I feel like I'm being racially profiled every time I come into this store . I like to look around a little before I decide what I want to buy and am CONSTANTLY being followed and stared at , with out being asked if I need help. Just staring . I brought this to the attention of another employee and they did not seem to care about how uncomfortable I feel when I come in here . And it's always the same brown skinned guy just following me around the store ... like sir you are darker than me to be profiling me as if I'm going to steal. We love this store! The staff is always so kind and friendly and helpful. The selection of products are preferable and there are much more healthy options than I've found at tractor supply and the prices are always pretty reasonable. We do all of our shopping here for our dog. Went to this Kahoots store after we viewed the horse week parade. The store has so much to offer and a wide variety of products. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. I would like to acknowledge Nick for assisting us as we shopped. He was very knowledgeable. We are especially appreciative that he introduced us to the Kahoots brand kibble dog food. I drove here from Orange County because my usual stop has just declined so much in customer service. Immediately as I walked in the door at Kahoots, I was greeted and asked if I needed help finding anything. As I lingered looking at the new baby chicks, I was again asked if I needed help finding anything. Later when I was at the chicken food, I was asked a third time if I needed help. Finally when I was at the cash register ringing up my order the kind gentleman didn't even ask if I needed help out to my car with $300 worth of merchandise. Just wanted to hop on here and give a shout out to Kahoots in Norco....I went in for a couple bags of dog food and I was also checking for a storage bin but also checking if they had another type of dog food than I had seen someplace else. I was immediately greeted and asked if I needed help finding anything I thanked them and said I was good got a cart because I realized I wanted two bags of the dog food and then I waddled over to the storage bins and found what I was looking for but was wondering if they had a smaller size so I then asked if they did...the ladies who I asked were so nice and we're able to let me know they did not but that I could possibly find it online I then waddled over to check out and they asked if I needed assistance getting the bags in my car I declined and thanked them and walked out and as I was exiting i passed a guy that worked there and he asked if he could help me with my bags of dog food (it was raining today) I thanked him and said I got it and walked out. Anyways super friendly staff prices are good. Definitely will be purchasing my dog food from them from now on. read more

As a new chicken owner I purchased 3 chicks back in April and mentioned I wanted egg layers so ended up taking one of each chicks home. I was helped by the store associate and he was kind and very informative about what each type of chick would look like as a hen. Not once was it mentioned that the chicks were all straight run with a 50% chance of getting roosters. To be understanding, I now know I should have double checked and asked if they were sexed but based off how the associate was explaining each type of chick and how many eggs each laid and how they'd look full grown, I assumed they were all hens. Well all 3 chicks I received are roosters and am back at square one with owning hens for eggs. Seems a little sneaky to me to not disclose with customers and Make sure it is known that they are straight run and not sexed. Had I known, I wouldn't have taken any knowing I'm not zoned for roosters. Definitely will not be going to purchase chicks from there again. Just beware if you're buying chicks. read more

I would like to personally thank employee Brianna for going above and beyond to help me find a food my dog who is allergic to everything could eat. she read all my allergy testing results, went around the store and read ingredients on many brands of dog food. She printed out my dogs results to make it easier to read. I had to run home and feed my horses, she continued researching and found a food my dog could eat. Kahoots has become my go-to spot for pet food and pet accessories! They have a pretty expansive selection of dog food, including their own brand, which I haven't had a chance to try yet. I've been pretty strict on my Australian Shepard's (Sheila) diet for a while now, and after a bit of research we switched her over to Acana pet food. A little expensive, but I need her to live forever! Acana can be hard to find, so it's nice to have a local spot that sells it in every flavor - she likes variety. The poultry is always significantly cheaper if you're on a budget. I also picked up a water and food bowl for the new pad, as well as a salmon skin chew to keep her busy while I unpack. The salmon chew was a success, but definitely doesn't last long. Luckily they have a variety of chew options if you're looking for something more durable: including, bones, ears, horns, and yak milk (my favorite). While thy have a ton of goodies for the dog-obsessed, Kahoots also carries a number of items for any of your furry, skaley, or feathery friends. Definitely a spot worth exploring! read more

This newly opened business is a well stocked feed and pet store that takes the place of what was known as America's Country Store. The store is impressive and well organized. It has a very extensive selection of food, equipment, and other pet products, as well as a large warehouse (soon to be air conditioned) for feed and hay. It appears that Kahoots is rapidly expanding in this area. I am looking forward to being a steady customer, as they carry some of the more high end dog foods that my picky Chihuahua has graciously consented to eat. Off to a good start, the employees were quite helpful and also gave me free baggies of their house brand dry dog food to try on picky Lilly. We can only hope. The staff is great and extremely friendly. This is more of a local petco/petsmart type of store. I thought it was going to be small but it's actually quite big and they carry various types of dog food. They even make their own Kahoots dog kibble. They carry frozen raw goat milk AND raw dog food which is amazing!!!! They have a lot of different products for your pet including horse, pig, and small pet (hamster, rabbits, etc) products. Everyone here is so nice and helpful. I come here for all my pet needs and questions. It's hard to find a place where you can feed livestock, tarantulas, rabbits and dogs but this place has it all! I come here and only here for everything I need for all my pets and everyone here is always super knowledgeable and friendly. They have animal nutrition and pet supplies. My parents come here to pick up chicken feed every week. The place is nice, you can find pretty much all pet supplies here. They even sell doggie stuff, we bought a doggie car seat here for $50 and it is very good quality. In particular, their Kahoots brand dog treats were really reasonably priced, and my picky pup was a fan. The prices on some of the brushes were comparable with online retailers or better, actually. Spent over $200 in vaccines and food a few weeks ago they were NOT helpful. I was assisted by the blonde girl working the register and she gave me an attitude while I acquired about the vaccines. My mom came here last week and said that she felt like she was being followed by an employee around the store. She heard the same employee tell another employee to "go check on the other two in the back", referring to two Hispanic men in the store. This made my mom feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome. I've lived in Norco my whole life and I take pride in keeping my business in Norco, but if this is the service I'm going to get I will take my business elsewhere. read more
