Purchased a 2024 Bronco Sport -- Disappointed and misled. Pros: * Smooth initial sales process * Solid inventory * Full tank of gas at delivery Cons: * Advertised as Certified Pre-Owned, yet did not include the CPO warranty, a clear case of false advertising or at minimum, misrepresentation of goods * Post-sale "detail" was laughable, a quick rinse with no interior attention, not consistent with what was promised * Zero post-sale support -- repeated calls have gone ignored * Windshield cracked within 2 weeks, no resolution or acknowledgment I've been repeatedly brushed off by sales and management, including the sales manager who personally contacted me to "make things right"then ghosted like everyone else. This dealership's follow-through is nonexistent. I gave them every opportunity to address this and uphold basic standards of integrity. At this point, it feels like a textbook bait-and-switch: make the car sound better than it is, push the sale, and vanish once the money clears. I chose this dealer based on high ratings. That decision has proven to be a mistake. If you're looking for a business that values its customers after the sale, look elsewhere. So I rolled the dice and contacted them and these folks are amazing. Communication, pricing (they don't mark up).... This is reputable dealership and I will ensure I buy all my Fords from this place. Horrific, avoid at all costs. Texted multiple times with various sales people to lock in 2023 Maverick order while order bank was open (a couple of days only), never got email confirmation from Ford. Chased multiple times, was reassured multiple times that it was in. After escalating to sales manager, they called and said the orders were NOT able to be put in. Little do they know that Maverick truck owners are actively working together to help each other on the order process and track status of dealerships. This dealer did not put in my order, and if I didn't push, would have likely tried to sell me a truck when they get their dealer allocation with additional dealer markups (ADM). Service department get A+++ . I went in for a regular service and I was pleasantly surprised with everything they check over to ensure my vehicle is safe on the road . Free Appraisal on my vehicle was left on my car seat. Washed my car which I'm told comes with a car wash. Charlie explained everything in term I could understand along with showing me my brake pads were low and would need to be replaced soon. While waiting I went on a test drive in a new Chevy Equinox . Sales guy was polite, friendly and wasn't pushy. Because of this , I am going back into buy a new car! Thank young Performance Automall read more

Got a coupon in the mail for an oil change for $39.99. Had my wife get it done when she scheduled the Auto Butler paint protection and it came to $55.00? Apparently labor is not included in the price of an oil change, is what I was told. So you can get a deal on the oil change but be ready to pay more for them to actually do it. This place is horrible. I bought a used truck from these guys and I had it less then a week and it started leaking transmission fluid. Come to find out it had a crack transmission. I reached out to Braden and Milt they acted like they were going to make it right and after several calls and text messages they started avoiding my calls. I also called there main number and was told repeatedly that they were busy and would call me back. I still haven't heard from them and am still waiting. So as of now I have had to fork out $4500.00 to have my transmission rebuilt. read more

I recently went into the Chevrolet service department to set up an appointment to have our van a/c serviced. It is usually a waste of time to call after being bounced around to a couple of receptionist who take a message to get call back. We dropped the van off Friday evening, so it could be in line first thing Saturday morning. At 3 p.m. Saturday, no call from the service department and they close at 3:30 p.m. I drove up check up on the status and the van had not even made it in the shop. The assistant manager made excuses about how busy they were. I ask him about good customer service by just calling to give me an update. I tried to find a person of more authority to complain but none were to be found. Since they are so busy I guess they don't need my business anymore. read more

I went in to buy a new '16 Jeep Patriot last August. The salesman was a nice guy. My credit took some hits the year before, but the finance manager was able to get me a low rate with a good payment. At that point I would have rated them a 5 stars. The finance guy gave the best experience during my purchasing. A month later I got a flat tire and took it back in. I was told that my comprehensive warranty covered flat tires as well by the salesman, but I was told the tires were not covered by the service dept. That was fine, so I had them fix it. This is when the real problems started happening. The service department there gives the worst service I've ever had. To start it off, I ordered all weather mats. I was supposed to get a call when they came in, but I never got a call. After waiting 3 weeks I called them and was told "Yeah, they've been here for 3 weeks". They received them the day after I ordered them. I asked why I never got a call and they just said "Sometimes we call and sometimes we don't". When I took the jeep in to get the flat tire fixed, they scratched the bumper either taking the flat tire out of the back or putting the spare back in. The did't even secure the spare into it's spot, they just tossed it in. I called later that day and left a voicemail with the service manager about the scratch on my brand new car. I never got a call back. It wasn't a small scratch either, it's about 7 inches long. After a couple months I had to go back in for my oil change (it came with a free one). The "Change Oil" indicator was going off on the display screen every time I started it. I told the guy that I wanted synthetic. He said "It will get what it needs". I thought it was an odd response, but I figured he knew what I wanted and so I left it at that. The windshield washer fluid ran completely out a couple days before as well. They top off the fluids when you take it in as well. I went back out to get my jeep when they said it was done. It was parked close to the bumper of another car, I had to have them move it in order to get out. As I drove away the "Change oil" alert was still showing. I thought maybe it needed a minute to reset. Nope. They didn't clear it. That night the temps got below 25 degree. The next morning I tried to use my windshield washers and they were frozen solid. The whole reservoir was frozen. They didn't use winterized fluid. I then call the dealership to talk to the service manager, again. It was a different person than before. He told me that whatever fluid I had in there before was not all-season fluid. I told him it was empty. He shrugged it off. He then said to bring it back in so they could reset the "Change oil" alert. I've been driving around with the change oil alert going off since fall 2016 because I refuse to go back to them. I hate their service department. I will never be back. read more

