OMG!!!!! I have traveled extensively during my 20 plus years in the armed services and still travel. I ordered a side salad, spaghetti with meatballs and tiramisu. The service, excellent, Toula was my server and she was efficient as well as friendly and warm. The food: HOLY MOLY!! I could live off of Tony's food! My family orders from here at least once a week and we have yet to be disappointed. The Buffalo Chicken Pizza is our favorite and it is ADDICTIVE! I personally think their Greek Dressing is the best around for sure. We have been loyal customers since they opened and it has always been a major plus that they were one of the only places in or around Elgin that offered delivery, even in the pre-covid era. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait if you choose delivery over pick up, but that's going to be the same anywhere you go. The drivers usually arrive before the estimated delivery time and my order has always been correct and complete. I'm so glad they decided to set up shop in Elgin! read more

If I could give this place zero stars for customer service I would. Tonight my wife and I decided to get food from here. We are not from here we're in-town visiting my dad for his birthday. So, we go inside to place an order $60 bucks in total. We were told by the young lady that the order would take 25 minutes. Ok, cool we will wait inside. While waiting we notice customers placing orders for the same things as us and received their food while we are still waiting. After waiting 35 minutes I ask the young lady at the counter about our order. She says it's next I say ok. Well 50 minutes later we are still waiting. So, I go back up and inquire about the order. At this point some items start to come out and it's ours. She gets everything bagged up and say the pizza isn't ready and it would be a little longer. At this point my wife asks is there anything they can do. Because now we have waited twice as long and people that came in after us are eating their meal. At this point an older woman walks up and ask what's the issue and my wife tells her. At this point she said there's nothing she could do. Since we have paid for our order. Ok, if you say so then she offered to give us the pizza free. That seemed like a good resolution. Until she says to my wife " thanks for making my daughter cry, because you yelled at her". Never once did she yell at that the girl behind the counter and she tells the mother that. I didn't yell at her I asked a question. The lady (mother) then proceeds to slap her hands on the counter and say "I'm tried of y'all coming in here wanting something for free". Who the fuck is "yall" black people? Or us as an interracial couple? Because we were the only ones in there that wasn't white. I said to the mother no one yelled at your daughter. Then she says enjoy the food I refunded the entire meal and get the fuck out! And don't come back! At that point I said no worries and left the food on the counter. If this is how you treat customers when you mess up/delay the order. We will not be back.. Periodt!! read more

We just stopped for dinner at 7:30. We sat at our table for 15 minutes without being even acknowledged by anyone. One server walked to the table next to us four times and never even looked at us. This is small place that is normally very good. Tonight the three ladies working were more interested in looking at their cell phones and scratching their noses. I went to this place a few years ago and I didn't want to go back. When you first walk in it is dark and unwelcoming the staff don't greet you until after you find a table by yourself. I have been here twice and both times it was extremely cold inside. Once you wait for a waiter to take your order the food takes forever and a day to come out of the kitchen. We ordered the raw fries and a pizza. The pizza was cold and it practically fell apart hen you picked it up but the fries made up for all of it. The fries are literally the only thing that got this place 3 stars from me because everything is horrible except the fries. About a year ago I ordered pizza from them for a Halloween party and the pizza was actually good this time. So that adds a few points to my rating but otherwise this place is ok. We go there and order delivery a lot. Usually have good experience, we think they have the best pizza in town. Tonight, however, was out of the ordinary and not good. Ordered delivery, it came in a decent amount of time, most of the food was good but there was a cockroach in one of the salads! Didn't find it until we had eaten most of the salad! Not sure when the next will be before we go back, we usually go once a week. Disappointed, usually good and good service but this is definitely leaving a bad taste. read more

Tony's is one of our favorite places to go. Good food, and really great service every time.

I drive by Tony's Pizza Palace every night and have been eagerly waiting for them to open. We stopped in for dinner this evening and ordered mozzarella sticks and a small pizza. There was a slight issue with the mozzarella sticks being overcooked, but the waitress recognized the problem and they had a brand new order, cooked perfectly, to us within minutes. The pizza was great. My daughter said it's the best she's ever had. The prices are fair and the staff was very friendly. Parking was tight because they were busy. I was speaking with a friend at work about this place, I had not tries it. The friend had had a bad experience, but I wanted to give it a shot as I am new to the area. I seated myself quickly, at 12:30pm on a weekday I half expected a bit of a crowd. No crowd. A few patrons (maybe 5). I had a slice of pizza and a drink. The portion size is not bad. The pizza was ok. I've had better, and I've had worse. In all honesty, being from Jersey, I have a high standard for pizza. However I'm glad to have found a place that sells pizza by the slice. The downside, the size of the Baklava for $4 wasn't worth the price, so I passed. Might leave this place on the list to bring the family one night. read more

I went here on a Friday right after they opened for business. The wait was sort of long, but sometimes it takes a couple weeks to get into the swing of things. The prices were comparable to any pizza joint. A little higher In Price than the chain restraunts, but quality was better also. I loved the thin crust pizza and their chicken wings were really good. They accidentally gave me a calzone instead of bread sticks, but that was real good too. I hope they keep doing a good job and keep their quality high. My husband stopped by Tony's for takeout on the way home from work. I got lasagna and he ordered the stuffed shells. I can't speak for his dish, but my lasagna tasted and looked like Stouffers. It was definitely not homemade. Pasta dishes come with a choice of fries or salad. I got fries and my husband got salad. My fries were decent, however I ate them a while after he got home and they were cold. Not their fault. The fries are the good, seasoned ones. I was happy not to get crinkle cuts. The salad consistent of a few pieces of lettuce. At the end of the day, we won't be back. We paid $27 for frozen food. We like to support local businesses and I hope Tony's will improve. read more

Pretty good place. Their French fries are some of the best that I have had in really long time. I had Gyro combo platter which was packed with plenty of meat and was pleasantly surprised. My daughter had a cheese and pineapple people which she really enjoyed. Wife had a burger which she said was good and agreed with me about how good their fries are. Tried it last night and i wasn't to happy with it. Elephant ears were coated with way to much cinnamon. My pizza was so greasy the crust was soggy and sticking to the pan. I had the buffalo pizza. Since I have been in this area I have not found a pizza yet that tastes authentic and Tony's is the closest thus far. Their customer service is something to be desired.
