I arrived on Saturday morning around 8am and it was already packed with the bowling teams and their families so I found a nearby chair along the wall to sit and watch the teams bowl. The huge, digital display above the pins made it easy for everyone to keep track of the scores and whenever there were any issues, the staff would come and quickly resolve the problem. Even though the tournament was going on, they still offered lanes at the other end of the bowling alley for people to come in and bowl leisurely, which I thought was very nice. VSU bowled very well and ended up being awarded First Place in the Northern Division. My daughter was awarded Highest Scorer in the Northern Division as well. It was a phenomenal weekend and I'm so glad I was able to attend.

A lot of interesting holes, some housing along the course but never intruding with big setbacks and plenty of holes routed through woodlands and no houses. Felt like a good country club course. I would recommend the course to any mid to better player. I played it about 6,700 yards or so and that was a challenge. Tips would be tough if you're not 300 off the tee regularly.

The cost is good as well. I enjoy the range. You will practice on real grass and the tees are moved on the large tee boxes to allow grass to be filled and grown. Very large range area with flags for targets. I wish they were in my area. I would be there 3 times a week. It does get very busy on weekends which is a testament to the quality of the venue.

From the back it can be a monster but fair from the white middle tees. Greens were excellent and rolled true. Fairways were bermuda, tree lined with pines and natural sandy areas like all Pinehurst area courses. This course is very appealing to the eye. Starting holes are friendly giving you some width to free up your swing but it gets more difficult as the round progresses. Good carts, smallish grill and clubhouse. I was here for golf. Don't expect the treatment you get at the Pinehurst Resort courses. The layout is first rate.

I was here late July and the conditions were not very good. Tee boxes were chewed up and the fairways were so muddy I had to clean the ball after each hit. However, you can't really blame the course for the amount of summer rain they get. Price for play was good. I thought the price of balls for the driving range was a little high for the amount of balls you get. The club/ course is a bit more on the upscale end. Collard shirts are required. The club house has a bar and grill and is a pretty nice place to hang out after a game. Over all I really like kings grant. The current conditions aren't great but that will change with the weather. I think that this is one of the nicer courses in the area.
