If his inspector had looked just a little bit, he would have noticed the rat droppings everywhere and seen the home made plug that was covering up a hole in the soffit. It was necessary for me to pay out of pocket to clean up the mess made by the rats, the ones the inspector failed to see. I am attaching photos of the rat droppings and the homemade plug in the soffit. See for yourself, in plain view a mess I had to pay to correct because the inspector failed to do a proper job. He came by as scheduled and assessed the problem, which turned out to be faulty suspension rods, but he also made sure there were no other issues, which I appreciated. The new rods were ordered (Maytag OEM). I did some research and found that aftermarket rods could fail quickly, which Woody confirmed. He came by again to install them.
