Walked in at 2:30 to purchase orchard grass for our cattle. Charged me for said orchard and when I drove back to load it the loader told me they ran out that morning. I don't know if they have new folks loading or what.... I went in and let them know we were dealing with severe bugs in our last bag that I tossed it and need to get a new one. I honestly didn't know how they got there. It has been a few weeks since I bought it. No big deal. Paid for the feed and go outside. The guy that loaded the bag was putting in my trunk in an odd manor but I didn't think anything of it. Only for me to get to the barn we board at to discover a hole ripped in the bag. Again. No big deal I'm just going to rip it open anyway. Then I saw it. All the bugs crawling out of the bag. All over the back of my suv and some were headed towards my infant in the back seat. I took the food back. Where they mentioned it had been an issue?!?!? And then de idea to grab us a new bag off the new pallet. Which fine. I appreciate that. But no " I'm sorry", or anything. Instead I got to pay another 20 for some DE to sprinkle in the car once my infant is out to try and debug it. I'm absolutely upset over today's interaction. Between our daughters and I, we have been customers for over a decade. As of today we no longer will be. I understand bugs happen but you don't knowingly load a bag full of them into an SUV with an infant. read more

Norco is a horse town. So feed and grain stores and all the catchings you need for raising horses and whatever are abundant here. Today we were musing about the upcoming growing season, and trying to think outside the box, so to speak. We were planning a small raised vegetable garden and decided to look into medium sized water troughs that we could put drainage holes in, then place on frames to elevate them off the ground. Less bending, less likely to rot than wood beds, much easier to carry than the stacking cement borders that Home Depot offers. We found some 2' x 3' oval shaped water troughs/ponds, about 18 inches deep, made of a very thick, black material that is far more durable than anything the Home Depot/Lowes stores carry. Bonus points for being guaranteed for 5 years. $32 each and they have a capacity of 40 gallons. After shopping around Norco, we bought from Tony's. They were much cheaper than elsewhere. We are quite happy with our find and have plenty of planting area after buying 4. Nice, friendly, and they helped load them in our car. Appreciated! Of course, there is still much work to do, Mr. B needs to build the frames, but finding something durable was the most daunting challenge. read more

The staff is always nice and willing to help and the gentleman who work in the barn are always joking around and having a good time with the customers my boyfriend and I stop here often after the race track to pick up some hay for our Clydesdale. This feed store has the worst customer service that I have ever seen. The manager is extremely rude and the owner does not seem to care . They sometimes have good hay but you have to check the order just before it is delivered. We had checked the hay quality before we ordered 24 bales and the hay that was delivered was not the hay we ordered and was all straw and full of sticks and rocks. When we questioned the poor quality , we were told the hay we ordered had sold out before they delivered and the hay delivered was a new shipment. The quality of the hay was so bad that I hated to feed it to my horses and we were charged the same price as the quality hay that we checked, ordered and paid for in advance. The other feed stores in Norco have better customer service, comparable prices and I can be sure that the hay that I bought is the hay that I will receive. I will take my thousand dollar a month business elsewhere but apparently the way their customers are treated they don't care read more

It is disappointing when I fight traffic to get there 40 minutes before closing to find your gates closed and you not answering your phone.

The quality of the chicken feed is great. We have an account at another local feed store but the lay mesh is very powdery. Additionally, I have noticed that this feed store is one of the only ones in Norco that is COVID safe. I really appreciate that because my elderly mother lives with me. Very friendly staff! read more
