Everywhere says they are open until 11:30 but they actually close at 11 Really earlier Basically you have to start 10 maybe 10:30 And if the lady that worked at night was a little kinder, patient and could be understood better it would have not been so frustrating Do the right thing I strongly suggest you change your posted hours if someone comes from far away because yo are open the latest only to be turned away it's not good for anyone do better read more

Happy Laundry gets the job done. It's nothing fancy, but it's functional, and I appreciate that. The floors could definitely use a cleaning, but overall the place is decent. One big plus: they have a bathroom available, which is something I'm super thankful for. They do charge an extra 4% if you pay by credit card, but honestly, I'd rather do that than deal with coins. For me, it's worth the convenience. I'll likely come back when I have a large load of laundry or need to wash bulky bedding. read more

This is a great laundromat. They have plenty of washing machines and dryers that carry big loads. I like the addition of arcades and games for the kids to keep them busy and entertained. They also have a coin machine for change and seating areas for people waiting around. I do wish they had a sink to wash hands, etc. Overall, Happy Laundry is an excellent laundromat. I can tell the owner takes good care of the place by maintaining the machines and issues. I also like the ease of swiping my card for payment as oppose to using quarters; it's more efficient. I used my debit card for 2 laundry machines and they charged me $20.00 for each swipe! There's no way to contact Ryan or a human being, and the cleaner doesn't speak English (shocker). I will be taking them to small claims court! Do not use a Debit Card! read more

Been coming here for several years pretty relaxing and clean environment. Today was my first day ever having an issue I loaded the machine with my coins tried to start the cycle. Unfortunately the sensor was indicating the door was still open when it was closed and locked. Reach out to the phone number that's posted in the event there's not an attendant on duty, and the owner was very responsive immediately Venmo to me my refund. I have been going to Happy Land Laundry for past 6 years, even before the current owners. I've always enjoyed the variety of three different sized industrial washers, and the two different sized dryers. Despite the machines that break down and stay that way for months at a time, and the bathroom that is permanently locked (because I was told the homeless try to bathe in there/and back-up the toilet with rags on purpose). I also appreciate the early hours of operation (5 am) even though the door automatically opens at 4:30. The convenience of being able to use your debit/credit card if you don't want to mess with quarters is a plus. These are beneficial features that have kept me coming back and spending close to $100 every other week to do family laundry. But for the past 4-5 months there has been an increasing problem with an infestation of cockroaches. When the lights pop on when you first open the door at 4:30, the floor is cluttered with them, scurrying to hide under the machines. Their dead carcasses from the weeks before that we have squashed are still prevalently displayed all over the floor/ which tells me they don't bother with a janitorial service to mop floors. The increase in the roach problem has grown to where these pests are crawling into your laundry totes, purses, and even fresh laundry that you lay out to fold on the folding tables. It's a matter of time before you're not able to catch those pesky hitchhikers and take them home with you, and now you've got an inherited problem caused by Happy Land Laundry. This is a lawsuit just waiting to happen. It's such a shame because at one point the owners seemed to have some pride in the operation of this place. It seemed like the owner had his family doing things at first, as I would see young kids collecting the money from machines and would see them wiping down counters and even putting up seasonal decorations (Halloween/xmas). But not anymore. It's been neglected for a while now and it's literally an automated turnkey business. I understand that's what most laundry mats are designed for, but the lack of cleanliness is another subject. At least hire a janitorial service to come in maybe once a month to do some basic cleaning. At the absolute minimum, you need to hire exterminators to get a handle on the roaches before YOUR CUSTOMERS bring them home with their laundry and then sue you. Very disappointed and UN Happy at Happy Land. Please treat Your Customers better. read more

This laundromat is open until 11:00, which is later than all other laundromats. This place is so hot I have never been in a laundromat that is this hot. The machines take either quarters or credit card, it doesn't tell but if you use your card it charges you a fee. There is no attendant on premises so if you have a problem idk what you do maybe there is a phone number. They don't have a lot of machines but there are lots of places to fold your clothes. read more

