I couldn't tell at the time after getting it done, some of the coloring doesn't match the photo I gave and the coloring was done outside of the lines. I got a horrible tattoo here years ago and I just got it covered up. It was a really important tattoo for me and it covered my whole forearm. He did a few all tattoos for me before so I trusted him. it Was supposed to be a mountain scene but it turned out looking like a big black pineapple. He covered it up before I really got a look at it but when I took the dressing off I was horrified. I went back to his shop and they didn't care I hated it. He laughed and said he won't give me a refund. The tattoo was made a joke for years before I could afford to fix it. No other shops wanted to touch it and said I would need laser tattoo removal. I would never recommend this place to anyone in regards to getting tattoos. I went here about a month and a half ago, to get some original handwriting in my girlfriends handwriting saying "remember everything will be fine" The gentleman that was doing the tattoo was tattooing upside down, and started by tattooing the word everything. HERES THE ISSUE. HE FORGOT TO PUT THE LETTER "R" IN THE WORD EVERYTHING. Literally as he's staring at the paper in the palm of my hand with my gfs handwriting on it. I'm absolutely astounded that a mistake could be made like that. The absolute most they offered was to return $20 off of my $150 tattoo. What a fucking joke. So i came in to get a cross an my neck and had the opportunity to deal with the owner Tony. I was very disappointed. His vibe from the beginning was horrible. I thought it was me so i just let it be and continued with questions and finally decided to get it. Issues occurred with my card after he had voided one transaction, he still acted like he was annoyed bothered. Maybe he was racist idk‍‍ you nevEr know, now a days. Anyways i called my bank and got it all solved. I asked him very nicely should i continue? You seemed bothered and annoyed since i walked in. Do you want me to come back and just deal with someone else? He said if you want, maybe you should go somewhere else. ‍ well there u have it. An owner should never treat their customers like that. My first time coming, and def the last! Don't get me wrong, the store is clean and organized, cool. But when you enter a tattoo shop you're not there to inspect their store but get a tattoo, and let me tell you guys, TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE! everytime i try to come here they are always closed even though the timings on their website, instagram, voice mail, and door state otherwise. i called yesterday to make ask if they do lip tattoos and then when i was going to ask for an appt, the line disconnected. i tried calling back but it went straight to their voicemail. it said they opened up at 3 on their website and instagram but on the door it said they'll be back at 3:10 and in their voicemail it said they are open at 4:30. i waited 2 hours and called multiple times.... no response. everytime i've come here for piercings they've always gotten infected; i have 12 other piercings from other places which have been fine because i do take care of all my piercings, but somehow my 3 piercings from here got infected. extremely disappointed .. read more

My little sister went into Tony's shop to get a tattoo for my daughter and my grandmother that passed away suddenly. She was told to come in on Thursday at 830pm. When she got there a stencil was done but they were too busy and she was told to go back the next day at 430. The next day came and was told that because so many people were turned away the day before that she had to come in the next day. She wrote a bad review on the shops Facebook page saying that she would never go there again and had a bad experience and then privately Facebook messaged the owner. I recently got my nose pierced about 2 weeks and I LOVEEE it. It was my first experience with getting anything pierced with a needle but he explained everything to me and told me how to take care of it and it has been healing very well. I have no bumps or anything like that. It was only sore for about a day or so but that's completely normal. I recommend 10/10 to get your piercings here!! And the price was decent! read more

I will not recommend this place to anyone and beware. I got a small arrow on my finger and have never been so disappointed. The lines are uneven and the shading is terrible. He told me because it was just done it was heal the way I wanted. Even though I was trying to ask him how "healing" was going to fix the uneven lines. Honestly , this was a horrible experience. I went in with my Boyfriend to get a tattoo , his first tattoo but I I have a few already . As we walked in this guy barely acknowledges us then finally after maybe 15 minutes decides to ask why I'm there . After the whole run down my boyfriend got a tattoo simple looks ok line works not that great but ok, fine . Now for my tattoo i wanted a tiny rocket with a few stars around it , maybe the size of a quarter, very simple I have several other tattoos much more complex which came out exactly how I wanted . I literally emailed him my tattoo I wanted which he proceeded to print out and stenciled exactly that on me . Never once did he say he would not be able to do it the same or anything like that so I believed it would look exactly like what he stenciled on me . Well I was wrong when he finished the tattoo which he clearly rushed Because other people walked in I was horrified . The line work looks like a two year old did it. It is so shaky and there's random dots and lines where he just dragged the needle when it shoul have been lifted and things missing . When I told him I was unhappy he says I have to come back tomorrow cause he is busy. So whatever I come back the next day and say how unhappy I am and he Barely even looks at my tattoo . He had the original picture there and was holding it yet wouldn't look at mine which was missing things and not straight and just a mess . He tried saying that he's not a copy machine and I don't expect that but don't stencil something on someone that you are not capable of doing . He laughs in my face the whole time then when I brought up the messy line work he said I was moving which did not happen at all and then he tried blaming it on the position I was in which he told me to sit in that position and I would have kindly repositioned if he asked . Tony was my artist . I am most upset about how he put what I wanted on me when testing placement then tattooed something that looks like he tattooed it with his eyes closed on me and also I'm very unhappy how he treated me when I told him how upset I was with the work he put on me , I don't appreciate being laughed at when he put a permanent embarrassment on me . I will start off by saying that the place in itself is nice and clean. It has many inspo ideas and options! HOWEVER, the people are anything but pleasant. I get that everyone has a bad day now and then, but I've been here three three times (1 piercing, 2 tattoos). Tattoos can be extremely meaninful and important reminders to people, so when the staff is unwelcoming and rude, it can throw off your whole experience. First off, the lady at the counter, is not nice. She gives dirty looks, and is just overall has no filter. The two people who were in there when I got my second tattoo were not welcoming in the slightest. I had previously gotten a tattoo from there and it came out just the way I wanted. It was done by an excellent guy who was very friendly. The second time I went in to get a tattoo, it was a different person, but it was rushed and came out horribly. I am litterally getting it removed. NOT TO MENTION my first tattoo from there was larger and cost me $70. The second was 4 LETTERS and cost $110. read more

