Appears clean. Need sound deadening material as quite loud inside. Front end staff need to communicate better and be more organized. Staff is friendly but food service was slow. Food warm and good amount of vegetables in omelette but lacked seasoning, even some salt or pepper. I should have asked for salsa. Also had breakfast skillet and again needs seasoning but otherwise well prepared. I would recommend them as a nice local place. Side note: parents need to control their kids! read more

We celebrated the 100th birthday of our father who passed away from COVID in 2020. I phoned ahead and let them know we were coming as we had a group of seven. They were very hospitable and the table was ready when we arrived! Decided to come here with wifey. The decor of the place looks unfinished but I think he's only been open a month so I still give him props, especially since he opened during a pandemic. The restaurant is very clean. They are definitely following the social distancing guidelines. I didn't take any pictures because I smashed it so quick. The biscuits and gravy, FIRE!!!!!! We were planning to go to iHop since it's breakfast, they were all full, so we went to Tony's Cafe & hands down, it is the best in Indiana. Got the sausage omelette special. For a $1.20 savings, you get one less egg and one less slice of toast. The server told me it would be the same meal as on the menu. Nope. Our party of 5 enjoyed our food at Tony's. It's nice to have another breakfast place in the area. HOWEVER, we will likely not go back until something is done about the acoustics. It was sooo loud and echoing inside the restaurant that we could barely have a conversation at our table amongst ourselves without shouting (thus adding to the problem). Pleasantly surprised! I will become a regular here, at it is located very close to my house. My wife and I went on Friday evening, and there was nobody there but us. I had a bacon cheeseburger with black coffee. They made a fresh pot for me, coffee was good. The cheeseburger was excellent, served with fresh lettuce and tomato and cooked perfectly. Not greasy at all. It came with fries served piping hot, which were also delicious. They did not salt them which is fine for me, so i could salt to taste. My wife had the fried chicken sandwich - it was also perfectly cooked, tender & juicy. I can't believe the place is not more crowded. I realize it is more of a breakfast place, but the dinner items are excellent too. people, Unlike all the chain restaurants in Fishers, this is an independent place, a brave couple trying to make it work, serving delicious food with love. Great place. Had great breakfast there two times. I like the grits. Weren't busy at 10 am Thursday. So great place to get physical separation for Covid, and clean, one of our reasons for going there. Served by owner. She said they weren't busy earlier either. No one knows they are there. They moved there in September and then COVID hit. So support a family owned business in Fishers. We stop for breakfast this morning. It was OK. Nothing special. The service was again OK. Not great but also not bad. I ordered the biscuits and gravy platter with 2 eggs and hash browns. The eggs were cooked prope as I ordered them over easy. I ordered the hashbrowns crispy and they were just barely brown. They were the traditional frozen out of the bag hash browns. The biscuits were your typical restaurant pack rather dense biscuit that didn't seem heated just split out of the box. The sausage gravy was again just OK. Nothing special and not a lot of flavor. It did have some sausage but the sausage it had did not have much flavor. Our meal came out different from what you would expect. The biscuits and gravy came out then 2 - 3 minutes later the eggs and hash browns were brought out. The decor and atmosphere was very pedestrian. Rather sparse and bare. Overall, like I originally stated, was just OK. I guess these days the few time I get to go out to eat at a restaurant, I want something special. I want to be wowed! This was not that. read more

I love trying and supporting local restaurants and this was by far the worst I have ever been to. The service was EXTREMELY SLOW!!!!! It took at least 25 minutes to get someone to even take my order, then another 30 minutes to get my food. The only positive thing about the entire service was my food was warm. When I called the restaurant to let them know that I had not received items in the bag, the manager rudely stated that the items were put in the bag and that's not his problem.
