I highly recommend the Plumbing Place. Initially we thought we had a simple problem with our toilet. The old flapper didn't work. To find the right flapper for Toto toilet was a daunting task. We couldn't find the right one at Home Depot, Amazon and other plumbing places in the area. The only place we were able to resolve the issue was the Plumbing Place. Their sales consultant, Lisa Woodruff, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous. Next time, when we had a problem with a soap dispenser we right away went to the Plumbing Place. And this issue was resolved as well. During our visits we also were educated about other issues related to the proper installation of different parts for toilets and soap dispensers. For example, it is damaging to use antibacterial soaps because they harden and clog the dispenser, it is not recommended to use Windex for cleaning faucets and other metal appliances which leads to loss of their protecting coating and corrosion. In the future, we are thinking replacing our appliances. We will certainly use the Plumbing Place as all sales consultants and the owner are very helpful. read more

My husband and I purchased two glass sinks for our master bath. They arrived from the manufacturer, and were installed in our bathroom, only to realize that the sinks were two different color variations of gray. Apparently, the color gray that we ordered was updated by the manufacturer and they didn't double check to make sure that the sinks were a true match prior to shipment. Upon realizing this mistake, I called Lisa and she told me that she would handle everything. She was was amazing, from the start of the communication with the manufacturer over several months, to making sure that we were copied on several communications with the manufacturer, and finally making sure that we were 100% satisfied with our sinks when the matching sink arrived. Lisa and her team went to great lengths, including coming to our home to see the sinks in person, to make sure that quality and satisfaction were met. We would absolutely refer anyone to work with the team at The Plumbing Place. Enough cannot be said about the professionalism and kindness that they bestowed us. read more

An update to our previous five-star review of The Plumbing Place.....we needed a new kitchen faucet to replace our Grohe faucet which we had purchased at the Plumbing Place about 18 years ago. John happened to be in the store when we walked in, and as soon as we told him what we were looking for, he said that there was no need, as Grohe had a lifetime warranty. We wanted the same faucet, which they did not sell any longer, and so John went up to the storage space and found the parts needed to fix ours so that we could have the faucet we wanted. Who does this these days? He could have easily sold us another faucet, but instead he went over and above to save us from having to do that. And, after all that, he had forgotten to put one of the pieces in the box and drove to our home to deliver it! Customer service doesn't get any better than this. I like to give a shout out to Mrs. Lisa Woodruff. Lisa sold our plumbing appliances to us in 2004 and it was great to hear that she is still an employee there. That for itself speaks volumes. Our Blanco sink had cracked and the model was no longer available. Lisa went above and beyond to contact the Blanco rep. to coordinate a similar model that would fit in our granite sink space and to have it delivered within the week. While the sink was sadly not covered under warranty , we received the sink within the same week. Lisa communicated very well personally and via email. You just dont get such excellent and personalized service anymore . I recommend "The plumbing place" and in particular Lisa at anytime above any other generic plumbing warehouse ( not naming anyone ) ! I can spend a whole day wondering around and enjoy everything the place has to offer. One of the staff stands out. Jennifer, as we walked in, she came immediately to greet and assist us. Approximately 20 years ago we bought a condo on Siesta Key and gutted it. We replaced all of the plumbing fixtures with the help of The Plumbing Place. Because of the quality everything was still working fine so when we sold in December, we went back there to outfit our new apartment.
