I had never heard of Juggernauts until I was looking for moving quotes a few months back. Within 30 minutes of submitting a quote request online, I received a call to go over what services I needed. They offered me a larger crew and more flat rate time for less money than any other movers I talked to, and I talked to just about all of them in the area. Come moving day, I received a call from the crew to give me an ETA which was actually earlier than their promised time. They got to work right away hauling my stuff to their truck. The crew was friendly and very helpful, and in about two hours they had me loaded, moved, and unloaded. Honestly I think the move went about as smoothly as it could. Worked w Rob over the phone to coordinate moving some furniture pieces from one home to another in Michigan, though I live in Illinois! My brother met the movers, and was extremely impressed with how meticulously they wrapped the furniture to prevent scratches while in transit. We were even able to pay a little extra to keep the padding the furniture was wrapped in. My wife and I senior citizens this was supposed to be our happy move into our forever home A simple move down sizing into our 3 bedroom home, yet it turned into a nightmare when Juggernaut moving company shows up with a pick up and a 20' trailer!!!!! I will say the two gentlemen that showed up did an outstanding job considering their boss owner or whoever in charge of this company sent them out with a 20' trailer for a 3 bedroom move What am I supposed to say the day of the move stop and get a bigger truck! I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Scheduling the move with Rob was a breeze. The day before the scheduled move, Rob called to confirm everything we had discussed. Rocky and Slim arrived on the dot, and strategized a plan to move, as we were making two stops - one to a storage unit and one to the house. They started moving immediately, and wasted no time. This was a big mistake to use this company. I have try to reach the owner of this company to resolve the issues. He has not return my calls. First My husband was recovering from open heart surgery and I'm disabled only having one hand and they left me a mess. The movers kept my key to the storage place. Plus they broke a couple of my pieces of furniture. Then they didn't give me the clips for shelving unit. So that wasted can't be put together. Let me start off by saying that the movers I had today: Jerome, Travis and Billy were exceptional. If this review were only about them I would have given them easily 5 stars. They arrived on time with all 3 of them at the door to introduce themselves. They were polite, accommodating and very willing to follow directions. They did not flinch after being asked to move items to different places even though this was supposed to a simpler move. They were professional and pleasant, stopping to chat and ask my opinion on placement of items Now why I gave them only 2 stars. Reservation was easy enough; however, the night before, the person who called to confirm was unaware of the time that I had given them from my Yelp message. Easy enough to change. The morning of my move I got a call 2 hours before my reservation and the movers were unaware of my scheduled time. They were accommodating at we settled on an earlier time. What my problem was that based on the quote I got on Yelp messenger, I paid an extra $20 per hour for the move and an additional cost for the travel fee from where the truck came from to my home. Now, I respect that people need to get paid, but when you need a mover in a pinch and they show up, as the only option left, and charge you and additional $135, its a nasty surprise. No sense in shooting the messengers as they were there to move my stuff. Overall, be aware that you will have to pay extra fees that are not explicitly spelled out. Follow through is good; however, they do not communicate amongst themselves to be on the same page. I can't speak highly enough of Rob and his team at Juggernauts Moving!! I called some other moving companies in the area and they were not as impressive as Juggernauts. I worked with Rob long distance to move the remaining contents of my parent's home in Michigan to my home in CT. My dad passed away last year and my mom is in an apartment now. We had several changes during the moving process including the closing on my parent's home unexpectedly being moved up by a few days. Rob was right there alongside us and willing to adjust as needed which I can say doesn't happen often with a moving company! He was easy to deal with by phone or text. We had a few balls up in the air during this long distance move and he made one part of our move less stressful! Thank you Rob! His team was phenomenal!! They cared about my parent's belongings as if they were theirs. They were personable, helpful, courteous and efficient. I can't say enough about them!! They were amazing! They moved furniture to my mom's apartment and then furniture we were donating to Salvation Army as well. And the charge was reasonable for their time! And it saved our backs!! They had to split up the team to go to another move but it was no issue! They stayed to help with the heavy