We did have a party of nine, and I called ahead to either try to get a reservation in or just give a heads up. When we arrived we were still waiting on the rest of our party to arrive and the hostess seemed like it was bother/ or irritated that we even came in asking for a table.. I explained that we called earlier but she was super irritated. We were told it would be 45 minutes and that wasn't a problem at all for us! We sat at the end of the bar to grab a drink while we waited for a table to be available there was only two other people sitting at the bar mind you. we waited at the bar for around 6-7 minutes and nobody came up to us until some lady said we will get to you when we get to you. Once we got a table we were trying to be accommodating and thought we could squeeze into one of the bigger booths, quickly realized we made poor judgement and were crammed so we went and asked the hostess if we could get just the one extra table that was offered. Her response was "I literally just asked you this" and gave super rude and eye roll vibes. I apologized and said I'm so sorry we mis judged. HOWEVER hesban was absolutely the best! He was working so hard! The only reason I will come back to the restaurant would be for him! He had full knowledge of the menu and answered every question that my family had, lots of recommendations! (I was able to get him to take it) he had no reason to pay but was still super respectful although I caused an inconvenience. The kid definitely deserves a promotion, I know most managers read this, I didn't get his name but he has blonde hair and was working April 15. Let him know I still appreciate him.
