It's nice to have a franchise kung fu tea here but they aren't living up to the same taste. Winter melon does not taste anything to melon flavored drink. Just a milk base tea flavor. Coconut didn't have enough coconut flavor. The extra .75 cent for toppings to be added should have been included for the price. Placing order service was easy efficient.They will call out your number when your drinks ready. Some of the guys could use some training in customer service. I asked a question to verify my order and you just shrugged your shoulders like you didn't even care. So for that I will give it a 3 star. read more

So glad a real boba tea spot has open in town. I go to Kung Fu tea every state I go too so I'm familiarize with the teas I get . This is day two and their tea mixture is still not 100% but I know they will get better and be like every other kung fu tea around . Just happy murfreesboro finally got one. Will definitely be a regular customer here . I came back March 4 for the same winter melon milk tea but got 50% sugar this time instead of 30% since the last time I order 30% it tasted like no sugar was add . But this time 50% it tasted like 100% sugar . They still need to get their measurements down for the mix. 30% sugar winter melon milk tea should taste like every other king fu I go to around usa. read more

I visited Kung Fu Tea on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 11 am for their soft opening. People have been anticipating their opening for months now after having been delayed a couple times, so it's no surprise that there's already a long line. Although it was a soft opening and only a selected items were available, I felt like there is still a lot of options to choose from. Like most boba shops, there are a lot of customizability with the drinks like toppings, sweetness level, and ice level. I ordered two classic teas (wintermelon black tea and longan jujube) and a matcha milk cap. After having visited multiple kung fu tea locations, I thought the drinks were pretty consistent! I do recommend adjusting the sweetness level for the classic teas if you're a moderate sweet tooth. For opening day, I was satisfied with how the drinks turn out. Visited Mar 23, 2023. I've literally been here a dozen plus times. I'm thrilled to finally have a large bubble tea franchise here in the boro! I love that recipes are already made so the likelihood of having a different tasting drink is slim. I admit the first few times I've been here the drinks took a while to be made, but they are gaining speed! I saw a previous review about customer service needing improvement but that only applies to some. For the most part my interactions have been very pleasant! I look forward to their continued growth. The flavor is there but for some of us, remember to adjust the sweetness level. The matcha milk cap is fine as is, it's equivalent to having a matcha latte with a savory tasting foam versus a sweet vanilla cold foam. Idk if snacks are to be added but I've only seen the flavored popcorn. My daughter loves the strawberry one - thank you to the owners for sharing, she's hooked! The inside is clean, has four dining tables I think and a restroom down the hall. There's plenty of parking. They're located in the Kroger plaza and share the same parking lot with the other business. Suggestions: My favorite flavors so far are matcha milk cap, KF milk black tea, & mango green tea (no toppings for all, not huge on chewing). Friends/Family have ordered the Oreo wow & Cocoa wow, I prefer the Oreo of the two because I couldn't taste much of the Cocoa. I've had KFT in many different states before and it's nice to see one in Murfreesboro. The teas here are good. I like that you can customize them. Definitely one of my favorite boba spots around. Many options to choose from, some of my favorites are taro, roasted chestnut and Oreo wow, all being slushes. I've never had a problem with service, it's always been prompt and they are respectful and nice which goes a long way these days. To try it the first time I ordered my fave...a large Taro milk black green tea w bubba & 30% sugar. And it was perfect! Service was great as well! Very excited to see Kung Fu Tea opening up in Murfreesboro! They're currently under going their soft open with plans for the official grand opening to be on March 20th. Came in about 30 minutes after they kicked off their soft opening and was happy with their service. The wait was not long especially considering the soft opening and the bobaristas were getting used to the rush. Please note that this is a soft opening so be kind to the KFT team. The interior is surprisingly spacious considering that the location is in a grocery store shopping center. They do have seating so you can sit while you wait for your order but seating is limited (at least for now). Got the classic Kung Fu Tea, oolong milk tea, and the winter melon milk green tea. The drinks were great and consistent with what I've had at other KFT locations. I got the pudding which is a rare topping here in the TN area so super happy about that. The consensus from our group is that we're super satisfied with our drinks and we look forward to returning to try more of their drinks! Super nice and helpful staff. Milk tea was good, boba texture was good, if a bit sweeter than I like (but that's personal preference). I would give Kung Fu Tea 5-stars relative to being in the boro because I would def go back when in the area, but maybe closer to 3.5-4 stars rated against boba spots in highly competitive California. read more

Solid customer service super nice employees drinks ready fairly quickly. Had to wait a couple minutes on Wow once but only bc i came in early. Think it paid off though bc its especially good fresh!