I had multiple conversations with 2 members of the service department about a specific issue I had with my Chevrolet Truck. In those conversations, it was displayed to me that there was a very good level of understand what the issue was. The Service Department Manager gave me his advice, in which I followed. I had even told him that a third party had given me a couple more tips to fix my issue. And even those were understood. So I agreed to place my truck in the hands of this person. After spending a heavy penny, and only waiting a few short days for the service, I drove my truck away. Only for it to break down with the same issue I had originally needed fixed in the middle of the highway at 4 o'clock in the morning. I had hopes that because it was less then 24 hours since it was released to me, that the people at Performance could help yet again. They did not. Reviewing the receipt, I found that nothing that the Service Department Manager and I had talked about prior was even performed. Save a diagnostic test. I was told that what was talked about in the phone calls was (1) not written down, or discussed with anyone else in the Service Department, (2) pertaining to the fix, it was "my words against his" (Service Department Manager & Tech). I asked for a very specific operation done to the vehicle. The manager stated that it could be done, and would be done. Nothing that I asked for was performed or even considered. There is a huge gap in the communication between the management and staff of Performance. So huge that it cost me my truck. I will never go or advise anyone to go to this place for anything next to a oil change. read more

I posted this back in July: This place was absolutely the worst place I have ever dealt with. My husband recently took his vehicle in to be repaired and have the safety inspection done by Quality Ford (now Performance Automotive) in Tooele. He dropped the keys off on a Wednesday night at which time they provided the estimated service time at the latest on Friday. My husband called on Friday to find out how things were going only to find out that the only thing they had done was a diagnostic on what needed to be done on the vehicle. They gave him another estimated date of Wednesday to have all the repairs done. Wednesday night, he went into the shop. They said they only had to put the tires on and do an alignment. However, he came to find out that the wrong parts were ordered for his vehicle and it would not be done until the next day. Suddenly, his vehicle and safety inspection rolled out of the service area and the mechanic claimed the repairs were completed and handed him the signed safety inspection sheet. My husband paid the $3200 bill they charged him and left the shop only to find out that not only had the repairs NOT been completed, most of the old parts he paid to have replaced were back on the vehicle. Those that had been replaced had been replaced with second rate parts after he had paid for Ford parts to go into his vehicle. He also found that upon leaving the shop, his car should never have passed the safety inspection. When he confronted the mechanic, they said everything was good when he left. Because of the issue of falsifying the safety inspection, my husband reported the mechanic to the sheriff's department. When he arrived with the sheriff at the shop, the mechanic provided documentation showing the recommendations for repair and the document showing repairs had been completed with different dates. Being that my husband had just barely purchased the vehicle and this was his first time in the shop, this was another issue of a false document. The sheriff cited and fined the shop for falsifying legal documents. During the time my husband was there, he not only got horrible service on his vehicle, but the mechanic and the shop's director also felt the need to berate him in public telling him that if he would have "stopped breathing down their necks" the repairs would have taken less time but that they were done correctly. My husband took them both to the car and pointed out everything he asked to be done on the vehicle that was not completed or even touched...even to the point of them saying they top off fluids when they service a vehicle and my husband pointing out that the radiator fluid was bone dry and the washer fluid was more than half empty. He also needed to have new keys cut for the car of which they cut wrong. He found this out when he tried to use one of his keys to open the door and it wouldn't work so he had to spend 2 hours waiting for roadside assistance to come and cut new keys...another thing the shop claims they did correctly. Not once did they offer to refund his money or discount the services they screwed up so horribly. He only got a public yelling at by two employees. If this is how they treat their customers, it is a surprise they are still in business. Neither me nor my husband will EVER recommend this place for service. Instead we will spread the word about their awful business practices. We will also never return for any of their shoddy, shady service. And now I have an update: The company did reimburse us $600 of the $3200 they charged my husband, however, about 2 months after we took our car into have it serviced...not only did they do all the previous crap to the vehicle, but there started to be some problems with the engine. My husband went under the hood and found that there was only a quart of oil in the oil pan. Their carelessness and cheapskate way of doing things destroyed his car and now we have to get a new one. Everyone I talked to told us they should have reimbursed us the full amount because everything that was wrong and the shitty service they gave, but no. They are too cheap for that. They are too cheap to make their customers happy and too cheap to give their customers what they pay for. read more
