BE WARNED DO NOT BUY POKEMON ETBS FROM HERE Yesterday I came across this store with two of my friends and saw they were selling an ascending heroes etb. I decided to purchase it and when I got home and opened it the packed were visibly tampered with. A few packs had a thin silver line showing at the top and some had minor air pockets compared to major store bought packs. Not only that but each pack opened THE EXACT SAME WAY - easily pealed perfectly from the top and down the back middle seal. I paid $180 PLUS TAX so to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I can't speak for their single packs but after this experience with the etb I'm never purchasing from here again. I stupidly said no to a receipt so I doubt I can ask for a refund now but be warned if u do buy Pokemon cards here BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! read more

Love this place! It's been our go-to stop after happy hour at the Downey Promenade. We added this place to our rounds after noticing the claw games, which we thought would be fun to play. It's great entertainment for our baby. As he has aged into a toddler, he now wants to participate which is awesome! The people who work here are incredible. They still remember when we started this routine and have shared in the various emotions we have gone through while playing the games--the ups when we win and the bummer moments when we think we won but the claw drops it short of the slot. It's such a wonderful environment, and the people who work here are friendly and kind. We definitely have a great time every time we visit. As for selection, they have made some changes to the store to include more merchandise and less claw games. The merchandise is great, and there are still enough claw games to play. Heads up: the claw games take the special tokens that you purchase at the back of the store. Overall, this place is amazing! Our little one loves it especially now that he can participate. Wanted to check the pop mart and mofusand items. The store wasn't even open at the said time of 12 noon. The worker inside was just doing something else at the register while there were people waiting to go inside. Also had a few questions and the guy working was very very rude. Horrible customer service. They have a good selection of items but all of them are over priced. $15.99 for a tiny mofusand figurine when they only go for $7.99 at the local japanese market. read more

Went to get something Kuromi themed for my niece. This place had so many options on multiple different things, like plushies, stickers, figurines, etc. The plushies were the cutest. The claw machines were working when we went (because they had just opened back the store) but they told up soon they would be up and running. The two ladies were very friendly. Two stars only because I like the things this store sells... but also I witnessed the rudest customer service I've seen in recent years here lol. My boyfriend and I walked to store at 10:18PM, 12 minutes before close. We were browsing for not even 2 minutes, when the workers decided to lock the doors. Two girls ran up to the store shortly after, and upon seeing the locked door, begged if they could come in. They said they knew what they wanted and drove 30 minutes to shop there, and the workers just shook their heads and ignored them. I would understand if it was 10:30 and they were closed... but they weren't closed. It wasn't even 5 minutes to closing. The workers just came across as lazy and mean. Yall gotta do better man.