lifting/furniture and the last team member was so efficient and helpful! Horrible company. Minus 10 stars. Worst moving experience ever! Underestimated our goods, cost us more than 3 times what they quoted. Damaged and broke several pieces of furniture, broken dishes, etc. Came 2 hours late and almost cost us more because we could not turn over the keys to our buyer on time. Dozens of calls, pictures and visits to document damage. All we got was a year of lies, broken promises, unreturned calls, grief and frustration before we finally gave up and ate the loss. I seriously cannot say enough good things about my experience today with the guys over at Juggernauts Moving & Storage. From the very beginning when I was on Yelp contacting movers to figure out who I wanted to use, Juggernauts stood out from the others. After talking to Rob on the phone, I was sold. Just a super nice, friendly person who recommended that I take the flat rate over their hourly rates because it sounded like that would be my best bet, money-wise. Oh, and their rates are super competitive too. Then the day of the move, the Travis and Tony showed up on time and were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were kind and considerate and took extra care with moving everything. I called Juggernauts Moving & Storage to get a quote for my move from my apartment to a house. Talked with Rob, very nice guy and very professional. Since we didn't have much to move he quoted me at most 3 hours and at the price of 135 dollars an hour. I never got the confirmation email from the secretary but that's not a big deal. Ended up having to call back because my move got rescheduled for a week earlier and they were more than willing to accommodate us. They showed up at around 10:30am, we were scheduled for 9am, then it got moved to 10am. One of the workers kept in constant contact with me, because unfortunately someone didn't show so he was coming in on his day off to help out. Really appreciated that! Rob and Frank were our movers and they were amazing, so funny, professional and personable. They moved everything from our apartment and into our house within two hours. My absolute only complaint was that my original quote did not include an additional cost for renting the truck so what I thought was the 135 for two hours ended up being around 370 dollars. We had enough to cover it, but that was a little bit inconvenient not knowing previously. Otherwise I would definitely hire Juggernauts again, no issues elsewhere. Thank you to Juggernauts for making what is usually a stressful situation very easy and lax! I had a tight timeline to be out of my apartment and Juggernauts was able to accommodate my schedule and put me at ease. I made the arrangements through Rob which was quick and painless. The rates he gave me were very reasonable and he explained everything to me (first timer with a moving company). Day before the move I called just to confirm time and size of truck and Rob knew all the details so I could let me storage company know. They were tardy, but one of the movers Rocky called me to let me know which I appreciated. Rocky and Slim were my movers and they were an awesome duo. Juggernauts is very affordable solution! I had Ed and Travis working for two hours to pack up my belongings. They got through my densely filled kitchen and dining room in that time. To be fair to them: I am a small business owner that works out of my home, so there was a lot of pack! They filled 30 boxes, and Ed was considerate not to make them too heavy for me. He also made sure to leave some daily-use items, like paper plates, so that I had them on hand before my actual move. I used Yelp's request-an-estimate tool and Ashley was very prompt in her responses. I was able to book my appointing directly through yelp with her - which was awesome! I also spoke to Rob, the owner, on the phone. He let me know the timeline of when to expect my packers; plus he called me after to make sure everything went ok and to see if I needed anything else. This company is reasonably priced and they have excellent customer service. If I had a bigger budget, I would have readily asked them to come back and help me with the rest of the house. read more

Warning!!!! Beware of this company. No call/No show on moving day. Never return phone calls, never showed up for second residence quote. I would call the owner Rob from my phone several times, leaving messages and he would not answer or return my calls. But, I would call from my husbands phone and he would answer. Beware!!!!! I called 2 weeks prior to the original move date and changed the day and was told it was no problem. I had used this moving company for a move last month. They moved my belongings from a storage in Troy to a one bedroom place in Birmingham. They neglected to move my furniture carefully and broke the head of a sprinkler unit, destroying my mattress and other furniture pieces too. I have used Juggernauts three times in the past for my own moves so when I had clients that had received a really high quote from another moving company I referred them to Juggernauts. Well this will be my last referral because my clients were charged almost double then the quote. My clients were willing and agreed with some of the "extra " charges but some charges were completely uncalled for and they had no reason to be charged them. They were charged an incredibly high fuel surcharge fee on top on being charged for driving time and gas.. BTW they were moving like 2 miles . Eventually after 3 days, several phone calls, and lots of following up they were given back a small amount of what they were overcharged but the whole experience was enough for me to stop referrals. No one would even get on the phone with them to discuss the extra charges it was ridiculous. read more

