Now that its over, I finally tried this place, which is located next to Bucketlist Burgers. I ordered the teriyaki chicken/beef plate and overall it was not bad. Tasted pretty standard similar to flame broiler and waba grill. Comes with rice, teriyaki chicken, teriyaki beef, veggies and oranges. Top Grill is better than WaBa Grill and definitely better than Flame Broiler. I ordered the Chicken Steak Plate and my sister ordered the Steak Bowl. If you're a big eater, go for the plate as it only costs a little more. The meat is nicely charred without being burnt (plus they give a lot), the rice has a nice texture, and even the fruits and veggies are fresh. They have a clear and easy to read menu which is always nice. The workers seem rather nonchalant and the restaurant can be somewhat quiet, but the food was satisfying and filling. I like getting the chicken steak veggie bowl with avocados. They have a wide assortment of sauces for you to use: soy sauce, sambal sauce, siracha, and teriyaki sauce. Food is always great and thoroughly cooked, only complaint probably is that sometimes they put way too much teriyaki sauce on top of the meat and all your tasting is straight sauce from one bite. Loved this place! I lived directly across from it and it was my go to when I didn't feel like cooking. Also, my daughter and I would come here after her soccer games for a healthy, filling & delicious meal! I always ordered the same item and it was ALWAYS fresh and so good. My go-to dish was the salmon bowl with brown rice- the avocado added was always so creamy and fresh and the teriyaki glaze on the salmon was finger licking good. Our new favorite place in Canyon Crest! We love this place -- been there maybe 10-15 times in the past 5 months. The steak is flavorful, the salmon is delicious, and the veggies are fresh and plentiful. Their warm terriyaki sauce is delicious, I always get extras. Service is always friendly and fast, both taking our orders, and delivering the food. They have brown rice as an option, which I love. And, the owner is really nice! I just found out the woman who usually takes our order is the owner (her co-owner husband is the cook). She's super sweet, very attentive, fast, and definitely trying to serve her customers as best as she can. I love supporting a place like this!!! They could put more seats inside. (Oddly, the previous place had a lot more seats, but for some reason the new owners have barely any seats inside). Fortunately, there's usually plenty of seats outside, but on extra hot or cold days, more indoor seating would be swell. I'm so glad this placed opened up!
