I have been searching for a salon and stylist that truly cares about the health of your hair and who knows how to cut hair properly. Most salons CANNOT cut hair professionally even though they charge you for said "professional cut." Angela will give you an outstanding cut. I firmly believe that my hair grew faster and healthier because of it. My hair was so damaged, tangled and breaking off from hormones and stress. Angela was so sweet and extremely informative about hair health and products. She has a pleasant and gentle energy that transfers to how she handles the service that you're getting. She is honest and gives you all the information regarding your hair as well as how to take care of it "after" the appointment. Every single time I go to Angela my hair looks and feels so healthy, shiny and gorgeous. My scalp feels clean and my my hair has so much body. I also asked her to lighten up my hair since it's pretty thick and summer is right around the corner. She did a great job! Meriam is friendly and easy to get along with and talk to while she does your hair. The thing I appreciate most though is that she is very accommodating. I wear hijab (headscarf worn for religious purposes) so I usually look for a private area with just me and the stylist to get my hair cut. Meriam ensured that a privacy screen was up around our area and was very mindful of other clients scheduled around my time. I was really grateful to find a place where I felt comfortable!

I left feeling embarrassed and devastated. What made the experience even worse was how the owner handled it. Instead of acknowledging what happened or trying to make it right, I was told the solution was to buy hair extensions--the exact thing I was trying to avoid by getting my hair cut in the first place. When I expressed that I wasn't happy with that "solution," I was met with hostility instead of compassion. Rather than taking accountability, the owner chose to ban me from the salon. Months later, I noticed they had a new stylist and thought maybe I'd give the salon another chance. Unfortunately, the owner's attitude hadn't changed. She was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Everyone makes mistakes, including hairstylists. What separates a good salon from a bad one is how they handle those mistakes. In my experience, there was no accountability, no genuine concern, and no effort to make things right. If this is how customers are treated after their hair is ruined, I can't recommend this salon to anyone.
