Regardless, it is generally a great place to catch a show. Through the years, I have seen many great shows here including Flogging Molly, The Shins, Prince, Interpol, and many others. I hadn't been in a couple years, but last week my husband and I went to see The Human Leave, Soft Cell, and Alison Moyet (Yaz). It was an incredible show. Starting out, there are a few things that I dislike about the venue. First, because it is on a college campus, parking can be difficult and you are basically forced into the $30 paid parking garage. Also, I was suffering from a recent sports injury, making the trek across campus to the theater a bit of a task. In the past, the lines for swag and drinks have been nearly impossible, though, this time, they were much improved. Finally, the trek to the ladies' room is a bit far depending on your seat. Also, it is not a large restroom and the line goes slowly, However, it is clean. On the flip side, there are a lot of positive points to this venue. The location is generally decent as it is not far from town. Despite the crowds coming in for shows, it doesn't take too long to get in and out of the parking lots. The event staff consists of many college students working concessions or ushering, and they are very friendly. It is really a nice, open, outdoor, relaxing venue. There is not a bad seat in the house (as many other reviews state). I have been in front, in back, and in the middle. I have been able to see and hear the show very well from each of my seats. It has also been my experience that the crowd has been generally a well-behaved, polite group, though I guess you can't alway count on that. All in all, it is a great place to catch a show, especially during the beautiful San Diego summer months.

Did we have to watch some screen to see the artists? No. (Also, they didn't have screens so... clearly unnecessary.) Bathrooms were surprisingly clean and flowed quickly. Merch and drink lines also went quick. Parking Garage 6 was like... dead. I paid ahead and no issues. I suppose most people use Garage 3? I dunno. This is a winner winner chicken dinner in my book! I'd call this a medium-ish (lower end of medium) event location. (Casinos would be small, stadiums would be large. Garth Brooks hosting stadiums would be XL. Lol) This all said, the steep stairs were shocking. I'm glad there wasn't pushing or shoving or anything crazy. Because I could definitely see someone falling. The only other time I've been concerned like this is when I had top section outfield tickets at Petco. (To give reference.) DEFINITE RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION! All the educators here are also very knowledgeable and encourage the students to learn and embrace the plethora of information thrown at them. So happy my son and daughter decided to attend SDSU, best decision ever! They are getting a great…read moreeducation and it is semi close to home. My daughter was part of the COVID class so she transferred in her junior year and had classes mainly on campus(which she loved). She commuted to/from school/home. She had early enough classes that she did not really have to fight for parking. My son is currently a sophomore there and has been living on campus. He was lucky to find Wonder roommates and friends and lived in locations on campus within walking distance of everything. So far it is hard work but he is enjoiyhis time at State. There are so many great clubs, organizations, and opportunities around campus. The trolly system is pretty good as well and a great means of transportation around San Diego if they do not have a car. My daughter graduated in 2024 and really enjoyed her time there. Very lucky to have them both near by for school. Great campus!!! Oh if near by you have to check out the turtle pond, it is so amazingly peaceful and tranquil.

I have had ample opportunities from SDSU for my future career and also to meet friends for life. The campus is absolutely stunning and has its own farmers market once a week in the main square area. They also have so many events on campus that they do an amazing job organizing. I think one thing that really stuck out to me, especially being out of state, was that I immediately felt at home here. I joined Greek life, student orgs, and had such an amazing experience where I was able to contribute to my personal and professional development. I will forever thank this school for everything it's given me and grateful that I've found a place. The one thing I will say, however, is that I lived in Chappy and that freshman dorm building needed help. But at the same time I was in the most social building, so that allowed me to meet the friends I have now!

There is so much to do in this section, it is close to Aztec Bowl and within walking of Trader Joe's. There is a nice Student Store where you can buy snacks and water or sodas. This program has not only good reputation, but also amazing instructors. All the instructors were so great. They have so much experience teaching in this field and was able to share many teaching skills and theories. One of my favorite parts was that I had a chance to teach in an actual class. I had to observe a class, learn how to teach from a mentor, and also got to know students and help them to learn English. It was a fabulous experience and it helped me a lot to find a job in Korea, where I used all the stuff I have learned in my classes. I still get update emails about job openings from all over the world from ALI and SDSU. How nice !! Wish I can write everything I have done. I can just say it's the most amazing program ever.

My favorite part is meeting so many like-minded classmates who are now lifetime friends. I would highly recommend ALI!
