Tony tried to exploit my recently widowed mother who requested a new water heater. He told her he was giving her a discounted price (not true) and he told her that he did other work for "no extra charge" to install a fan. I calculated that he charged her $400 per hour for his services, which is grossly overpriced. While she was able to get a refund, it is very concerning that he tried to take advantage of her fragile state and overcharged her for shoddy work. Once he refunded her, we hired an actual electrician to fix his work on the fan. The water heater is okay but cost less than he represented on the invoice. I understand that these are desperate times for some but cannot understand why Tony would exploit the widow of a friend of his. This gives me serious concern for what kind of person he is. read more

I had a clogged kitchen sink drain and was referred to Tony by a good friend. I called on Friday and he came over the next day which was a Saturday. He quoted me a time and he was there when he said he was going to be. Due to the coronavirus issue, he wore a mask and gloves, which I appreciated very much. He's a single father raising two girls and he adopted a rescue animal. He is licensed and gives special discount rates for seniors (which I am) and for military personnel.He also works 7 days a week to support his family and doesn't charge more on weekends. I will definitely use his services again. read more

I hired Tony to help me turn-over a rental unit. There was a good amount of work to be done. He came over, gave me an estimate and he was supposed to start the work a few days later. In the meantime, we communicated about the things he would need for the job and placed an order at the local Home Depot - left everything under his name to be picked up. We also made an appointment on another property for a large plumbing job but he never made it to the appointment. Two days later he was supposed to start the other job. I only had a few days to get the job completed before new tenants were moving in. Again, he never showed up. I tried contacting him several times and always went to voicemail. Never a returned call, I changed my mind, I'm sick, I took another job, nothing. Left me hanging completely. Thankfully, I was able to find somebody else with short notice but this could have been a real big unfortunate disaster for me. Some sort of communication that he wasn't showing up would have been nice - something, so I wouldn't have waited for him. I still don't understand how that happened. I usually don't leave bad reviews but I'm still baffled about this behavior and the luck of communication. read more

The list of things that were unprofessional is long. 1. Most significantly, Tony forced a piece of wood into place such that it broke an electrical conduit pipe - the electrician said this will cost about $300 for him to repair - and that is from a very inexpensive electrician. 2. To enlarge a hole in a door for a dog door they dragged the door on the deck, scraping paint and then planned to do the cutting by teetering the door on the steps. I had to make the sensible suggestion to use my saw horses. 3. When I opened the front door to him at one point, I asked that he put on a mask. He said ok, asked his helper to go and get them, and then walked straight into the house past me without a mask on. 4.Tony did not complete a section of the job and insisted I had told him not to. Why would I ask for a job to be left unfinished? He did finish it after I told him to again. read more

I had Tony as a handyman for some years. Typically he showed up, did a good job and was fairly reasonable price wise. However he dropped the ball several years ago when he came out and did a job, but never finished it. After multiple calls over a couple years, I gave up. I had to pay another contractor to finish the job. Great guy, but not so great work ethic. Returning calls and finishing work that has been paid for is good business. I hired Tony to install a reverse osmosis system under the sink. He refused to read the directions and said he had done many of these and knew what to do. After he left, I discovered two leaks. These were not too hard to fix. Much worse however, he drilled the drain hole connection in the wrong place. The directions specifically warn against this mistake in the 10 tips section. As a result the system won't drain properly and now I have to do a reinstall and patch the hole. I would have saved time doing the install myself. read more

Its not easy to find a repair man who does it all, is reasonable and honest, and comes when he promises! I found Tony while he was working for someone else, and I could tell immediately that he was the person I needed for the many issues in my house. He brought his crew and pulled out all the insulation that was damaged, the plastic barrier that was damaged, and reinstalled both insulation and barrier. He found a few other issues, which he photographed under the house, and he discussed costs and options with me. He's the nicest guy you want in your house, and very trustworthy. The job was done in just a few days, for much less than I was expecting to pay. I will be using him for outdoor repairs too, replacing wood and siding. You'll be happy with his work! read more

Tony is the best handyman we have ever seen. We wish we had known of him years ago. I had a cracked bathroom sink and he made it look new. He took care of all the repairs on our house when we sold it. We are moving out of state and will miss him. Friendly, honest and a good work ethic. read more

Fast, friendly and affordable! Tony was great! He came to the rescue to fix our clogged shower drain. He was quick to respond to our message and charged us a very reasonable amount! Tony replaced a sliding door glass handle for me and readjusted the door to make it open more easily. He also repaired an error a contractor had made when he installed the laminate flooring.
