so crowded, but this place definitely gets a lot of business. I'm only giving this place 2 stars because of the limitations the machines have, and because they didn't have the AC going, which typically wouldn't bother me, but I think we all know how hot it can get during the summer, so AC is a must. They also have an on site attendant, but she wasn't very pleasant. I dread that I have to go back at least one more time until our washer is fixed. Do I recommend this place? Definitely wouldn't be my first choice, but living out here, not many laundromat's around, so I'll take what I can get. read more

I've only had to come here sporadically over the year since they've opened and I personally have not had any issues. They're typically clean. there's always an attendant walking around cleaning up. I normally don't ever go to the laundromat but my washer is currently having issues. I just wanted to say it is very clean when you come inside it wasn't that busy when I came in today I was able to wash my laundry and it does get hot in there especially right now since it's summer . As my clothes were drying, I was starting to get hot. I noticed they had a vending machine and I seen a water bottle. I asked the man that worked there How much is it since there's no price he then said $1.50 I told him nvm thank you .....I was not going to pay $1.50 for a bottle of water when I could just get it at Costco for .25 cents a single bottled water I just don't agree with the price I hope they can read this and change the price of water bottles because 1.50 is not okay especially since we're already paying them to use the washers /dryers . read more

The dryers have no signage for how many minutes each .50 cent payment cycle covers... +plus no explanation how to add all the minutes you want on dryers, especially if using a credit card. I would give 0 stars if I could. I will never use this laundromat again. When I was there the I used a POD to wash. The machine begins to overflow from the top of machine. I was rudely told by the attendant that I needed to "break up" the POD first before using it. I have washed for many years and have never been told this. I was able to finish washing, and folding. Hours after I got home, I realized I left some of my clothes there. I called the next morning and talked to a nice guy on the phone. He told me that my clothes were there, and he would bag them for me. I thanked him and told I would be there to get them after I got off work @ 4pm. He said no problem. I went there after I got off work, and there was an extremely rude lady attendant. She was very rude. She refused to listen to what I was telling her. She rudely told me my stuff wasn't there, and argued with me. She wouldn't help me at all, and told me it wasn't her problem. I don't understand why she is so nasty to their customers, and I feel she kept my clothes because I noticed an empty bag thrown to the side of the office she showed me. I have to give a huge rave to this establishment. We have brought in our huge king UGG brand comforter this laundromat several times since moving here last year to drop off clean and pick up. The price is very reasonable and we are happy to pay.Every time we pick up I can't wait fall asleep in our bed, it smells amazing is cleaned with care in mind is double wrapped in plastic to hold the scent and cleanliness upon pick up. I was surprised to see how nice it was inside. Really clean laundromat with a lot of washers and dryers. They have a number of large load washers which is really nice. it was $5.50 for a regular load and $7.50 for a 6x load I believe. To dry it is $.25 for every 6 minutes. They have a vending machine with detergent and other laundry items and a food vending machine. The machines take quarters only and cards, very convenient. There was an attendant in there if something was not working right. I went on a Wednesday Afternoon and it wasn't busy, there was a number of washers and dryers still available, I didn't have to wait. read more

Need the dryers to be cleaned better. Before the change of ownership my clothes never got burned. Now my childerns soft blankets and pajamas are ruined... I used medium heat and only 30 mins. Now they are trash.. I looked up what could have been the issue Proper temperature regulation in dryers depends on adequate airflow, which can be hindered by lint buildup or incorrect installation. Other causes of clothes burning include malfunctioning internal parts like the thermostat and heating element. DO NOT DRY SOFT CLOTHES OR BLANKETS. Like Fleace or Mexican style blankets... better to line dry at home. read more

Needed to wash comforters so I went to Tom's. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've been here. Every time It is clean, all machines work. There is always an attendant if there is an issue. The best part is that you can use/swipe your ATM with the machines versus making sure you have enough cash/ quarters. read more

