I used this cleaner for a while without a problem. Dropped my clothes off dirty, picked them up clean. It was a bit annoying that they did cash only under ten dollars, but it wasn't a huge deal. I realize I'm a bit lazy to not carry even ten dollars on me, so I never held that against them. The problem came when they ruined one of my shirts. I picked the shirt up and it had a huge tear in it. The tear was 1.5 to 2 inches long and apparently happened before they starched the shirt since the threads were stuck to the fabric. When I pointed it out to the owner she looked surprised and then said, "It must have come in like that." Well, if it did come in like that you'd think they'd say something and not wash it. Why would I have them press a shirt with a tear in it? To her credit, even though she initially denied it was her, she quickly accepted the blame. The only problem was she didn't want to pay for the shirt. We went back and forth on the value of the shirt, which is to be expected, and ultimately agreed on $40. She asked if she could try to replace the shirt instead of pay for it, and I agreed. Two weeks later she was still looking for a replacement. We agreed that in another two weeks she would have either a check or a new shirt for me. When the time came she tried to sell me on a shirt that was nothing like mine but she could buy online for $20. When I told her I'd prefer the check, she handed me a check for $20. Again we went back and forth, but finally she did write me the check for the agreed amount. What was so bad about the whole thing is that had she simply written me a check for the fair value of the shirt in the beginning I'd be writing a positive review and be a loyal customer. read more

I bought a beautiful dry clean only shirt from Macy's. It was not cheap. I threw it in the dryer to get some wrinkles out and my dryer sucked it up in the vent! It had a lot of static and square vent pattern on it I put it back in dryer with a dryer sheet(which now I know is not what you do). Took it out and it was stained alllll over. RUINED. I gave it to them and its perfect! She worked on it and you can't tell anything was wrong. It hardly cost anything. I take my things here all the time and they have never let me down. Brought in my mom's mother-of-the-bride dress for cleaning after the wedding, and my wedding dress to be cleaned and boxed to be preserved. My mom's came back mostly clean. She noticed one spot when they presented it to us at pickup and they promptly cleaned it for us before we left. My wedding dress came back two weeks late, but they send those off to be cleaned, so I don't know that they should be faulted for that one. since it's in a preservation box, I couldn't check to see if the mud came out (outdoor photos on a rainy day.) read more

Why do we go to this dry cleaners??? We just do (creatures of habit). Mostly do a good job, but on two occasions they couldn't get stains out of a garment, but still charged us. "Dat stain is reary haad to get off gaament" was all they had to say. read more

About 2 years ago i brought my sons suit to be cleaned and reinforcing the buttons. They didnt do the buttons.. 2 weeks ago my son went to his homecoming so i needed to get his shirt dry cleaned. I took just the shirt there and it came out good. Last week i took the entire suit to be cleaned. I asked them to reinforce the buttons again. She safety pinned the button so she wouldnt forget. I picked up my sons suit 2 days ago. When i got home the safety pin was still there. The button wasnt fixed..Then i start really looking at the jacket and it was still dirty. That was my final straw. I went in today to let her know my experience and tell her i won't be coming back. Seems shady.., but foresure dont pay attention to detail. Turned a pair of pants in to get a button replaced and a tank top to be stitched where the strap ripped on Monday morning for $29.00, pick up time was that Thursday at 4 PM. I get there Friday around 12 and my clothes haven't been fixed. When she asked my name she looked confused and started looking around. Then turns to her left and I seen clothes all balled up on the far corner of the counter. In those 5 days my clothes were not fixed and some how reek of cigarettes (I don't smoke). When I asked why they smelled like cigarette smoke she nodded and said "no smell like smoke" .I explained I had to go pick up my baby, so they wither need to be fixed within 5 min or I want my money back. She said she could fix them. 34 min later she finishes, worst stitch job ever; the strings were completely loose. I asked for her to cut them, she did, still multiple string hanging off. I then asked if I can just use her scissors so I can fix it myself, she tells me hold on and she will do it. Another 5 min later I tell her I really need to go and I just want my money back, she gives me ONE dollar back!!?? Horrible service. I will never come here again. Now waiting for them to be fixed at another place since the stitching in my shirt came completely undone, also when I got home the first thing I got asked when I walked through the door is "why do you smell like smoke" the clothes reeked that bad. I recommend everyone finding another place that actually values their customers! Not one did this lady even say sorry, perhaps if she did I could of accepted it. read more