My friend and I decided to get spur of the moment tattoos. We had decided we really wanted to do our research, as I wanted words and she wanted a detailed giraffe. We spent hours looking, and came across Tony's! Super comfy, cool atmosphere once you walk in. The guys there are awesome. I believe it's tony and his friend who are just there. I was there back in November, so not sure if they added anyone new. My friend got her tat done by tony, who did a sick job! I unfortunately don't have a picture. He even offered to fix a botched tattoo job she had done at a different shop, at a super large discount. He is so friendly and really wants your tattoos to be art and lasting, not just something that looks hot for now. Igot my tattoo done by the other guy (I don't remember if I got his name but he was awesome!) I was being super annoying with what I wanted, and he worked with me until we were able to come up with something that would last, and not look so mushed together. (I wanted small script, idk what the heck I was thinking.) and then last minute I decided I wanted a paper airplane along with my words. The guy I got tattooed by was very sweet and made me feel very comfortable. He was careful and precise and was just overall super chill. Their pricing is awesome, but that's just a bonus. With their professionalism, and courteousness, it would have been worth every penny, even if they charged more. The words are awesome, and the plane is so subtle. This is by far my favorite tattoo, and I finally have a shop I feel like I know I'm going to be taken care of. Definitely check out this shop if you want awesome service, cleanliness (everything is super sterile by the way and so clean), and awesome staff. So happy we chose Tony's! read more

He marked where I'd be pierced and checked it over with me. Made sure the area was clean. All I felt was a quick pinch for the needle, and nothing for the piercing going in. I got a tattoo at Tony's last year. The customer service and interest in discussing the tattoo possibilities with me was disgraceful, effectively non-existant. I felt as if they didn't even want my business. But I was under time constraints to get the tattoo and so I ended up making a decision and getting it there and then... it was the wrong decision! The tattoo was such poor quality. The ink was smudged, the lines weren't straight, and part of the tattoo ended up wonky. My tattoo was very small, I can't imagine how bad it could have been if it had been big or detailed or colored. I am having to get the tattoo removed and redone, because the job done at Tony's was so poor, which is going to cost me 500 dollars. I would not recommend Tony's to anyone. Disgracefully nonchalant and uninterested customer service, and a terrible outcome. read more

To start off this place does NOT deserve even 1 star but to write his review I was obligated too. Around 3 weeks ago I went to this place to get my daith pierced and he didn't even check ID so if you're under age and want a piercing that's the place to go. Second of all he pierced my ear too close to the end of the cartridge where it was pulling my skin.. he said that's normal. I went to a different piecer 2 days after to look at it and he said it was done completely wrong and too close I was waiting until I was going to be back in Hempstead to go see him but the the heavy rod rip through the thing piece of cartilage he had supporting it. I went to him today to show him and he was negating the whole fact laughing in my face calling me a child. Yet another customer came in and I showed him the picture and he even said it does not look right. I'd advise to go to a different place for piercing. read more

First of all, I went to Tony's to get a simple cancer ribbon on my wrist. Tony himself was the one who did the job. A terrible job I should say. It was uneven in diameter and width. I made the mistake of not noticing when the job was finished, however once I did and went back to get it fixed he refused to correct his mistake and tried charging me extra. Every time I tried speaking to him he kept walking away and kept insisting that I wanted the tattoo lopsided. He can't do a simple job, is extremely unprofessional and wasn't even trying to understand the situation. Unless you're an adolescent just looking to get tattooed do not go there, this is not the place you're looking for. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. I asked the man after the tattoo was finished if he could add just a bit more shadow and I got the nastiest response I ever heard from a tattoo artist. He said " I spent more time on this than I should have." I was appalled and disgusted by the way he treated me. Is that the way they treat people if you ask them to add something to your tattoo? And when I went back after my tattoo healed to speak to the owner tony , he completely blew me off and simply said " you should of said something when you were here."
