I used Two Men and a Truck for my move from one condo to another. Being a single woman moving, I…read morecan say that the quick quote response via email made scheduling and estimating costs, from Paige and Courtney in the Fraser office, so simple and accurate. I've never moved on my own and the ladies were extremely patient and helpful. I wasn't sure of the exact day of my move and they were amazing at working with me to look at options and sent me detailed estimates for both a weekend move and a weekday move. My two movers showed up right on time, Dave and Zach. They were AWESOME. I was nervous knowing that complete strangers would be handling all of my personal belongings, but they were so friendly and answered all of my "first time moving" questions. They started the official start move time AFTER they looked at everything and planned how they would take it all down to the moving truck. I was moving from a second floor condo to another second floor condo; that was no problem for Dave and Zach. They took great care taking apart all of my bedroom furniture and wrapped everything to ensure nothing would be damaged. They managed to lower all of my patio furniture from my second floor balcony with ease. Some of the single lights and things that were too big for a box but too small to list as move items for the estimate, they took as well. These were items I was planning on coming back for and moving myself. Because they took EVERYTHING in the moving truck, I had very little to put in my Jeep. They even made sure to take great care of the signed Zetterberg jersey, packing it last. :) When they got to the new second floor condo, they were great at asking me where everything was to go. They did not randomly place things or just start stacking boxes everywhere. They even took the time to put felt pads on my big furniture items to protect the new wood flooring I had installed! I would give Dave and Zach 10 stars if I could. They never stopped, took zero breaks, and made the most out of every minute, keeping my cost down significantly. As soon as they were done unloading the last item in the moving truck, they announced the time so that we could note it and not pay for any time that wasn't directly involving moving. I paid for two movers who worked so productively and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. I do not know these two young men, nor do I have any affiliation with this company at all. I would suggest and highly recommend the Fraser Two Men and a Truck company, especially Dave and Zach, for anyone who is looking for a moving company. I rarely take time to write out reviews, but this move wouldn't have been manageable without the service of Two Men and a Truck and I want everyone to know how awesome my experience with them was.

They went way way way beyond our expectations and I would hire them again in a heartbeat! I had heard they were good, but to actually experience it was much better than just somebody's recommendation!

My crew, Derek and Justin were extremely efficient and communicative. They always asked me where and how I would like to have the things unloaded and placed, and were very respectful of my apartment. Ended up finishing everything and more than what I have asked for to unload in less than the quoted 2 hours! Would definitely consider using them again if needed to move. In a word: Don't sweat, leave it to the Big Guys!

I had to think long and hard about writing this review because I grew up with the philosophy "if…read moreyou don't have anything nice to say - then don't say anything at all". That being said - I don't want others to fall into the trap I did. My experience was similar to the many other voices here on yelp. I was provided with an "estimated hours time" to complete my move . . . everything in the house was packed and ready to load. Three men showed up late. One young guy was on his phone every time I walked outside to check progress on loading. A completely rude man kept asking to use my bathroom and then informed me I was out of toilet paper and did I have more. Needless to say I had a clogged toilet. They took more than twice the anticipated time to load the truck and behaved outrageously when I said I didn't have enough cash to pay them (since I planned for half the time). The man wanted to stay (alone) in my empty house while I went to the bank to get money. What kind of legitimate business demands payment in cash?! But the real reason I am writing this review is because most of what I loaded into the truck went into storage for a year. I just moved again and was able to unpack my things......crushed storage boxes, soo many broken items I can't even count, damaged furniture AND my very expensive commercial sized treadmill is broken. The day of the move I watched the bathroom idiot try to pick up the console by himself and as I was beginning to say, "don't....." - he dropped it upside down on my concrete drive. I was hopeful that since it was wrapped in foam and moving blankets it would be safe - but I should have known better. When I called the owner he started swearing at me and insisting everything was my fault and his men told him I was "difficult". Don't trust this man/company with your possessions! The clowns he hires to do the moving are unprofessional, rude, lazy and don't give a poo about how they treat your items.

Two guys showed up with a huge truck; took about 2 hours to load and drove the 60+ miles to my new home. I explained that I would have to leave before they finished, so I could drive back to Dearborn in the daylight (eyesight issues). That's when it all fell apart. I went back the next day to find plastic wrap strewn around the house, leaves all over the inside of the house, items left wrapped, a dirty bathroom and smoke smell. I contacted Fordson, and was told a slew of lies the worker told him; He said I told them not to enter the garage, FALSE. He said he couldn't find anywhere to dispose of the plastic wrap - THERE WAS A GARBAGE CAN IN THE DRIVEWAY NEXT TO THEIR TRUCK, I was told they aren't responsible for cleaning up after the job. I told Fordson I felt taken advantage of, being alone and older, and that his employee was lying. They made no accommodation and essentially blew me off once they were paid. My Advise: WATCH THEM EVERY MINUTE and make sure a man is around. They will lie and cheat and take advantage of a single woman. BEWARE.

Absolutely the worst experience moving ever! Everything seemed great until they showed up. We had…read morephone calls, texts and even a walk through where John even took notes. We felt confident. Boy were we wrong! $15k down the drain. Everything became a complaint or an argument. We had picked them specifically because they said they would build a crate for the lathe and charged another $1000 to do it. On the day John argued he would not move it and had never agreed to. Much less build a crate for it. I ended up providing makeshift materials and show them how to safely move it. When it got here things were bent and broken. While getting boxes in the truck two of them kept pushing each other around like two little kids. They eventually dropped a bed frame on the hardwood floor and then one pretended to be hurt. We saw it. It never touched him but he screamed it broke his foot and was bleeding. Yet somehow he had no issues moving boxes. The same two guys kept pushing each other around until finally one was thrown right where a snow plow was being moved. The plow flipped over and narrowly missed his foot! I turned white. The truck they brought was not big enough. They had to go and offload it and return. That took them 4 hours. We had to walk behind them around the house because they would constantly not grab all the boxes from rooms but close the door and say it was all done. Always an argument ensued. Things like yard equipment, glass and awkwardly shaped things were taken separately on the truck. When these guys arrived they had two trucks and just 3 people. As they opened the truck I saw one of my generators sitting upside down! The lathe was loosely strapped to the side of the truck sitting on the same material I provided. Things on it were bent and broken from bouncing around. All the yard equipment and awkwardly shaped items were just stuck in tall garment boxes. Trim pieces from my truck I had just painted were scratched and rubbed through. Ruined. Boxes were crushed. The guy with the "broken foot" kept limping around. John hardly did anything. Boxes were placed any which way pretty much anywhere. We had to insist and argue for boxes to be taken where they belonged. Things that went into storage were just chucked in and boxes placed right at the entrance. It was a mess. We gave up on having the furniture put back together as we just wanted them to leave.