I come here all the time because it's the cleanest and more modern laundromat in the area. It's normally very clean but today it was so nasty. I mean there was stuff on the floor every where. There's a young man that works here and he keeps it very nice. The lady today all she did was wash and fold and talk to her friend the entire time. Never took a look at the condition of the place. This is my go to place for laundry. But it do get busy here. I must say is is kept clean. Today had the worst experience. Left my tide and downy in the cart with my black plastic bag covering them near my washer. Went to the car for at least 5 mins; came back and everything was GONE. Someone stole my Tide and the downy. Checked the garbage and on top of the washer but NOTHING. Everything was gone even the garbage bags. The laundry attendant said she was too busy washing clothes, she didn't see anything. I wish I can give this place a 5 star rating but due to unfortunate events... I'm only able to give 2 stars. 1 star for cleanliness, and 1 star due to poor customer service. I was loading my laundry, and turned around to the smaller washers (didn't even leave my spot) literally just turned around and had my Bulk Tide soap & Bulk Downy softener STOLEN right behind my back. Tried to ask the Manager/ woman in charge, she swept it under the rug and refused to help me and wouldn't give any video footage of the thief. Practically, begging her to help resolve the issue. Very impressive for the hood it's in. Lots of machines of all different sizes. I like the fact they accept credit cards bc sometimes getting change and being left with a bunch of quarters can be a pain. The establishment is new but I don't think that would deter the the cleanliness of it. For their grand opening they're offering free drying provided you wash your clothes there. The only thing that I would recommend is that they turn the heat up on the dryers. Management gave me 24 minutes I had two dryers both not full loads and some on my clothes were damp. Beware this business preys on folks who can't wash at home. I have a washer and dryer at home , but not large enough to fit three full size sub zero sleeping bags at once and I wanted to get it done and over in a short period of time. I took my families sleeping bags to wash after many hunting and camping trips the place is clean and maintained with an on staff person. I won't give it a full five stars due to lack of transparency in their charge. The largest machine states 13.50, but my credit card was automatically charged 14.00 same with the dryers and additional charge. In addition, the machines state x amount of minutes per quarter, but to my surprise a couple of minutes were shaved off as soon as the machine starts tumbling and yes I used a timer so unless these machines do t follow the standard 60 seconds per min. rule they are stealing time off your quarter. My suggestion try a different business that's a little more honest with its charges, not worth the risk. Or pay cash only!Obviously I'll debate this charge with the help of my credit card and before you assume there is a surcharge nowhere in the entire facility is it posted that credit card charges are surcharged. The service here was great Jeanette and Rebecca were very friendly and readily available for anyone who needed their help. It's extremely clean and there are vending machines if you forget something. I like the fact that they have futons instead of chairs and there are plenty of washers and dryers. There was also a tv with cartoons on for kids. Another thing that is nifty is that you can use quarters or cards! So I didn't have to bring cash, but if you have cash they can break down large bills and also turn bills into quarters. There are plenty of long folding stations and stools for you to sit and fold. If you can't see the top of the washer they have stools for you stand on and the promotion right now is a free dry for the same day you wash. I was able to completely dry all my loads no problem!! Used to be my favorite laundramat. Clean with friendly helpful attendants, started coming when they 1st opened. Loved the blonde lady who used to be here, she was so nice. The old owners were polite and respectful. The owner would bring around cold iced drinks for free during very hot weather. He always had the air conditioning on & checked on the Senior Citizens to be sure they were okay. I came this time with a brand new "My Pillow" which says, "machine washable and dryable right on the tag, the tag is nice and bright, which shows it'snew. I saw signs no pillows, after putting the pillow in the washer, but mine said it was made for that. So, not sure what they meant maybe decorative pillows with stuff that might come off? Anyway, washed the pillow, & put in the dryer. The young male attendant with glasses and a man bun, literally turned off my dryer remotely while sitting on his Apple computer, in the office, he was apparently watching what you put into your machines. I tried to show him the label where it said it was designed for machine wash & dry. He wasn't interested. So now I have a soaking wet pillow to try to dry at home. Also, after he turned off my dryer, I had just put 8 quarters in, he had to remotely check with someone before he'd add the money back in. He couldn't take my word for it. So, despite these being commercial machines designed to take large heavy loads they will determine what you are allowed to wash, which if you actually read all the many signs posted, which I hadn't, is precious little. Previously, here they've trusted your judgment that you were being careful and respectful of the machines and you would assume liability if your laundry damaged their machines. Also, clothes are much wetter from the washers, doesn't extract as well as before. I noticed previously that the dryers take a lot longer to dry too. So, after this being just the last of several very negative experiences with this new crew and I won't be back. I feel they don't like white people very much as they are always very rude to me & a couple of others who used to come here. They have air conditioning which they don't use and they treat you like you're too stupid to know how to properly wash laundry. And at my age believe me, I know how to wash laundry. Just very negative unwelcoming experiences overall. Now I know why the parking lot was nearly empty. This place used to always be really busy. I went here on Thursday morning. My first impression was, nice, clean, a restroom, appliances are big enough. However, there isn't a sign telling YOU that if you use a credit/debit card that there's a $30.00 HOLD on it. I spent $7.50 to wash. Was told the hold is only FIVE HOURS! It took TWO DAYS, for me to get my money back. I may return to do laundry there again, because of the convenience. HOWEVER, I'LL NVR USE MY CARDS there. holding that much money for that period of time, ISN'T right. TWO DAYS! read more

Great service just beware that if you use your debit/credit card for the machine the minimum is $10. I used my card for the dryer because I ran out of cash. I should have only been charged $2.50 but my bank reflected $10. I went back the same day and was told the money should be back in my account by today but I am still waiting. been coming here since moving into my apartments almost a year ago & every time I come here it's CLEAN & staff is always working & ready to help if you need them for anything. bathroom is also ALWAYS clean. I am always impressed with the cleanliness of this place. their dryers work great as well, most places their dryers only get lukewarm and it takes forever for clothes to be thoroughly dry. I usually bring a few loads and am in & out in about 45 mins to an hour. read more