Found this company on Groupon, called and spoke with Rob. I was told I didn't have to purchase the Groupon and the price would still be honored. We set a time and date. I was told the movers would arrive between 2 and 3. At approximately 2:40 I received a call saying they were running late on another move and wanted to reschedule for the next day. I took off work specially for this reason, after explaining that, I was told they would arrive at approximately 4. They never showed or called. When I called, there was no answer. At 8 pm I get received a text message stating the movers got into an accident near my residence. (No offer to reschedule) I attempted to follow up with Rob several times the next day, desperately needing movers, but no returned calls. Update: received a message from the "owner" stating my review was made by another company. LOL no, just a customer that didn't receive services that were agreed upon. read more

Please save yourself extra stress and do not use this company. I read the many of the reviews ahead of time on Yelp and many of them were positive. I can only say that I think most of them are fake. I honestly don't know if I can even trust Yelp after my experience. They were late, unprofessional and in a word...lazy. The leader of the job was constantly texting and smoking. I had to continually watch them to make sure they were working, but even that did not seem to motivate them. At times I felt that they were rude and even disrespectful. They knew nothing of the requests or descriptions about the move that I had made ahead of time with the person I booked the job. They damaged the walls in my new place and even damaged up some of my furniture pieces because they were so sloppy and quite frankly, weak. This was the worst moving company I have ever used. I didn't tip because they sucked so bad and I have never done that. I would have cancelled the move early on in the experience but I was in such a bind I had to make it work. I found this company on Yelp, saw all their good reviews, and was able to set up a date and time on pretty short notice. I was told I could have two or three movers and opted for two, and was told there was a $135 fee plus $105 an hour for the movers. I called to confirm the day before and was told they would be out at 3:30-4pm. The morning of the move is when everything fell apart. I was called three times in a row while at work and left a meeting because I assumed something was wrong. Turns out their morning appointment didn't work out so I rescheduled for them to come at 12:30pm. They called an hour later to reschedule for 2pm because they morning job was back on, and then called at 2pm to say they were running late and it would be closer to 3pm. Around 3:45pm I finally got a phone call saying they were on their way, and they arrived an hour later. It was a huge, confusing mess and made planning the rest of my move a nightmare with their constant time changes. When they finally arrived there were three movers, not two like I requested. At that point I didn't even care if they charged a bit more for all three of them- I just wanted the job done. They all commented on how I didn't have much stuff and how it was an easy job moving items from a garage to a ranch home, and they finished in about an hour Then came the bill. I knew the $135 fee, but the extra mover and the travel charge were a shock, as was the 2 hour minimum. By that point I tried to give them a credit card that they supposedly accept, but they refused and wanted cash or Venmo. I told them I had neither so they settled for a check. Overall they had horrible communication, both in billing and arrival time. For anyone looking to hire them, please realize that you will pay $500+ for their services, no matter how small of a job. read more

We didn't get the opportunity to use them to actually move - as my mom has severe health issues and getting her out of her house has yet to be an option. Look no further and save yourself the time of quoting other companies. Juggernauts Moving stood atop as an affordable and professional company. Great communication with Ashley and Rob prior to the move date (Sept. 29, 2018). Most details were sorted as I had anticipated 2 trips between locations (former home and current home), with an additional stop after the move was complete, to drop off other items at a 4th location. On to the move day review; Movers: Ed, Tyrone, and Travis (all very professional and courteous) Truck size: 26ft (*issue with truck @ 3rd location - details in review*) Expected start: 9:00am Arrival time: 9:20am (Ed did call around 8:20am to advise on tardiness) 1st location: Storage unit loaded on to truck and then headed to our former home. Time spent - 1 hour. 2nd location: Former home for remainder of first haul loaded onto moving truck. Picture posted of 3/4 truck filled in company photos. Remainder of truck loaded with miscellaneous items and patio furniture. Time spent - 3 hours. 