Getting rid of the stripper pole that was in the center of the dance floor). I checked the place out on Facebook and the first review closes with, "still a ratchet, hepatitis, wannabe place!" LOL I died. But as one of the only dance clubs here I gotta check it out! My friend and I went on a Saturday night around 11pm. There was a $10 cover which is a little ridiculous but I guess a business has to do what it has to do. I didn't drink so I can't comment on their prices, though apparently Tuesday's all drinks are $2. The club itself is... Hmm.. Cute? Adequate? Seemed clean to me. It has some open tables and seats and also some VIP areas. There are 2 bars you can go to on either side of the venue which is nice, and a big dance floor in the middle. The DJ that night was pretty meh, but the place definitely has potential and a lot of local appeal! Also this was prob one of the most diverse "events" in Farmington so def worth checking out. And bonus: there was no hepatitis!!

I really don't see any silver lining with this place. The front door girls are more interested in talking to each other than in greeting you in any way. The bartender was nice, but the drinks are extremely overpriced: Hennesy is the same as Ciroc is the same as everything else, the girl basically told me that just about everything was $8... So whether you buy top shelf or bottom, it's the same price. Let's talk about the dance floor! Please, please, please, please! hire a new DJ. One that has some semblance of an idea of what should be played in a modern dance club, because I heard the same song at least 2 or 3 times, and I heard a lot of music that I'm pretty sure I danced to at middle school dances. Lauter Haus Brewing is a dog friendly 21+ only brewery in Farmington New Mexico. We decided to pay them a visit and try out the wares, as we always do when exploring a new town. We arrived and were greeted by the friendly bar tender in a well air conditioned building. Great music was playing and the televisions were playing all types of shows. There is a pinball arcade and a corn hole pit, along with a stage and comfortable seating. There is no food, but fresh popcorn and bar mix on self service bar near the seating area. The staff we met were friendly and one even gave a treat to our puppy! There are dog water bowls near the cooler for the pup. This brewery is clean and comfortable. There is a large selection of craft beers from this brewery and some vodka and gin drinks available. This is a plus for my wife, since she does not like beer. We liked this place so much, we came back twice during our stay in Farmington. I love 21+ breweries that are dog friendly. A great place for adults and their furry friends to hang out. I totally recommend this place if you like beer, a break from the summer heat, even if you do not have a fur baby. If you are in Farmington, this place is worth a try.