I come to this laundromat weekly and although it's not the cleanest I mind my business and do my laundry. They have 2 big washers that I appreciate to use however usually 1 of the 2 is "out of service" - today I decided to give a review because I put all my clothes in the washer and went to get quarters to pay but both of the change machines were not working. Really inconvenient since I only bring cash to wash my clothes.... As most other people do as well. read more

When this place first opened it was my favorite place to come do laundry because it was so clean... but unfortunately that has definitely changed. I still come here it's nicer than the other ones... it it's gone a little down hill. Also the restroom has been closed the entirety of the pandemic and it was rarely open before...but it would be nice not to have to drive home to go to the bathroom. I've almost fallen 3 times today on dryer sheets. I know it's the customers leaving them around... but heck... it seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen. read more

I've been here 3 times since moving to brentwood. I like this place because they accept card & have really big washers. I would give this place a higher rating but no one is ever there if you run into an issue or need something. It's never kept clean. The floors always have trash from other customers. I will say when a machine took my money someone on the phone line did help me immediately so that's a plus. This place needs minor improvements but has a lot of potential. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! If I could give it a negative star I'd give it two! It's filthy most of the time, the machines are dirty and will malfunction with no way to recover your lost money, there's no attendant present and the doors lock 15-20 minutes prior to the posted closing time. So if your clothes are inside and you step outside for any reason around that time and no one is there to let you back in, congratulations! You must now wait until the doors unlock the following business day to retrieve them and that's IF no one walks off with them prior to then. The owner is well aware of these issues and doesn't seem to care so why give them a penny of your money? There are other laundromats in Brentwood with no where near the problems. My advice, if you must use a laundromat, save yourself the headaches and patron literally anywhere other than Happy Laundry. read more

I'm giving it a 3 because, it's not as clean as it used to be, and machines have water by it on the floor too often.

Washers work fine I didn't have a problem with that . But the dryer does NOT dry . All I had put in was a blanket, it was still wet after 50 min , put another 30 min and it was STILL wet . That's a total of 80 minutes and a waste of money , first and last time coming here . read more

I have been coming to the Happy Laundry for the past four weeks, as we are visiting the area. It has been fine and fairly clean, however this morning was horrible. I walked into the building as a man was changing his colostomy bag. I tried to speak with the security guard that walks the complex, but he basically told me to mind my own business. I like the washer size and quality of the machines but I do feel they were a bit over priced along with the vending machines. The floors were clean and environment was nice but the machines were dirty and dusty and lots of trash was left around by other customers. Living in an apartment complex, this was the best way to do laundry because there's a ton of machines and I'm always able to get in and out quickly. For the last year or so that I've been coming here it has been decently clean, machines usually work correctly. The last few times I've came here though, it's been disgusting. Trash everywhere, cockroaches crawling all over the ground. Homeless people frequent this area and will harass you, they also go inside the laundromat and open dryers and steal clothing. I hate that I have to do laundry here but unfortunately it's one of the few options in the area. read more

There are some people who do not wear face masks which put a risk on other people's lives. With the governor's new order mandating everyone to wear a mask especially in public places, someone needs to enforce the rule of wearing a mask in this facility: No mask, no entry.! Yes there are signs on the wall, but these do not make a difference to some people who would use this facility without masks on. Let's all be more responsible citizens. read more

I've been going to this place since it started business and I can say it was so satisfying in a sense that the facility is clean and well maintained. The asian couple who use to run this were very clean, they see to it that the stainless tables are streak free even the laundry equipment are wiped off of suds and soap but now, it is very dusty, the staff who are assigned to clean it comes to clean right at the moment when there are customers doing their laundry which is soooo annoying knowing that we go there to clean our laundry and the cleaners do their dusting and cleaning at the same time that flies back to our clean/just washed clothes? Where is the consideration??? Can't they use some strategy of time when to keep this facility really cleaned and not during customers are busy? I think I swallowed so mush dust when that cleaner guys started clearing the dustpans underneath.... Very inconsiderate read more
