Basic hotel with basic amenities. Great value and the folks who run it are very nice. Will come here again.

The Strawberry Inn - Airstream #4

I can't rave enough about The Strawberry Inn. I've stayed here many times throughout the years and…read moreit is just the quintessential solo staycation spot, year round. In the winter, I love just staying in the main rooms or any of the cottages and decompressing, relaxing, staying warm. In the summer, it's the perfect area to go on some great hikes (I recommend Highline, Wildcat, and Fossil Creek of course). The rooms/airstreams are immaculate - with a truly relaxing, rejuvenating aesthetic. I've stayed in the queen and king rooms with couch, desk etc as well as the cottage and airstream which have more space and little kitchenettes perfect for making a small breakfast or reheating some leftovers. Service is really top tier- especially considering everything is hands-off, and there's no physic host/ess property manager on site- but Mike the Elk answers promptly and fulfills all reasonable requests to ensure your stay is just about perfect. Highly recommend coming here just for the inn alone- all of the other activities, restaurants and attractions will follow! @azfitfoodfun

We loved our stay at the Strawberry Inn! Such a perfect getaway…read more I'll preface by saying there were only 2 of us so take that into account. Stayed here for the first time in March 2026. We stayed in Airstream #4 and it was perfect. Very private and a nice view. There are some homes nearby but nothing super close. Loved the chairs, fire table, and the hot tub! Even had elk and deer walk right by the campsite while we were there, it's awesome! The inside of the Airstream was nice! Queen size bed, super comfy. Spacious enough with a couch and mini kitchen and fridge. Even had a TV and wifi. The bathroom does not have a door - so if you're coming with friends, beware! There is a Keurig too. I do wish the properties were spaced out from each other more. You are very close to the other rentals. Especially walking around. Saw tons of families so kids definitely could make the trip. You can easily walk up to Windmill Coffee or the PIEbar! Definitely recommend both. The communication with the staff and concierge was very easy and quick responses. We didn't have any issues during our stay. Truly felt like we were able to step away and be on our getaway. It's such a quiet and peaceful area. Couldn't recommend the Strawberry Inn more! We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to come back!

They take care of everything want to make your stay perfect. They also prepare 5 Star quality meals. They have many activities for all ages. A saloon with pool table. They also have a custom made shooting gallery. If you're e looking for a place to stay in Young with a large group, I strongly suggest the Deadbroke Inn. Plenty of secure parking for your cars and even has room for trucks and trailers if this is your staging point. This place is still making improvements as it is under new ownership. This place has character and super fun. If you're looking for a 5 five-star hotel, this place isn't for you. It is clean and comfortable though and very welcoming. Will definitely be going back in the future. Looking forward to it.

This little gem in Young, AZ is complete with unique & cozy accommodations with amazing views and, of course, Robin and Karla. My boyfriend and I were invited by a good friend & there were 7 of us total. No particular agenda or specific plans were made for this little trip, but we were plenty occupied and engaged the entire time. We stayed in the Saloon/Guesthouse (which Robin built, by the way!) and it was plenty of space for everyone. Upon arriving Saturday morning, we met Robin & Karla and proceeded to unload our vehicles. After that, we spend some time observing their horses and soaking in the beautiful weather. Robin & Karla were filling us in on some of the history of the area. I could listen to them talk for DAYS. They're such great storytellers and their passion for digging into the past in an effort to preserve it is really admirable. After about a hour or so, Robin took us out into the woods.. Not sure exactly where we went, but he hopped on his quad and we followed behind (caravan of SUVs & pickup trucks). The road was windy and bumpy and we got some weird looks from the cattle as we blazed passed. We spent a few hours hiking down to some water while Robin filled us in on more history. Some of us panned for gold, others explored the area (found an abandoned mine) or fired some rounds nearby. It was a nice, relaxing morning. We went back to the Inn around 130p and Robin started showing us how to rope. A couple of us gave it a shot.. I didn't. I just stood back & took photos :) Then around 330p, we went up the road to a winery for a tasting (Bruzzi Vineyard.. I'll review separately). We returned a couple hours later with several bottles of wine and started cooking/grilling dinner. Robin & Karla joined us for dinner and conversation in the saloon. We played pool & had a very relaxing evening. Sunday morning didn't really have much on the agenda. After breakfast, Robin & Karla took us up the road to the Hogland General Store and gave us a tour of the structures on the land. Again, more information about the history and the people that lived in Young years ago. It was all very interesting. We will definitely be back & hope to have time for a longer stay.

We had had the venue booked since February 2020 and they did an awesome job of staying in contact and answering all the questions I had along the way. The property is BEAUTIFUL and the cabins were all stocked with the necessities and super clean! Of course, our wedding day was the only day of the week that there was expected to be thunderstorms...and there were! However, Rick went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with the adjusted setup and did everything he could to make sure everything ran smoothly...it was perfect! The day after, their crews helped us clean up what wasn't cleaned up the night before and we were able to check out on time. Seriously, every person at the Cabins on Strawberry Hill is so kind, helpful, and understanding. 12/10 would recommend having your wedding here and don't worry if it rains..Rick has your back and it makes for some pretty epic photos! Poorly managed. Poorly maintained. What a rip off for over $200 per night. I will not stay there…read moreagain- well worth the drive to Globe/Miami. The room key-cards rarely worked. The front desk clerk left at 5 pm, so we were quite concerned our key would not let us back in the hotel after dinner. Thank goodness it did, because the keys didn't work the next mornin, and I would have been locked outa my room. Our room was not cleaned. We only had one towel. Sheets were stained. No toiletries. Not even soap! When I asked Audrey for soap, shampoo and conditioner and towels, I just got one towel, and no just conditioner. Audrey said they had no conditioner, and had no "bar" soap, and then she handed me a partially-used, already opened travel-size liquid facial cleanser. There were two rat/mouse traps positioned under my bedside table. Not a great feeling. The shelf in the shower was broken off and missing. The TV and continental breakfast were a complete waste of time. The leather sofas in the lobby were cracked and worn, and looked like they had sat outside in the sun all summer. Too bad. They made an effort to refurbish the place, but didn't hire the right people to look after it. Sad story and a waste of my money. BUYER BEWARE!

Rather than attempting to sleep in a room with no AC I picked him up and he stayed the night with us in our Airbnb. The following morning (Saturday) he went to his room showered and left the room. Long story short he never once slept in the hotel room which was purchased from Friday - Sunday. Per the Hotel manager since the shower was used there was no option for a refund.. pretty expensive shower $428 to be exact. Poor communication on managements part and pretty disappointed how the entire situation was handled.