3rd location: Unloading at new home. This is where the 26ft truck size came in to play. The driveway caused a BIG problem with the truck's rear-end. The truck had about a 12 foot rear-end from axle to tailgate and a lowered metal bumper with trailer hitch. This inhibited the truck from being able to drive up the inclined driveway. This was an ISSUE. Ed had no other option other than keeping the truck in the street to start the unloading of items. Up and down the driveway was the name of the game after that. It was really unfortunate this was the situation, not only on the movers, but this had also increased the job time. Needless to say, the crew completed the task. My wife and I were reluctant to the fact of the truck not being able to make it up our driveway and were about to call off the 2nd trip. Ed was persistent and insisted this would not be a problem to "complete the job." Onward went the moving day. Time spent - 4 to 5 hours. 2nd trip: This included a garage-to-garage move between the two homes. Mostly storage bins, boxes, bikes, etc. The crew utilized the entire 26ft truck floor space again with all the items. By this time, it was about dusk and time was becoming a factor. Time spent - 2 hours. Final drop: Started around 7:30pm and I voluntarily offered my efforts to help be the 4th crew-member. Since this was a garage-to-garage move, I wanted to help complete the job as quickly as possible. The guys were advised to drop all items in the garage only, as the inclined driveway was still a factor in the move and everything was hauled from street level up to the garage. Time spent - 2 hours. Estimated time to complete move day - 9 hours. Total time spent - 12 hours. Comments/concerns: - 4th location was cancelled by me as this would have extended the total time even further. - I would like to recommend that all locations for "the job" be viewed by the company prior to the "move date," or details hashed out about size of driveways, whether there is an incline, turns, terrain, etc. I had asked Travis if the company had other size trucks and was advised they did. If the situation with an inclined driveway would have been made known prior to the move date, then this could have saved a lot of efforts done by the crew and also saved time/money as a customer. Both sides could had benefited from this tremendously. - Travel time: I was charged $75, however this is what I was advised prior to move date; "We start the clock when we arrive as far as moving the only thing that's added on at the end is a half hour travel time. That's to get the guys back to our warehouse." In my estimate for the hourly rate, it was $115/hr. Half hour of travel time would be assumed $57.50. - Tax (6%): Services in Michigan are generally not taxable. In this case sales tax should have not been charged because service that was provided did not include creating or manufacturing a product. This was also not disclosed by Ashley or Rob prior to move date. Final thoughts: Juggernauts Moving was an exceptional company that offered affordable pricing when compared to the competitors. I gave the 4 out of 5 star review due to my comments/concerns. I would like to thank Ed, Tyrone, and Travis for their professionalism, efforts, and willingness to compromise. I wish i could give 2.5 stars. The guys on their truck worked hard. My issue was with Robert the owner. Didn't get the wardrobe boxes until the day of the move. He mentioned bringing two trucks one for the garage and one for the house. Found out that isn't even an option since they only have 1 truck!! He said there were two options of paying hourly or he would give you a lump sum to pay and it covers it all no matter how long. Since there was only one truck it too all day. The first truck was packed like a Tetris board. Drive 17 miles to the other house and unpack Then back. The second truck full was not so nicely packed, it was late they were les patient and they wanted it filled up so they don't have ti add more to it. It should have been a third trip but it was midnight. They were supposed to be there at 9 am didn't get there until noon had truck issues. Guess it was hard to find the imaginary 2nd truck. Ha Twice Robert calls to ask for more money. end of the night, and right when they got back to the old house from first load. Robert tells the driver to say there is a surcharge of a $150 added on. I said to the driver you can tell him to call me but there is no way I'm paying more than i was quoted. He would not talk to me, either instance. So between that and having soo much stuff left on Sunday to move solo it wasn't a great experience. He knew about the gun safe it was on the first floor we looked at it the day he came out to give the quote. Also yes he gave us the 40 standard boxes days before but didn't drop off the wardrobe boxes until around 1-2 pm the day we moved.
